My mother has always had excellent care at Montpellier Manor. The staff are helpful and compassionate and nothing is too much for them. Whilst Mum does not take part in any activities I am fully aware that there is a full range of activities for the residents.

Over the years staff have come and gone but I have always found that the care and assistance given to their residents has always been first class. As Mum's dementia progressed and her needs became greater, these were met by moving to the third floor. At every stage I felt consulted and informed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Montpellier Manor. I only wish my parents were staying permanently, as I know they would be looked after. Mum loved the decor, purple is her favourite colour! Mum just wished there were a few more residents on the ground floor who were able to hold a conversation with her, as Mum's brain is still working perfectly! We all loved her garden room, and Dad loved his sunny and very warm room. I only hope Mum and Dad are able to return if they need to. Thank you for looking after them.

Probably the best decision me and mam have ever made It's made a massive difference to my mam's life - and ours. It's like a 5-star resort: excellent food, excellent entertainment, and absolutely immaculate.
My mam was reluctant to leave her flat at first. We had to make up an excuse, telling her that me and my brother had accidentally booked a holiday that crossed over leaving her alone. But after just five hours of mam staying there, she asked to stay for good.
And that's when we got our mam back. No longer the lady who was wasting away with dementia, not caring, sleeping all day, or going to bed and not getting up. The change has been incredible.
Highly recommended.

Today is the day I go home, and as much as I want to go home, I will miss every part of my stay. For someone who is thinking about what care home, the only one to stay is Montpellier Manor. I have made friends for life, and when I settled at home, I am coming back to keep in touch. If this were a hotel, I would give it 5*.
