Starr Hills has been a perfect home for my second cousin. The staff are friendly, caring, very competent and the staffing levels are first class. The members of staff have obviously taken time to get to know the residents and this shows in their understanding of individual needs and the easy relationship
between staff and residents. Food is excellent and the menu varied. The home is always very clean and comfortable. The programme of events and talks for the residents is first class and my second cousin particularly the history talks.

What a lovely comment. We are very lucky to have such lovely caring staff. With the help of our activities co-ordinator and our chaplain, we have a rich and varied programme of events. My Mum lives at Starr Hills. Given her age and physical fragility, I was very concerned about the outbreak of the Coronavirus and especially how it would affect residents of care homes. I was delighted by the response of the manager and the staff. Their vigilance at such a difficult time was exemplary
and I am delighted with how the team handled the crisis. The fact that there have been no cases of Covid at Starr Hill is not an accident, it is because the right people with the right management were in the right place and I am very grateful to them all.

Starr Hills has been a great care home for my nan. Since her stroke, she's needed a wheelchair, constant care and is sometimes not herself. But the care workers here always respond very kindly to her and are patient when she's confused or has misunderstood. She can sometimes be picky but the food served
is always up to her high standards, and if she doesn't want something she is always offered great alternatives. She is a bit of a handful but the staff are always lovely with her and I know she's in good hands. Especially now during the pandemic, they're constantly updating their social media with how all the residents are doing and all the entertainment available to them while they're stuck inside!

My mum has been living at Starr Hills for the last 5 months and it was the best decision we have made. Mum is looked after so well by all the staff and we really appreciate the extra mile they go to, ensuring all the residents enjoy a good quality of life. They work very hard to put together weekly
activities to appeal to all the residents and there is an excellent atmosphere throughout the home. All the residents are treated with dignity by all the staff. Mum is so happy at Starr Hills and this is paramount to our family. Cannot recommend Starr Hills highly enough.

My mother moved into Starr Hills in January and has been made very welcome and has settled in nicely. Staff are very caring, cheerful and make every effort to ensure residents are well cared for. There is a big focus on excellent food and lots of activities for residents to participate in if they wish.
Mum is very happy and I feel glad that she is in safe hands.

My Mum is at Starr Hills and has been for a couple of years now. She is 102 years old and they look after her brilliantly. She tells me she is happy there and that they take good care of her. When she needed to go into a care home I thought I would worry about her all the time, but I know she is looked
after so well at Starr Hills that I don't need to worry. During the coronavirus crisis, all the staff have been incredible, keeping the residents safe and entertained throughout. They are doing a wonderful job.

We look on the team at Starr Hills as an extension to our family.
COV 19 has meant we can’t physically get to meet mum, but the creative and innovative approach from the team has meant we regularly see mum on Facebook, home services, at residence meetings, and of course one on one zoom sessions. It’s
been great.
The team also take great care around residents piece and state of mind, always putting them first, always going that extra mile to give the most appropriate support and emotional stability.
The accommodation is good and well maintained, the food quality and choice is superb, the cleanliness is great.
There are bound to be issues that come up, however, each one dealt with and addressed without fuss and in a timely manner.
I can’t say enough about the staff but suffice it to say we have no concerns and know they have mums best interest at heart, they have our best interests in the mix, and ultimately mum is really happy, content and safe.

When entering Starr Hills, the welcome to the resident, family and friends is genuine. Management to staff have the ability to make you feel at home. You feel they care. There is a stimulating programme of activities which friends have enjoyed. The programme encourages them to leave their rooms and
meet other people. If you are nervous, you are given time to adjust. The most has been made of an old adapted building, you are still in someone's home.
After treatment in hospital, my friend said, "thank goodness I'm going home".

Mum has been in the care home for just over 4 months. She has very recently lost her husband. The care and support she is receiving from all members of staff and other residents is second to none. We know she is in a supportive and loving environment during this difficult and sad time.

My mother was only in Starr Hills at Lytham St Annes for a shorter period than planned but she and I were very happy with the care and consideration she received from all members of staff, including kitchen staff during her stay. She was treated with dignity, respect and kindness at all times. I would

This is a very good care home, my friend is very happy and really feels looked after. The staff are all caring and very attentive. Her health has improved so much since she became a resident in the spring of this year. They have loads of activities so there is always something to do, often more than

Starr Hills delivers on all fronts. The standard of care is consistently high, thoughtful and dignified. The staff know and understand the residents as individuals and always deal with them appropriately. There is always a calm and relaxed feel around the home. The range of activities on offer every

Starr Hills Residential Home is managed and run by consummate professionals who are resident centred, respectful, obliging, understanding and compassionate. My Father-in-Law (95yrs ) has been a resident for over 6 years and has received five-star treatment throughout his stay, all the staff have built
a fantastic relationship with him and understand him and his personal needs. His health is deteriorating and all in the home have rallied round to support him and address his every need during this difficult time. The Manager and all her staff are a credit to the organisation and I would have no hesitation in recommending Starr Hills and MHA as a care provider.

As I work with care of the elderly, I have been round so many residential care homes.
My Aunt has had respite care at 2 different homes but I was not happy with them.
After a friend's recommendation, I viewed Starr Hills and was very impressed with the staff, activities, food and the overall 'feel'
of the place.
My Aunt has now been there for 18 months and every time we go to see her, we say she looks 10 years younger.
She is so happy there, has made some lovely friends, has a great rapport with staff and loves it.
