First class. 10 out of 10. I'm very spoilt.
Every member of staff treats the residents with care and respect, and nothing is too much trouble - they are always on hand to help and support.
The home is extremely well managed, and on a number of occasions, the staff have advised how they 'love working' there and love their job! This shows!
Thank you to every member of staff for making Dad's new home warm and welcoming - I couldn't ask for more.
The staff at Willersley House make it a warm, welcoming and very friendly environment. The hard working and dedicated team are consistently patient, kind and understanding, showing great respect for those in their care. A weekly programme of lovely activities is provided - and church services and hymn singing sessions make this the perfect place for Mum. She is very well fed, very well cared for and is happy and content. Our heartfelt and grateful thanks go to all the staff who go the extra mile to make Willersley House 'home from home' for Mum.
Staff always welcoming and friendly. No request too much visiting is like visiting your relative at their own home.
Mum and I both found Willersley House to be friendly and welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere, a very homely care home. With morning and afternoon activities and good meals, there is an excellent daily routine. But the best thing about Willersley House is the staff. Everybody was absolutely lovely to mum (and other residents), where she was treated with genuine care and friendship. The carers, office staff, chaplain and other staff often went the extra mile. Thank you.
Willersley House was a perfect home for my mother. The staff made us feel comfortable, very caring, attentive, and could not find fault in any area. We would recommend this home.
The home has recently had a complete makeover. Fully painted, new carpets and furniture all to a high level. The residents and visitors appreciate all the work done to make the residents stay, a happy one. The staff and management are marvelous and patient and can't do enough to help. As a family member I am very happy with the way the home is run.
My mother became a resident at Willersley House at the age of 100 and stayed for 14 months. Her en-suite room was comfortable, cosy and warm. She often told me of her complete satisfaction with the level of care, support and friendliness of staff. My mum formed a close friendship with another centenarian. She was happy at WH. The Manager of WH was highly professional and maintained a consistently high profile within the care home, both for residents and visitors. The welfare of the residents was paramount for her and her staff. I found her and her staff to be very kind and helpful to my mother. Highly recommended.
I visit Willersley House regularly as the resident's family lives away. I always find the staff very helpful. It's always clean and inviting. As the resident often doesn't want to mix with other residents, the staff often encourage the person to do so. However, my overall experience is more than acceptable, even though on occasions, particularly weekends, seem to be less staff.
I have been involved with Willersley House since it was just a dream in the mind of some local Methodists. I have seen that dream become a reality and seen it adapted to their people with greater needs. I believe that it makes great efforts to meet the needs of current residents. I feel this staff express true caring in all they do - some are exceptional. As a visitor I am always made to feel welcome.
Mum is comfortable and well cared for. The staff are attentive and caring. Her room is pleasant and she tends to stay in her room most of the time. The senior staff are very responsive to feedback and take the initiative when mum has problems. The atmosphere is very pleasant.
I sleep much better than at home. I feel safe and looked after
A great 'home' for my cousin with loyal and caring staff. We have always trusted the team and know they do the best, often in difficult and busy time. The property and gardens create a homely place to be, and we wouldn't go any where else. We are in safe professional hands and we respect and thank the team for their hard work. Thank you all.
The team at Willersley House are a close knit team of experts who care about their residents. They also support relatives and carers very well with easy access to managers and carers as required. The property is grand with good well placed spaces for activities and socialising both in groups and in private. The cares are great part of making people feel at home. The food is ok I understand, not heard any negative comments - apparently it is nice to see the chef!. Thank you for looked after our cousin in a home she chose and is happy in.
I've been visiting my friend for many years at Willersley House and I can honestly say what a fantastic place this is. the home is not only run professionally and in a safe way, but the staff go above and beyond to make you feel warm and welcome. Couldn't rate high enough!
I came to visit my auntie and I can honestly say the home is so beautiful, the new garden is a more than welcome addition. The staff were welcoming, warm and friendly, and it was nice to see the manager helping a resident. Great job, team.
Respectful of Dad's needs and illness - vascular dementia is a mostly cruel illness - we appreciate everything Willersley House does for all family members/friends.
Staff at Willersley are kind and caring and know the residents, always referring to them by name. While I accept that my mum always cooked with fresh ingredients when she lived at home, she is on the whole very disappointed by the standard/variety of food at meal times. The soup and sandwich menu offering causes upset along with meat - chicken, beef, fish etc. and some of the vegetable servings. Staffing in the kitchen also appears to be a problem.
Thank you for your review. I am delighted that you find our team kind and caring and know the residents. I am sorry that your mum finds the food disappointing. It would be useful to meet with you to discuss specific concerns so that these can be addressed and improvements made. We always value feedback so that we can give the best possible care to all of our residents.
Here for respite with a view to permanent! My only regret is I didn't come sooner.
I moved into Willersley House this year and I could not be happier. A lovely home and the staff are wonderful!
