My husband has been here five weeks and has settled really well. He loves being able to get into the garden and has enjoyed the activities we are a family feel very happy with everything. Staff are so friendly and approachable.

As a new resident in the care system, I was concerned my wife wouldn't adjust. Thankfully the staff, management and overall attitude toward residents has been wonderful. It takes lots of patience to look after someone with cerebral issues, however, I needn't have worried. My wife has adjusted and been very happy at Homestead!

The Homestead is a lovely clean home. The manager's & staff are all very friendly & helpful. Mum has a lovely big room, & she enjoys the activities, she enjoys the food too. She has made some new friends too, she has settled in now thank you all x

We would like to express our heart felt Thanks to the Dedicated team that cared for my mother on a daily basis, we would like to especially thank the staff that were on duty the day / evening when my mother passed away, they showed care and compassion, treating my mother with dignity and respect at a very sad and emotional time. My mother passed away in an environment that became her home surrounded by her family. The staff gave us privacy but were close to hand if we needed anything. We really appreciated the sandwiches, snacks and drinks that were supplied by the home at the time. Once again we cannot thank all the staff enough for all that they have done, we are very grateful.

From the first day we walked into The Homestead we felt welcomed and reassured. All the staff were warm and friendly, regardless of their role or the floor on which they worked. Mum's room, on floor 2 was kept clean and tidy. She was so well-cared for, always a member of staff on hand to guide her when she was confused, and always with kindness, compassion and respect.Mum's physical health and dementia were unpredictable but the great management team and care staff sought every possible way, together with the NHS, to support mum and maintain her safety. They managed her high pain levels so well she was able to say 'I'm happy, I feel I've come alive again' which gave us great comfort. Sadly, mum passed away after only 7 weeks at The Homestead but we are comforted by the knowledge that her final weeks were spent in such a caring and homely environment.

It's a place where residents thrive and families find peace of mind. Highly recommend.

I have both my mother and father in-law at the Homestead. Upon every visit we find all the members of staff and management to be very welcoming and polite. Although my in-laws require different levels of care, I have full confidence in the care come and all the staff with meeting their needs. I highly recommend The Homestead to any one and would like to thank everyone for their hard work, care and support given to my in-laws and our family.

If all care homes were like this the world would be a much better place. Everything has been better than I could believe possible. The staff and management have, without exception, been friendly, caring and professional and have always gone the extra mile to do the best for my mother-in-law and her visitors.

I cannot express our thanks and gratefulness to each and every member of MHA The Homestead, Carterton. The most professional, caring, hardworking team who prioritise the health and happiness of every resident. Mum's carers treat her with respect and love and we are so lucky to have had Mum accepted here as a resident. The team leaders and the general manager are always approachable, knowledgeable, welcoming and kind. The catering staff have been wonderful. The facility is always spotless, and the ambience is magical. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead.

The care for my mum has been exceptional. Outstanding in every respect. All staff have been superb without exception, too many to mention, but all so important to us.

Every single moment spent in The Homestead has been just magical. There is no task too big or too small for the staff to ensure my grandmother's stay. Simply the best care home with world-class management and staff. I will forever be grateful for all they have done for my nan and her family.

The staff have been completely supportive and helpful throughout, I would say 'outstanding'. A very caring and understanding approach to the family during this difficult time.

I moved my brother 3 years ago, it was the best thing I ever did. He has put on weight and can now hold a conversation. I cannot express how grateful I am for the care and attention that all the staff give. I'm always contacted if there is anything they are concerned about. We can visit at any time and are allowed to take him out on days out. All the staff are friendly and very approachable. There is always something going on for the residents whether it be days out or other social events. I can definitely recommend this home.

The Homestead is an excellent care home, the staff are outstanding and it is spotless. It is run in a fantastic manner like a cruise ship. One staff member in particular has the skills to work at Buckingham Palace, it is so sparkling thank you, it gives me comfort to know it is so clean. All the staff get a 5 star from me, they support both my parents and myself. The manager is alert and thorough, all his staff are switched on. The food is made freshly every day, it is nutritional. It is a happy place, all the staff are friendly l thank you so much for taking care of my beloved parents.

My mother is very happy at the Homestead and the staff are amazing. They go above and beyond. Recently my mother had her 90th birthday and the staff made sure she and the family had a wonderful day. She is well looked after and the communication between the Homestead and myself, her son, is excellent.

The Homestead is a wonderful place for my Father to live out his last few years. They are caring, and respectful and work so hard to keep him stimulated by laying on all sorts of activities. He is warm, well-fed fed, and well-looked after with regular visits from doctors and other medical support people. A particular staff member is incredible and a great leader and I have never had a single issue in over 2 years. Keep up the good work guys.

Great care for all residents. You can speak to the staff easily about any concerns and they keep in touch to tell us about any issues with Dad. Excellent care. Very pleased with how Dad has settled into this care home because they interact with him so well that he's very happy too.

The staff constantly engages with residents, there are many activities, and they demonstrate kindness and understanding.
