My father went in for short term respite to give my mum a bit of a rest with dad's symptoms. The staff at the home where very supportive with his care and looked after him brilliantly,a very warm atmosphere through out the home.He had various activities to stimulate his stay.The staff very attentive to him and the family while we where visiting. A wonderful garden setting with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the surroundings. When Dad came home we knew he was well looked after by all the staff.

The support both my mother and I have received from every member of the care team has been phenomenal and never falters. Every detail of her care has always been personalised to meet her needs and is reviewed regularly to adapt where needed. All of the care staff are compassionate and kind, offering a high standard of care, not only physically but emotionally too. The chefs goes out of their way to personalise meals for her, the handy man will always stay with her for a extra few minutes to have a chat, the wonderful Chaplin offers both emotional and spiritual support in a friendship, making Mum feel a bit more loved. During bumps in the road with physical and mental health, the home manager and management staff keep a close eye monitoring where small changes or extra encouragement that benefits her quality of life. Each and every person goes above and beyond. My mums health and general wellbeing would not be what it is with this exceptional care, we are incredibly grateful.

I have found all staff very helpful, friendly.

Today we have discussed a discharge for my mother with firstly a home visit to ensure that everyone is comfortable for a full time return home with a suitable care package in place. The meeting was very satisfactory.

The craft & entertainment person very friendly.

The Staff are always friendly and helpful and always keep me updated on what is going on with my mother's care. My mother is well looked after and my mother is settled and she likes living there and the service she is receiving. Her room is always clean.

Brookfield is providing care and support for my brother. The home keeps me well informed of his health status. He is very comfortable during his stay at the home. Staff is very welcoming and helpful during my visit to the home.

A day after arriving all his washing had been done & labelled. Really nice to see my friend having such a laugh with two of the staff. :)

My wife likes her room and is getting to know the nurses and the 'carers' who try to keep her clean, happy and comfortable. Whats great us that most of the staff 'hello and smile' with me!

My husband has been here five weeks and has settled really well. He loves being able to get into the garden and has enjoyed the activities we are a family feel very happy with everything. Staff are so friendly and approachable.

As a new resident in the care system, I was concerned my wife wouldn't adjust. Thankfully the staff, management and overall attitude toward residents has been wonderful. It takes lots of patience to look after someone with cerebral issues, however, I needn't have worried. My wife has adjusted and been very happy at Homestead!

Too many complaints to portray the lack of basic care and above all dignity!! A complete shocking care home experience. Not one we wish to experience ever in our family's life again. My husband was eventually transferred to 999 the hospital. We have never been so relieved!!

I really enjoy being at Brookfield. Carers + staff are brilliant in general with the odd couple of carers who dont seem to want to be here.

I came to Brookfield following surgery as I wanted a place to rest and recover and where I would have any support I needed. Brookfield was a great choice, I didn't have to think about remembering what medication to take when or worry about preparing meds. There were plenty of activities to engage with and a couple of long-term residents in particular were warm and welcoming, it was a good mix and I've been able to gradually increase what I've been able to do as I've healed. Having support with personal care was a massive help in the early days. Knowing staff are on hand I've had more confidence to do things which helped me gain mobility and independence more quickly.

The Homestead is a lovely clean home. The manager's & staff are all very friendly & helpful. Mum has a lovely big room, & she enjoys the activities, she enjoys the food too. She has made some new friends too, she has settled in now thank you all x
