I can not praise all the staff enough at Sherrall House for the excellent care they provided for my father in his very short stay while in your care. My father was moved from hospital to Sherrall House and sadly passed away a week later with his family at his side. During my father's time at Sherrall House all his needs were constantly met, he was treated with compassion, respect and dignity until the very end. All the staff at Sherrall House took so much time to support our family too while they were looking after my father. Nothing was never a problem for the outstanding staff who work incredibly hard. Jane, The Home Manager has a wonderful home which she should be proud of and an amazing team who truly care for their residents and families.

My husband was only with you for a very short while. He and us his family were made very welcome from the moment we walked in the front door. All staff were very helpful and so very kind. The carers and nurses were wonderfully kind and caring. My husband died with such dignity. I thank them all very much.

My mother has great care at Sherrell House. Staff are readily available to assist her and chat to me if needed. She is kept comfortable and has good nursing care. It is kept very clean. I am very pleased to have this care and nursing for her.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Sherrell House Care Home, and we couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are always kind, patient, and attentive, treating her with genuine warmth and respect. The home has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and it's clear that residents' comfort and wellbeing are a top priority. The activities, meals, and level of personal care all make a real difference to her happiness. We feel very reassured knowing she's in such caring hands

It was very difficult for our family to accept that our father needed to move into a care home, due to his rapidly declining health and dementia. We were very stressed about choosing the correct home and are very happy to say that in the two months our father has been in Sherrell House, we have always been pleased with our choice. We viewed many care homes in the area and beyond, but felt our father would be happy at Sherrell House as it felt comfortable and homely, but also very professional with regards to the level of care provided.

Excellent service, overall Sherrell very warm and friendly. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Carers, nurses, activity coordinators, cleaners etc...Since being here as a resident have found Sherrell to be a lovely care home.

I didn't know a service for people with dementia can be this good. Family care is often thought to be the best for our parents in my culture . But this care home does better than I dreamed possible . They allow visits from all relations , provide coffee and tea for guests & most of all. They are looking after my mother very well. They also accommodate for special dietary requirements and all the residents here as so happy as now they have lots of new friends to chat with. It's a bit like a 5 star all inclusive hotel but with medical teams ready for any incidents. One staff member in particular was my contact there , but all the staff are exceptional so thank you .

My mother has been a resident here for 6 months. I have found the staff very caring and proffessional. They go a step further and nothing is a problem. We are very pleased that my mother is being cared for in such a lovely home. The staff and management are excellent.

Have found all the staff friendly and helpful; they are respectful and caring to the residents. The food is lovely, especially the soup each evening - obviously home made. Both the dining room and lounge are light and airy; and like the rest of the home, clean and tidy.

Mum has now been at Sherrell House for three months. It's quite like a hotel with a large area where residents dine together and a large lounge and outdoor courtyard where they sit during the day. The lifestyle coordinators work very hard to make the resident's lives more colourful with various activities during the week. Every time I visit there is something different going on. They have a regular performer who sings all the old hits live in the courtyard, he gives it 100% and puts a big smile on their faces. My mum hasn't danced for years but while being resident at Sherrell House we had some very precious moments together dancing and having fun. Most notably my mum's 90's birthday was her best ever. The managers and all the carers, kitchen staff, and housekeeping, they all do a fantastic job. Mum and I always go for a little walk around under the oak trees and also a second garden to the rear with seating. Thank you to all of the team at Sherrell House.

What a difference Sherrell House has made to my mum's quality of life. Last year she was in hospital for her birthday. Today she celebrated her birthday at Sherrell House and what a great time she had too! Two of the staff had her up dancing, sang to her and together with all the staff, presented her with a beautiful cake the chef kindly made. Sherrell House has enabled her to have a wonderful day because of all of the amazing staff who care for her and all the residents with the utmost compassion and empathy. We are really very lucky and so grateful! Thank you all.

So far, my experience of my mother's care home is excellent, no complaints, she is so happy there. The staff's level of care and respect they have towards the patients is excellent, in my opinion. They are well fed, kept clean, entertained continuously, not just left to sit in a room. I am so happy she is there. Excellent home.

Overall, extremely pleased with Sherrell House, just entered the second year of full-time live-in care, this is the third home we tried and Sherrell House is leaps and bounds the best we've seen! Number one in the area for us!

My mother is getting good care from trained staff. We are pleased with her progress since coming into Sherrell House. The one thing which could improve her happiness is to have more interactions with the other residents.

My dad moved into Sherrell House a few months ago. He has been cared for very well and is now looking younger than when he arrived. He took a little while to settle in to this new stage of his life, but was given encouragement by all members of the team, who were most welcoming. He is now very happily involved in the life of the home, liking all members of the team and pretty well every aspect of the community he is now part of. The family are all very positive about the home and the way he is looked after.

My nan currently resides in Sherrell House and I cannot be more happy with the care they give my nan. The staff are amazing and I know she is getting the best care. It is such a wonderful feeling to know she is being looked after. The activities they arrange for the residents are so good and I know they all enjoy it.

Excellent facility. Recently refurbished throughout. Residents are kept busy with lots of entertainment and are generally well looked after. Food is of good quality and refreshments/snacks served regularly. No reason for any complaint. Staff are friendly and very caring.

Absolutely incredible service. Have had experience with a few different homes in the area, and this stands out above the rest by far! The staff are friendly and warm and always happy to have a quick chat about how things are going, showing care and respect when talking about my grandma.

My mother has been in this care home for around seven years, and we have been satisfied with the way they have attended to her needs. We have always got on very well with the staff, and any problems are quickly rectified. We would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a placement.
