Overall Experience

I came to Brookfield following surgery as I wanted a place to rest and recover and where I would have any support I needed. Brookfield was a great choice, I didn't have to think about remembering what medication to take when or worry about preparing meds. There were plenty of activities to engage with

and a couple of long-term residents in particular were warm and welcoming, it was a good mix and I've been able to gradually increase what I've been able to do as I've healed. Having support with personal care was a massive help in the early days. Knowing staff are on hand I've had more confidence to do things which helped me gain mobility and independence more quickly.

Overall Experience

The Homestead is a lovely clean home. The manager's & staff are all very friendly & helpful. Mum has a lovely big room, & she enjoys the activities, she enjoys the food too. She has made some new friends too, she has settled in now thank you all x

Overall Experience

This was our sister's 2nd care home. Elizabeth resided in Brookfield care home, and it was a place she called home. She absolutely loved her time there and all the different activities there was for the residents to experience and got involved in.
I found all the staff to be very friendly and professional.

We as a family were delighted that our sister was very settled in Brookfield Care Home.
We would highly recommend Brookfield Care Home to anybody who is looking for a safe and caring home. Home from home.

My mother was a resident at The Homestead Care home Carterton, until she recently passed away peacefully.
We would like to express our heart felt Thanks to the Dedicated team that cared for my mother on a daily basis, we would like to especially thank the staff that were on duty the day / evening

when my mother passed away, they showed care and compassion, treating my mother with dignity and respect at a very sad and emotional time. My mother passed away in an environment that became her home surrounded by her family. The staff gave us privacy but were close to hand if we needed anything. We really appreciated the sandwiches, snacks and drinks that were supplied by the home at the time. Once again we cannot thank all the staff enough for all that they have done, we are very grateful.

Overall Experience

From the first day we walked into The Homestead we felt welcomed and reassured. All the staff were warm and friendly, regardless of their role or the floor on which they worked. Mum's room, on floor 2 was kept clean and tidy. She was so well-cared for, always a member of staff on hand to guide her when

she was confused, and always with kindness, compassion and respect.Mum's physical health and dementia were unpredictable but the great management team and care staff sought every possible way, together with the NHS, to support mum and maintain her safety. They managed her high pain levels so well she was able to say 'I'm happy, I feel I've come alive again' which gave us great comfort. Sadly, mum passed away after only 7 weeks at The Homestead but we are comforted by the knowledge that her final weeks were spent in such a caring and homely environment.

I regularly visit a couple of friends at Homestead Care Home, and another has just recently moved in. The home consistently sets the benchmark for exceptional residential care. From the moment you enter, the environment is warm, welcoming and immaculately maintained. The facilities are modern yet homely,

with accessible rooms, beautifully kept gardens, and a range of communal areas that promote comfort and connection.
What truly sets Homestead apart is its exceptional management. The leadership is proactive, visible, and clearly dedicated to the well being of both residents and staff. Their attention to detail and commitment to high standards are reflected throughout the home.
It's a place where residents thrive and families find peace of mind. Highly recommend.

I have both my mother and father in-law at the Homestead. Upon every visit we find all the members of staff and management to be very welcoming and polite. Although my in-laws require different levels of care, I have full confidence in the care come and all the staff with meeting their needs. I highly

Overall Experience

My mum has had exceptional care since being here in July '24. All the staff are so friendly, caring and thoughtful. They communicate well through phone/messages and check in on visits. A few of the regular staff nurses are especially good at continuity of care and good humour regarding the challenges

of dementia care. I have recommended Brookfield Oxford more times than I can remember.

I cannot express our thanks and gratefulness to each and every member of MHA The Homestead, Carterton. The most professional, caring, hardworking team who prioritise the health and happiness of every resident. Mum's carers treat her with respect and love and we are so lucky to have had Mum accepted

here as a resident. The team leaders and the general manager are always approachable, knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. The catering staff have been wonderful. The facility is always spotless, and the ambience is magical. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead.

Overall Experience

My Dad has been at Brookfield Care Home for the last 6 months in the dementia floor upstairs. We honestly couldn't be happier with his care. Every member of staff has been kind and attentive (with Dad and us), and they keep us fully informed and updated. The food is excellent and Dad is eating well,

the whole place is very clean. Dad needs a high level of nursing care and many other Homes couldn't accommodate his needs. We are so very grateful to Brookfield for taking Dad's care on and for the unlimited kindness and patience they show to him. I hope this review can convey just a small amount of the enormous gratitude we have for Brookfield and every member of their team. THANK YOU.
