Visit my close friend regularly and whilst she has had a health decline staff have gone above and beyond, she is very well cared for.
I am very happy here, and the staff are lovely and caring.
Willersley House continues to maintain its usual high standards to an exemplary degree. The staff are very polite and courteous and are great ambassadors for Willersley House. The atmosphere and general ambience displays all the hallmarks of a five-star care home. Well done staff!
Overall my experience visiting my mum, since she moved into Willersley House in March, has been excellent. The care, support and staff are first class making her feel really supported and safe. Their friendliness has had a huge impact on Mum's settling in. Plenty of activities to keep her amused and occupied. She initially had a few issues with food as she is a vegetarian but after a few discussions, she is content with the food. A very well-run home.
Visited my mother-in-law twice since she recently moved into Willersley House. Pleased to see a friendly welcome from the staff on duty who greeted my mother-in-law by name. A programme of activities was available throughout the week for residents to attend if they wish, I didn't witness any myself. Cleanliness appeared good, can't comment on the food. My mother-in-law reports that the staff are lovely and the food is good. She appreciates the religious services held regularly at the home.
My aunt moved to Willersley House from another care home where we had issues with the standard of care being provided. The staff at Willersley were brilliant in helping us make the move as quickly as possible. Now my aunt has settled in at Willersley she is so much happier. She loves the food and all the activities which she enjoys. The standard of care being provided is excellent.
My mum enjoys the activities and the services.
The food is a hit too, she really enjoys it - eating things she's not eaten for years!
We are very happy to hear your mum enjoys the food, activities and services here at Willersey House as it is our great pleasure to be able to care for and support her as she enjoys her later life. Thank you again.
A beautiful home, everyone is very friendly, very clean, no smells. A choice of two meals, bedrooms are excellently thought out for residents, a lovely playroom; entertainment twice a day every day, great facilities - beautiful grounds. No strict visiting. Management and staff are always available. All residents are very happy. A home from home.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete this review. Your positive comments are lovely to hear I will be sure to share these with the team at Willersley House. It is our pleasure to support and care for you, we are so happy you have settled in and are happy. Thank you again.
The overall experience was outstanding. Mum needed respite care at short notice after a bad fall. The management and staff could not have been more obliging or professional. Mum was treated with dignity and kindness throughout her short stay.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review, I am very grateful for your kind words and will be sure to share them with my team. It was our pleasure to support mum during her stay with us and a privilege to contribute in a small way to her confidence and recovery. Please send her our best wishes. Thank you again.
The care given to my aunt has been first-class. The staff are caring, professional and deliver excellent service. Would highly recommend this care home.
Excellent service, staff very friendly and helpful. They telephone with updates when I cannot visit or if there are any problems this is the best care home I have visited.
Willersley House is a lovely place to live. My mum has been there a month now and has settled in so well. She feels very much at home in her room, surrounded by furniture she was able to take with her. She looks forward to the meals and is full of praise for her carers, who treat her with respect, kindness and warmth. Visitors are always welcome and never made to feel they're getting in the way. There are lots of daily activities on offer for residents to join in with if they wish, and there's always someone around with time for a chat - no one need feel lonely there! The rooms are bright and clean, and the atmosphere generally is that of a big happy family. I am so pleased we found Willersley.
Mum was in Willersley House for two years and then Covid hit. She really enjoyed the home, especially the activities and going out. With Covid, she was unhappy so came to live with me. However, after two years she wanted to return to the home which she did in October 2021. Unfortunately, four or more of the senior team had left and so did the chef. Standards were affected but now have been restored to their exceptionally high standard. Credit to all staff.
Lovely friendly caring home - approach to all in the home is excellent.
Welcoming, warm, caring and sympathetic. Thourough and efficient 24/7. Respect for privacy. Reliable daily routine. Secure and safe ambience where you can relax. Open to all visitors but maybe needs easier access to qualified medics. Good activity programme choices.
I have been on "holiday" for a fortnight's stay. Found the staff friendly and so much help to the residents.
Very, very friendly staff - warm and welcoming. The room was basic but clean. They all (staff) looked after Mum from start to finish. Although Mum was confused initial, she settled in and, in fact, will be spending another period shortly.
My mother's health and well-being have improved while being a resident at Willersley House. The staff are cheerful and caring.
A lovely, homely atmosphere in a beautiful, well-maintained building. All staff, whatever their role, are friendly and respectful to the residents and each other. Any concerns staff or I have regarding Mum are happily discussed and an action plan is agreed upon and acted on. Mum continues to be supported in settling in in her new home of four months and staff understand how hard it can be moving into a residential home. The activities are very well organised and residents involved in choosing upcoming events and whether to take part on the day.
His only complaint is that sometimes there is too much food, and he can't always finish it all!
