I visit my friend, who I've known for 60+ years, and the home is very comfortable, staff friendly, always clean and tidy, atmosphere great, and they cannot do enough for my friend, who has thrived since going in, at nearly 101 years. She has delicious meals, is very well cared for by the staff and is
very popular. I enjoy going and visiting my friend and the home, and come away with a great experience.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtThank you for your compliments to the staff team at Anjulita Court. We are pleased to welcome friends and family, and it is lovely to hear you enjoy the visits to your dear friend.

I have been visiting the care home for almost 3 years. The home has been inconsistent and makes false claims. No proper mental capacity check was done in my view, and the paperwork at the beginning was vague and shown that have poor awareness of LPA's, etc.
The care staff are great but the senior
management team are fake and thus a lack of trust has developed between us. Need to look closer at their overall behaviours. It seems over recent months that the age of facility is showing with visitors toilet out of order for at least 3 months.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtThanks for your feedback. We're pleased you think our care staff are great. However, we're sad and disappointed that you haven't accepted the outcome of our formal investigation into your complaints and that your experience does not match that of your other family members, other residents and their relatives who have left positive reviews.
In response to your points: - All documentation and checks were completed in line with our policies and procedures and these were described to you during the formal complaints investigation last year. - You state the home makes false claims but without specific details, we cannot respond to this allegation further. - We are proud of our senior management team whose members are highly qualified, dedicated care professionals with 100+ years of combined experience. - One toilet is temporarily unavailable due to a lighting issue, not due to our facility's age. Alternative visitor toilets have always been accessible and are clearly signposted.

Mum received a high standard of care at Oak Manor. The team are kind. caring, hardworking and approachable across all of the various roles; care/domestic/voluntary/admin/management. Family views are sought and taken into account when delivering care. Leadership is very strong. Links with local services
and community engagements are well established to enhance the experience and care of the residents.
Reply from Cecilia Adamek, Home Manager at Oak Manor Care HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share such kind and positive feedback about Oak Manor. The management and staff at Anjulita Court are exceptional in the care shown to residents and their families. My mother was a resident for 5 years until her death in April 2026. At all times the staff were attentive to her needs and accommodating to us as visitors. Their caring and flexible attitude
helped make the experience as good as possible, especially in the more difficult days leading up to the end. Highly recommended!
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtIt was our pleasure to support your mother for her time here, her sense of humour was always uplifting. Thank you for the positive comments which we will share with the team here and please know that you are always welcome at Anjulita Court. Kind regards from Ernie and the team.

Mum moved in to the Mill unit in 2021. While no-one would choose to be in a care home with dementia, we were very happy that she was safe. Activities mum enjoyed included music therapy, group music sessions, attending Christian services, playing bingo, having her hair done and time in the hydrotherapy
pool.
Staff always interacted well with mum, even when she was debating the need for her medication.
When it came to what turned out to be the last 2 weeks of mums life, staff were hugely helpful and supportive. My brother and I were able to stay on the unit for the last 5 days. As well as great care for mum, we also felt looked after, both physically and emotionally. Many staff and volunteers came to say goodbye to mum and share their memories with us. Staff were also in attendance at mum's funeral.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtIt was an absolute privilege and honour to look after your mum. Your kind words about our team mean a lot, especially regarding the support and compassion shown to you and your family. We're also delighted to hear she enjoyed so many of our activities. Thank you for trusting us with your mum's care and taking the time to share your experience. We wish your family well and please stay in touch, you're always welcome any time.

My Mum was admitted to Anjulita Court, Redlands, as her health had deteriorated and she needed 24 hour care. The staff immediately understood her needs and instinctively provided the care she needed. They were compassionate and kind, making her feel at home very quickly. Sadly, Mum's condition deteriorated
further and after a shirt hospital stay, she died. However, I would have been very happy for her to have remained in Anjulita Court, where the ethos and staff make it a very special place.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtThank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're honoured to have cared for your lovely mum and grateful for your kind words about our team. We wish you and your family all the best and our doors are always open to you.

Very pleased to have found Anjulita Court for my parents-in-law as they are now at a time in their lives where they need extra care. They are settling in very well with the help of the wonderful staff. Dad loves the home cooked food and their rooms are homely, bright and clean. Senior carers on mill
are very approachable and address any needs Dad and Mum might have, family are very happy they are being well looked after.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtThank you for taking time to leave such as a lovely comment. Oak Manor Care Home has provided exceptional care and support for my Dad. As his mixed dementia became more advanced, he continued living with us, but when the time came to consider a nursing home, I was filled with worry and constantly reminded myself that it was in his best interests.
I could not
be more relieved or grateful for the care he has received. Watching him settle into his new home has been incredibly reassuring. Every team member shows genuine warmth, compassion, and dedication, giving me complete confidence that my Dad is cared for with the same love and respect I would want for him myself. The team work tirelessly and professionally, always delivering care with dignity and kindness. The facilities are excellent, and the activities are thoughtfully organised and Dad is encouraged and supported to join in. Most importantly, my Dad is smiling constantly and clearly enjoying the vibrant, welcoming environment around him. He is eating well and looks truly happy! Thank you

My Mum has been a resident for 4 weeks now. From the start when I was looking for the right care home to today, after she has lived there, I have been so impressed with the compassion, support, professionalism and kindness of all the staff. The management and care teams have also helped me so much
during this hard time.
I think Oak Manor is exceptional and I feel lucky a room became available just when we needed one.
My Mum is very happy there, has settled in quickly and now has a life with friends, support, activities to fill her day and all the lovely team who look after her so very well. It is indeed a great relief to me to know my Mum is very well looked after and in a nice environment.
From my experience, they have gone the extra mile to make sure my Mum is settled and looked after in all aspects of life. This makes me very happy my Mum has this new 'family' to enjoy this next stage of her life with.
Thank you for looking after her so well.

I have been staying in Oak Manor for respite while my daughter is on holiday. I have always heard excellent reports of this care home and my experience even exceeds these. The atmosphere is so warm and caring and the care is excellent. I hope that if I eventually need permanent care that Oak Manor will
be able to accommodate me.

We are so thankful to the wonderful staff on Mill Unit (dementia unit). They are always so 'good' with mum and very caring towards us as well. Today they made mum's 96th birthday very special for her and us. We thank the kitchen and domestic staff as well as cares, chaplains and volunteers.
She tells
us she is happy living here, and that means the world to us.

Dad came to Anjulita Court for 2 weeks of respite care. I had actively been looking for the right environment for Dad, following a difficult experience he had had previously in another care home. From the moment I stepped into Anjulita, I was greeted at the door and shown around with complete understanding
and empathy. Each member of staff took the time to listen and wanted to know all about my dad and his needs. If there is one word to sum up the culture at Anjulita, it would be 'family'. My dad has felt at home and relaxed throughout his two weeks of respite, and as a consequence, I have also felt the benefit of his full-time carer, knowing that the level of care he has received has been exceptional.
Reply from Ernie Botley, Home Manager at Anjulita CourtThank you for your review and ratings of the support for your Dad. I have passed this positive feedback to the team at Anjulita Court. I am very pleased that your Dad felt part of the Anjulita family for his short stay.
