Abbey Park is an amazing place. Staff are so friendly, caring, symphatic and professional. nothing is too much trouble. Not only do they look after the resident they are there for the family & very supportive to us. I was not worried about leaving Dad as I know he was being looked after there.

It's an absolute joy to go in and visit, it feels like my extended family.

The home and staff are lovely to all my mum is very happy there I a most happy with them thank you for your compassion to the residents the staff do all they can the staff are amazing thank you from me personally

Fabulous home.

I moved my mum to Waterside House just under a year ago from another home where she was declining. Since then, she has been at Waterside House she is a different person. She is far happier; she smiles and laughs again. She has gained weight and generally looks, feels, and acts better than she did before she came. The love and care shown by all staff at Waterside House is superb. They make time for my mum, and the activities they offer are wonderful. I wish I had found Waterside House sooner; they are a shining example of how her care should be given.

My mother in law has recently become a resident at Charnwood. The care and professionalism from all the staff has been amazing. They have made her feel welcome from the carers, seniors, management, entertainment, catering staff and everyone at the home and this has helped immensely with the transition. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is clean, airy and all the amenities cater for all needs. Thank you all, as a family we are very pleased with the care she is receiving

After working at Bloxwich hospital for 8 years Waterside is the best place I have come across, staff are 1st class.

The home is wonderful very friendly and welcoming both my great grandparents are residents and I've never seen them happier. They take good care of them and I wouldn't trust anyone else better for the job

Mom has been looked after wonderfully with kindness and compassion. Staff are wonderful and always have time to help with anything they can. Moms room is always kept very clean and she loves the good variety of meals, especially the puddings.

Staff are always approachable and willing to listen. Carers are kind to residents and helpful when approached.

Mum moved here 6 months ago and the change we've seen in her is amazing. Not only is she obviously healthier and happier - she has also regained her confidence and cheeky sense of humour. The staff here are all incredible. They consistently display genuine kindness and compassion; have time to spend with mum; and bring fun and joy into her life. The programme of activities is interesting, engaging, and accessible to all; and the food is great. I have also received support whenever I've asked for guidance or advice. I just wish we had found Waterside House sooner!

Both of my parents are residents of Abbey Perk, my mother, in the dementia section, and my father in sheltered accommodation.

My mother has been a resident since September 2022, and the care she receives is exceptional. My father visited every day from when my mother started living at Abbey Park, and the staff and management treated him with the same care and respect as my mother, as if he was a resident himself.

In January, my father came to the conclusion that the house was getting too much for him, and decided to move into Abbey Park himself. I saw Tina, the home manager on January 5th, and my father moved into an apartment the next day; it was that quick. He initially needed some medical care, which was put into action immediately, and he's now back to full health.

Again, the care and professionalism of everyone has made his move so easy. He's happy and healthy, and gets to see my mother without the stress of driving there.

I can't recommend Abbey Park highly enough.

During our visits, myself and my family were able to see her regularly and without issue. I very much appreciated the time I had with my loved one and thank the staff there for being so accommodating.

My mother has been a resident since July 2024 and has been looked after both with excellent care from carers and nursing staff.

The home is split into 4 units. Each unit has a lounge and dining area which we are all able to use. Activities are undertaken on each of the units and residents can also be taken to another unit for entertainment. Entainment is provided by 2 excellent activities co-ordinators. External entertainers also attend home such as singers.

Also can visit anytime. Well done.

The staff at Abbey Park have done everything they can to help my Father, nothing has been too much trouble. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and committed to caring for him as well as they possibly can. He has a cosy flat where he can potter around, making himself drinks and snacks as he wishes, and he can join others in the communal dining and lounge areas for activities and meals, giving him both the freedom to maintain his independence or to join others whenever he wants. Management are approachable and effective, his care team, activities team & chaplain are caring & professional and everything is clean and tidy due to diligent domestic and maintenance staff who are on hand every day. Deciding to move a loved one into a care home is never easy, but we know with Abbey Park, we've made the right decision.
