We have been extremely impressed by all the love and care Starr Hills has shown my grandparents since they became residents here. The staff have gone above and beyond to cater for their needs and have been helpful, approachable and friendly. We are truly grateful for their kindness, my grandparents

I had a friend who was residing in Starr Hills for 3 years; she was 103 when she passed. I have been a volunteer for a year. I find the home friendly caring clean. lots of actvities and stimulation. All residents seem happy. I enjoy working here.

Walking in to Star Hill is like home from home, eveyone is like extended family, and the staff are amazing, the care and facilities are above and beyond any expectations for a care home, dignity and respect is shown throughout the home.
Can't forget to mention the food, it is fantastic such variety.
The system in place for the laundry works so well.
This home has a great house keeping team too.
The Activities provided are of a high standered and well thought out for each person there is somthing happening throughout the day for everyone if they wish to join in

I have a friend who is a resident of Starr Hills. He went there after a traumatic period in his life, following a series of illnesses. The staff and care has been amazing and he is now feeling much better. He still needs the ongoing care and support but he is so much more confident and most importantly
he feels safe.

My mother moved to Starr Hills Autumn 2025 and remains there. The move itself went smoothly because of the help and guidance received from Philippa and her staff. We looked around a number of homes before deciding on Starr Hills and we remain confident our choice was correct.
The premises are always
spotless. The staff are not just friendly, they know your name, they know mum and say what she has been doing. The quality of the care and carer staff is incredible.
Mum has always enjoyed good food and is constantly pleased with the menu, service and food quality.
Events for residents take place several times a week, often twice a day. The facilities are excellent with cafe, cinema, shop, library, lift, garden, community lounge, hairdressing and nails professionally attended to. Access for family and friends is easy and visitors are made very welcome.
Philippa and team run an excellent, professional and friendly service and provide good family communication.
Well done Starr View.

Starr Hills is a wonderful care home. They welcome me to support their residents during activities and enjoy wholesome afternoons with other professionals supporting music and mindfulness, a regular singer, coffee morning, summer fayre etc. The residents are happy and comfortable and it's rewarding

I have been coming to Starr Hills for just over 18 months every week, to visit a friend I became a volunteer. Because everybody is so lovely friendly and professional. It is run so well! Always spotless, food brilliant! Residents tell me how happy they are staying here best choice they ever made! I
can't praise it enough I look forward to coming in on Tuesdays. The staff are impeccable I tell all my friend how wonderful it is!

Star Hills is an outstanding care home in every way. What a relief to find a home that takes such good care of its residents. Families can rest knowing loved ones are well cared for and happy. Smiling faces everywhere, great communication with other professionals when needed. Manager Phillipa is wonderful
and leads her staff as a wonderful role model. The home is well organised, professional and compassionate. Family are always made welcome, and facilities are great. The food is brilliant, very high standard, and the activities are great, 10/10 in all areas.

Not once in the past two months have I found any fault with the staff, I visit every morning and at no time have I found any faults with the staff, in my opinion they go above within duties. I cannot express my appreciation for the care given to my partner.

I was so worried about my mum going into care and Phillipa and her team made the process of her moving in so calm, professional and caring. I absolutely am over the moon with the love and care she has received. I'm so happy we picked this one, it's beautiful.

The staff could not have been more pleasant, helpful or friendly if they had been looking after their own grandad. Food has been excellent with a varied menu. Too much pork for me personally. The entertainment has been fun and informative. If the need arises would I come back, yes!

Our dad has been a resident at Starr Hills since Oct 2024. Following a 3 month stay in hospital last year, he had lost the ability (and confidence) to walk and still hadn't made a full recovery prior to arriving at Starr Hills. In the first few weeks the improvement in our dad's health was nothing short
of a miracle. He went from strength to strength. The care and support he received from all the staff was incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Dad loved it so much that he decided not to return to his house and to make Starr Hills his new home. That care and support has continued and now he can walk as fast as me albeit with a walker. He is happy, well and content. He takes part in the activities which he really enjoys and appreciates the friendships he has made with both carers and residents. Our family will always be eternally grateful to Starr Hills as without them we are not sure he would have fully recovered. You have all given him a new lease of life and we couldn't be happier
