Care Homes Owned by MHA in London

I started in the care home as a volunteer recently and all the staff were very kind and welcoming, introducing me to all the residents. All the residents here are very nice and the activities coordinator tries his best to keep everyone happy and entertained - having weekly karaoke sessions which all the residents love (they love singing and dancing). The care home has a schedule for weekly activities and organise activities such as arts and crafts, going to the garden and performances on certain days. Residents also have personalised pictures of family and friends and decorations in their rooms to help them feel comfortable.

I am very pleased that my friend is receiving the best care that he needs. Safe environment and tidy. Would recommend to the placement team.

This is Pearl. I find Riverview Home is excellent and liveable, my friend Jennifer is showing good signs of recovery. She is coping well with staff and blending the food is good. Jennifer is eating well to build her energy. I am happy to see Jennifer's improvement.

It has a lovely atmosphere and the residents look and seem happy.

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. My mother was very happy with her care and viewed her stay as a holiday. She also said she would be happy to return again. The visitors mentioned they were happy with the respect and courtesy provided by the staff. The only minor negative point is that we had a miscommunication about the discharge date. We were under the impression that the discharge date was 4.8.26. The staff thought it was 3.8.26. We were not told about it.

This initial impression has been more than justified by sons' and my experience. I go in frequently unannounced beforehand virtually everyday. The senior carers are very knowledgeable, experienced and helpful, kind and understanding. Furthermore all the carers I encounter are extremely friendly, caring and thoughtful and from my observations there is little turnover of staff which is particularly important in the case of those suffering from dementia. The staff appear to be happy in their work. It's very impressive that virtually all the staff (not only those on my wife's floor) know her name and greet her by such when they see her. There are many activities on offer but despite concerted efforts by the staff they have been unable to get my wife who also suffering from Parkinson's disease to engage for any substantial period

I absolutely love River View Lodge The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Ann and her team are very approchable and easy to talk to and their care is second to none, The home is always spotlessly clean and residents obviously very happy. I always get a phone call if there are any concerns which are usually small things

We are so grateful for the wonderful care my dad receives. The staff are truly amazing-kind, caring, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. The home itself is warm and welcoming, with excellent facilities that make it feel comfortable and homely. Moving dad into a care home wasn't easy, but the staff made the settling-in process so much easier for both my dad and our family during what was a very stressful time. We can't thank them enough for their compassion, support, and dedication. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for exceptional care.

Many staff have worked there for a long time and the continuity of care is excellent ,which is very important for the residents and their families.

I would have no issue recommending Hall Grange to anyone who might be looking for a care home for a loved one.

The staff are very kind, caring and helpful. They always treated Marion with respect and dignity. I was grateful that staff attended the funeral at the crematorium and the Thanksgiving Service. Thank you all for your care.

My aunt finally , after a couple of falls , agreed that she could no longer live on her own. So pleased that she's in David's House, always somebody about either talking to the residents or sitting with them or escorting them somewhere or crafting etc with them. It's always clean, nobody is ignored. My aunts room is always nice and tidy, they threw a fantastic 100th birthday party for her. David's House is lovely and " homely " lots of personal touches pictures, ornaments etc. . Every member of staff is extremely approachable and helpful.

Very happy with the care my dad got. Staff are excellent. Manager excellent. My dad is very settled and happy.

Mums room was light, cosy and always smelt nice. The lounge and dining areas spacious with easy access. There are beautiful gardens available to wonder around which we all enjoyed very much, especially in the spring and summer. Mum seemed to enjoy the food with puddings being her favourite. The weekly "Fun Fridays"were quite an experience with staff joining in singing and dancing. We appreciate all that was done to care for Mum.

My mum had been a resident in Bluebell for the last four years. During that time all staff, without exception, treated my mum with care, dignity and understanding. The staff in Bluebell became my mums second family and it meant that our worries about mums safety, hygiene, meals, activities and quality of life were all catered for. Mums room was light and airy, we put her own little bits of furniture, pictures and ornaments in her room to make it more homely and individual. The room was always cleaned to a high standard and smelt fresh. The communal living areas are spacious and again bright and light, exactly what the residents need. There are new staff members doing the activities at the home now, who are beyond fantastic, creating relevant daily activities from painting, making things, baking, spending time in the garden planting, bingo, singing and fun Friday celebrations. An absolute asset to the Hall Grange team, especially important to residents with dementia to keep them active.

Our family member has settled in very well staff always make time for him . His extended family in Ireland his sister etc very happy & his children also very happy along with myself . He couldn't be anywhere better . Thank you so much .
