I started in the care home as a volunteer recently and all the staff were very kind and welcoming, introducing me to all the residents. All the residents here are very nice and the activities coordinator tries his best to keep everyone happy and entertained - having weekly karaoke sessions which all the residents love (they love singing and dancing). The care home has a schedule for weekly activities and organise activities such as arts and crafts, going to the garden and performances on certain days. Residents also have personalised pictures of family and friends and decorations in their rooms to help them feel comfortable.

The only minor negative point is that we had a miscommunication about the discharge date. We were under the impression that the discharge date was 4.8.26. The staff thought it was 3.8.26. We were not told about it.

My Mother has been extremely well cared for at Riverview Lodge since the 1st of November 2022. When breaking her hip forced a decision to no longer live independently. Her room is very pleasant with a garden view and the regular sound of birdsong coming through the window. The carers and support staff are very good and they engage well with her in conversation as well as providing practical care. It has been wonderful that she has adjusted to calling Riverview 'her house' and 'goes home' to her room - a real tribute to the lovely atmosphere.

Every single member of staff is friendly, compassionate, and caring towards Dad and us as a family. We know that Dad is getting the best care from the staff and is very well looked after, giving us peace of mind.
