My mum has been a resident at Pennystone Court for 2 and half years and I have to say I am delighted with the service provided. She is never left unattended and the staff are caring and wonderful - nothing is ever too much trouble. The activity program is really great and the facilities are excellent.
I am also very happy with the medical support she receives. Any problems and they are onto it immediately. Cant sing their praises enough. Very Happy.

I cannot praise the staff at Rushden park nursing home enough. The care my father was given up to his death was just amazing the staff there were always happy and supportive. Nothing was too much trouble for them and my father's last days were very comfortable and dignified. The home was always extremely
clean, warm and very well decorated.

At the age of 96, my mother finally took the step of going into care. From her first visit she felt that Stone's Place was right for her; it was superbly clean with wonderful facilities and the staff were most welcoming. Now, three months on, my mother has settled really well. She tells me that she
cannot fault the home nor the staff - "it is like living in a hotel" she says!! The food is excellent and she takes part in most, if not all, the activities - within the home and out. From my point of view, I am delighted to see that my mother has totally immersed herself in her new environment. At 96 it cannot have been easy for her, but everything about Stone's Place has made her transition into care so much easier. So, well done to Emma, Bev and all the staff at Stone's Place, Lincoln. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Abbey Park Nursing Home

My dad was a resident of Abbey Park Care home in his final years. He had a lovely room (flat) that was kept spotlessly clean at all times and was always nice and warm. The staff were excellent - really committed to first class care and very warm, caring and efficient. Dad was very fond of them all.
We could not pick out names as from the carers to the cleaning staff, they all had the same warmth and commitment to giving the residents the best possible experience. There is also a lovely chaplain who regularly visits the residents.
The food is excellent - dad never complained about this apart from to say there was too much of it! Really good quality.
There is a nice garden at the back which dad liked to sit out in with visitors, and a nice dining area with a library of books.
The staff really went above and beyond for him, especially in his final weeks, making sure he was comfortable and we were kept informed at all times. We are so grateful for all everyone did for him, as was he.

My mum has now been at Stones for 4 months. I had to find a care home very quickly after mum had been in hospital and it was looking likely that she would not be able to return to my home to live with me as she was needing a lot more care.
My first impression when I walked through the door was the
friendliness of all the staff that I encountered and it wasn't a one off, staff continue to be friendly and smile every time I come to visit. I noticed that Stones was homely and lovely and clean and didn't smell. Then I saw the little Chapel and I knew straight away that this was the place for mum and I haven't been wrong! It took a while for her to settle in as she couldn't accept that she would be staying but she now enjoys it especially singing hymns in the Chapel and armchair exercises.
I have to thank the Assistant Manager for her support at a time when I was battling the guilt of having to leave mum there. It has been a success story and I am so pleased I chose Stones Place for her.

My Dad has now been a resident of the home for the last 10 months and settled really well. The staff are kind, helpful and very considerate to his needs. He is now eating so much better than he was at home and enjoys the variety of meals on offer, tailored to his specific dietary needs, always being
given a choice. He enjoys the variety of activities on offer and he very pleased that he is still able to take part in times of prayer and communion. The staff ensure the family are told should there be any medical issues such as falls/illness as soon as is practically possible. Any questions or concerns the family have are dealt with efficiently and as promptly as possible. The younger members of the family are always made welcome and appreciate time given to them by the staff when visiting great grandad.

Here's a review for Lawnfield House:

---

My mother was a resident at Lawnfield House, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care she received. Every staff member demonstrated genuine compassion and professionalism, but I must particularly commend Nora, Edna, and Casetta, whose dedication

to my mum's wellbeing was truly outstanding.

Lauren, the manager, was exemplary in her communication, keeping our family consistently informed about any changes to my mother's care. This thoughtful approach gave us tremendous peace of mind during what can be a difficult time.

Monique at the front desk went above and beyond in coordinating external appointments for hairdressing and podiatry, handling these arrangements with efficiency and care.

The facilities themselves were impeccable. My mum's room was always clean and comfortable, while the communal areas and gardens were beautifully maintained and created a welcoming, homely atmosphere.

Mum loved Heather Grange from the moment she arrived. Throughout our stay, the team were caring, kind and respectful at every interaction. Mum relaxed and was comfortable with many visitors who were made to feel welcome, also. As a family, we created fabulous memories in a dreadful, difficult time for
Mum. Mum had good & bad days, always feeling safe and never alone. Mum always said she didn't want to pass in a care home, if she was here today, I am sure she'd to say I should have gone to Heather Grange.

Epworth Grange was Mum's home for the last three and a half years of her life until she died this year at the age of 96. She moved into the home following a fall, and although she was then already frail, the staff were wonderful in accommodating her changing needs.

Mum's room was warm and comfortable,

and kept spotlessly clean by the diligent support staff. A good choice of food was offered, along with regular cups of tea!

Great care was taken by the senior staff when administering medications. The home has close contact with a good medical practice, with an experienced and sensitive doctor frequently visiting.

Another plus for the home is the wonderful chaplaincy service provided by Fiona, and the varied social programme organised by Michaela. Adjacent to the home is a thriving Methodist church, which provides support each Sunday for any residents wanting to attend a service.

My family were very pleased with the service provided by Epworth Grange, and would strongly recommend it.
