Thank you for your review and your positive comments regarding the staff at Horfield Lodge; I will pass these on to them.Your comments on the food provided are important to us and we welcome all feedback. The home aims to provide a choice of high standard, nutritious meals. Unfortunately, we have had recent staff changes in the kitchen, which has at times affected the quality of the food served. We have been working very hard to fill the vacancy, and I am pleased to report that we have recently, successfully appointed a new cook and chef manager. Whilst recruitment checks are underway, we have secured an exceptional chef to cover the role. I am aware that the food standards have already improved, and I offer my apologies that you have been dissatisfied with the food service. I am hopeful that this situation is now rectified, and improvements are already noticeable.
