View Full Details of Bradbury GrangeI am very happy with the service Bradbury Grange has given my husband for the last 5 months. The day staff are all great, friendly and always helpful, both caters and domestic staff. I'm not sure about night staff as I never see them but my husband is sometimes negative about his night experiences, which maybe the dementia talking! He occasionally does not have a continence pad on and I've had a couple of accidents when taking him out because of this. He is sometimes dressed with non matching clothes. The laundry service is excellent. Visitors are always made welcome and never made to feel a nuisance. It is sometimes hard to get in at weekends when there is no one in the office, this can be frustrating ringing the bell for 10 minutes. But thank you for all you do in difficult times circumstances , my family and I are most appreciative.
Bradbury Grange is a wonderfully safe and welcoming place where both residents and visitors can relax and be themselves. I have found it immensely reassuring the way the smallest of incidents is reported back to me by phone so that I can feel involved and know that my sister is getting the very best of care. I have never had any regrets in my choice of Bradbury Grange as a lovely home for my sister as she struggles with alzheimers disease. Excellent staff, excellent accommodation, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere.
Mum has been at Bradbury Grange for three months now, and I have been consistently impressed by all of the staff there. There is great continuity of care, with the same familiar friendly faces on a regular rotation. When mum arrived she was made to feel very welcome, and was so happy that she could bring her favourite pieces of furniture and pictures, as they meant so much to her. It has become very much a home from home which is always kept fresh and clean. The food on offer is freshly made and is of a high quality. When mum was poorly they kept me up to date at all times and were prompt in involving the relevant medical practitioners. The staff then kept a very close eye on her and any additional needs were taken care of. Mum is happy and settled, and after the stress and worry of moving her into a care home, I now wouldn't hesitate in recommending Bradbury Grange.
Both of my parents were residents at this lovely home and were excellently care for by all of the staff. We always felt welcomed when we visited, as if the home had become part of our family and we became a part of theirs. The staff did not just care for my parents - they really cared about them. Mum particularly loved spending time in the beautiful garden. We have felt so reassured by all of the staff at Bradbury Grange. The home is managed well, kept very clean and we were always kept well informed. We can't thank the staff enough for all of their care and effort.
Bradbury Grange is a very welcoming Care Home. The whole team are all very friendly and show great love & kindness for the residents. They are professional in their work and are very approachable & understanding towards the residents individual needs as well as giving support to the visiting families/ friends, making it a happy environment to live in, it also provides a beautiful garden area and fun activities on a regular basis, art, music, pet visits and games etc that the residents can get involved in.The Chef cooks a variety & nutritional meals daily and makes very yummy cakes too I can't praise this home enough for looking after our precious Mum
I can only speak from my experience of observing. My sister is in the care home not me. I know that she is cared for, kindly and compassionately. All the carers I have met have been caring, cheerful and I can even say loving towards my sister, and very patient. I took my time to ensure that Bradbury Grange was the best home we encountered.
Cannot fault the care, staff that my mother receives All the staff that my wife and I have contact with are professional, friendly and sympathetic to my mother's needs. This is across all the team from management to the the carers and domestic staff The laundry team do a great job, returning the clothes quickly and very clean. The carers take time to talk to my mother who can get a little upset sometimes. They quickly jump on any health issues and listen to our concerns if we have any. The catering is very good and needs to be commended We can approach senior staff if we need to but seeing them nearly every time we visit puts our minds at rest that mum is being well looked after. She insists on regular visits to the hairdresser, and why not. The atmosphere is first class and we are encouraged to take our dogs into the home and the team appear to enjoy this more than our dogs Overall we are happy and believe we have a super relationship with everyone there
I received a wonderful welcome to the home, with attention and consideration to every detail. The staff were very professional and efficient in dealing with all requests. The well-being of all is paramount and it is a home with much tender loving care. All staff appear to be full of much kindness to residents and visitors. In many cases, the resident has to give up their home, creature comforts and things they know and love, which is a bereavement in itself, therefore, this condition receives much care until the resident has settled down. There is always someone available to give help, direction and guidance. It is wonderful for a loved one to say, at last, I feel safe! I am contented and well cared for. Staff go the extra mile to spread happiness. The church services, led by the Chaplain and other ministers, are a great help and enjoyed by those who attend. Entertainment provided is varied, and suited to the needs of those partaking; there is much laughter and enjoyment.
The care at Bradbury Grange is excellent. Residents are treated kindly and with respect as are the visitors. Everywhere is very clean and welcoming. I would recommend Bradbury Grange to anyone unreservedly. Well done to all who work there!
Considering Mum's age and health condition, she doing well and seems settled now. Very homely atmosphere, staff, residents and visitors make it so (based on recent visits) a little sadness sometimes, but overall joyous, upbeat atmosphere. Nice environment, nice, caring attentive staff, visitors made very welcome, nice food. Facilities and materials, interesting books to browse through, objects, therapy objects to focus on and enjoy. My mum had 1 to 1 singing therapy, also group therapy takes place in the main living area with all residents. A trip to the local museum next week. All reassuring.
Very pleased. Mum seems to be settling in ok.
I think this home is lovely. Clean, comfortable and friendly. The staff are professional and welcoming. My auntie always looks happy, comfortable and well cared for. A lovely buzz about the place, with entertainment for the residents - what else can you ask for?
I visit my partner three to four times weekly. I am always treated with kindness, consideration and respect. The same is true for my partner, who has multiple needs and many mood swings which are all taken into careful consideration in the way she is being looked after. Staff team work incredibly hard, but they have a positive attitude and are well supported by management. I have visited a number of care homes, this is the best!
My mum has been a resident now for three months at Bradbury Grange and moving from her own home to residential care closer to me has been a hard transition for her and all the staff have been very supportive, kind and friendly to both her and myself. I am really pleased with how well Mum is now putting on weight, she really enjoys the food and looks 100% healthier. The caretaker has been great in assisting to personalise her room so that she has familiar surroundings including a very large plant! This move has given me such peace of mind knowing that my mum is safe and secure and very well supported and cared for by all the staff. I thoroughly recommend Bradbury Grange.
My mum has been in Bradbury Grange for over three years now. It feels homely when you walk around, which is the reason for choosing this particular home. The staff are caring and attentive and the residents seem happy. It has also improved recently with more staff being employed.
The manager and staff ensured that my father settled into Bradbury Grange with care and kindness at a difficult time of year. Nothing was too much trouble. He is now thriving in his new surroundings. We are very grateful.
My friend was only at Bradbury Grange for a very short period, but the staff were very kind and attentive. They did everything to make her comfortable and content. The staff especially, went out of their way to provide her with a radio station through a tv, when modern DAB outlets failed. I would not hesitate to recommend Bradbury Grange.
My father has been a resident here for the last six months. His transition from home life to being in a residential establishment was not easy, but was very well facilitated by the kind, friendly and helpful staff. Since being there he looks 100% better and although still settling in, I am confident that I have no worries regarding his care. My only quibble and this is petty, but it would be nice to see some more plants around, as I do believe 'greenery' can have a lovely soothing effect. Maybe the residents, if they were up to it, could participate in their care.
My sister-in-law has been here for four years and is still happy and well. She is looked after very well. Thank you all.
I came to this home for respite having lost my husband some months ago, I have received such care and kindness from the staff and some of the residents. I have decided to become a permanent resident for I feel safe, secure and comfortable. The caretaker has made my room very homely for which I am grateful. I can see my family and enjoy the rest of my time in here.
