From day one, the care and ethos of the home was a pleasant experience for my mum, she was treated as one of the family, and always took mums religion seriously, even during Welsh services (the chaplain was amazing).

From the moment my wife was admitted, the team demonstrated an extraordinary level of professionalism and dedication. Every carer and all the support staff treated her not just as a resident but as a person with dignity, patience, and genuine kindness.
They took the time to explain all the care that
was given clearly and always answered our questions in detail. Always ensured she was comfortable.
It was the warmth in their approach, the reassuring words during difficult moments, and the small gestures that made a big difference.
I'm deeply grateful for the way they supported both of us through this experience. Their care gave us peace of mind and made a challenging time feel a little lighter. Thank you for going above and beyond.

My mother-in-law's stay at Fitzwarren House has been brilliant. She was clearly happy there & the staff were amazing. We felt completely reassured of her health, safety and wellbeing. They definitely go above & beyond with their care. Although mum has just passed, we will always be there to help & support
the home in any way we can. We could not fault them. Excellent.

The staff have been extremely attentive and caring to dad over the last 2 years. They have time to sit with him and encourage him if that is what is required. They are careful and thorough with personal hygiene and all with patience and understanding through difficult times.

My father received exemplary care during his year in FW House. The staff are professional but just as importantly caring and compassionate. This means everything to the family who place their loved one in their care.
Dad was happy and relaxed and enjoyed his final year of life thanks you the care provided
by FW House.

My father stayed in FW nursing home for 1 year. FW is exceptional, it really is. The nurses, the carers, the cleaners, everyone - has been fantastic. Dad was really happy there and as a family we could not have asked for more.

My dad had respite care for 3 weeks. All the staff have a genuine love of their work and are full of kindness and respect towards my dad, who has Parkinson's. The accommodation was lovely. Varied menu choices and quality dishes. Dad thoroughly enjoyed his stay.

My mum came to this care home in October 2024. Although it is still a fairly recent admission to make a more detailed review, based on my experience on visits to my mum so far, she is settling in well and is starting to feel relaxed and happy in her new surroundings. The staff are always very friendly
and helpful and the facilities plus the food and activities are of a high standard.

My dad came to this care home in July and we cannot believe the improvement in him. He a much happier person and treated so kindly by everyone here. They take the time to listen and help. Nothing is too much trouble. Everything is of very high standard but the personal touch is second to none!

Fitzwarren House is a clean homely environment with decent range of facilities.
I cannot speak highly enough of staff dedication to their work. All demonstrate kindness and compassion towards residents, and encourage interaction in activities, and not forgetting those behind scenes who ensure everything
runs smoothly. There's always contact between visits with any relevant updates on mum's condition, which is reassuring. Key to wellbeing is being treated with dignity, and my observations and her behaviour suggest this is satisfied.

Mum is very happy here and has a lovely group of friends that she spends time with daily. There is an social medial group that keeps families up to date with photos of all the activities mum is involved in and she's attends pretty much all of them. The staff are lovely and I couldn't wish for a better
group of people to care for her. All of the staff in the care home are friendly and approachable and helpful at all times. I would highly recommend Fitzwarren house and my mum would definitively match my recommendation.

Not only am I the POA to the resident, I am also the Goddaughter. I have a major commitment to my own frail mother which takes much of my time. Having the Manager and her team at Fitzwarren House caring for the complex needs of my Godmother. I can rest knowing all her needs are being fulfilled 100%.
Having
placed another dear friend in the same home six years ago, I couldn't have been happier that Fitzwarren House was able to care for another resident who was also my responsibility. Fitzwarren House has high standards, the standards we want for people we care about.
