Bradbury Grange's dedicated team is led by Home Manager Kim Saint who brings over 40 years of care expertise. Kim joined in November 2022 and has since transformed the home into the vibrant, welcoming place it is today. Her leadership inspires the team daily - from Janine’s pub quiz fundraisers at the local Neptune pub to Olivia’s lively activities, to Ann, who has been part of the MHA family for an incredible 44 years.
Ann joined MHA in 1980 and is our longest serving team member. Initially based at Cliff Deane in Tankerton, she moved to Bradbury Grange when residents transferred there in 2010 and is now a senior carer.
“I feel very honoured to be MHA’s longest serving employee. One of the best things over the years has been getting to know the people you care for, having a laugh with them and solving their problems as well as getting to know their families.
“Being a care worker is an interesting job. It is not without its challenges but it is very rewarding. You have to have patience and be interested in the people you care for. I always say to those joining to look at it like caring for your grandparents and how you would want to treat them."
Paula has been the Administration Manager at Bradbury Grange since 2019. She enjoys her role, in particular using her skills and experience to solve any issues as they occur. One of the best aspects of her job has been getting to know both the residents and staff.
Previously Paula was in the Women’s Royal Army Corps and also worked for the MOD and Kent Police in the Criminal Justice Unit.
She has two grown up children, enjoys coastal walks with her dog Oscar and socialising with friends.
After completing her education in health and social care, Olivia joined Bradbury Grange as a care assistant before moving into her current role. As an activity coordinator, she enjoys taking residents out, having a laugh with them and making sure they are happy and comfortable.
“In the two years I have worked here, it has taught me a lot, especially on how to stay patient, calm and most importantly look after the needs of the residents. When I first started, I was immediately looked after and I want to credit all those who gave me help, advice and allowed me to shadow them. I love working at MHA Bradbury Grange, it's a great place to work and I like being the youngest at the home. One of my colleagues has been here for more than 40 years so the experience you get is second to none."
