Montpellier Manor

Although my mam's stay was brief, she was cared for very well. She was encouraged to take part in activities and eventually came to love being a resident. Thank you for everything you did for my mum.

When Mum decided it was time to go into a home in January 2024 we toured many homes looking for the best option. As soon as Mum walked into Montpellier Manor, she knew it was the one and we were proven absolutely correct. Throughout her stay there Mum received exceptional care. The staff could really not do any more for her. The facilities were excellent, enhanced by the re-opening of the public serving cafe in March. The home is always kept very clean and beautifully decorated, laundry is collected and returned on a daily basis, the dining and menu options were extensive, a huge choice of activities and services which residents can elect to join in or not, but what made the home stand out above all others was the caring and attentive nature of all of the staff across the board. The management deserve a particular mention as it is clear that their wonderful attitude towards caring for the sick and/or elderly pervades at every level.

I, personally, will be forever grateful for the support given to me by the home's manager at the time of my mum's passing. Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion at a time when I needed it the most. It was greatly appreciated.

I am extremely pleased with the care my mother receives at Montpellier Manor Care Home. The home itself is very clean and well cared for at all times. The staff are pleasant and courteous no matter what time of day or what circumstances. They are never too busy to deal with any query I may have.

The overall atmosphere at Montpellier is lovely and I'm very happy with the care my mother receives.

My mother has been a resident for the last 18 months. It became her home and she was very happy there. If she had a fall I got a phone call immediately. If she was unwell, the same. Her final days were treated with respect, dignity and more importantly - love. I can't thank the carers and staff enough. They were just amazing.

The food needs some improvement and was a constant source of frustration for my Dad and other residents and there were no organised trips out while he was there for over a year, which was a shame. Apart from that, we were very happy with his care and would highly recommend Montpellier Manor as a safe and loving place for your loved one.

First time for Mum to have respite care and it couldn't have been any better. Very impressive accommodation together with friendly and caring staff.

I want to add that one of the carers, concurred - in respect of the ingredients of the meal provided. She advised us that she would draw our dissatisfaction to the attention of the catering staff at the earliest opportunity.

The staff were always fully supportive of both Mum and our whole family and also friends who visited at any time. We can not thank them sufficiently for giving us all such peace of mind at such a difficult time. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Care Home for your loved ones.

My mum was taken care of superbly at Montpellier Manor. She suffered with dementia and was very frail at 94 years old. There aren't sufficient words to describe the excellent care, the staff were also very supportive and caring towards me and the other members of our family. This has given not just my dear mum the best possible last few days of her life but also the family great comfort.

The care my father received while at Montpellier was second to none. Both the care staff and management were excellent, in fact, Dad looked at them as friends.

We are pleased that we chose Montpellier Manor as a care home for my mother. She has been there a year now. We looked at a lot of care homes, Montpellier stands out from the rest. The building is laid out in a good way for the residents. It's bright and beautiful too. What I like about it is there are plenty of staff and activities and in general a good feel in the place. The staff all work hard and help me to feel okay about leaving my mother there. If I have a problem or a concern I can ask the staff for help. Overall happy with this care home. Well done to everyone.

I cannot speak more highly of my mum's care home. Not only is the place beautiful, clean and comfortable, the staff are kind, welcoming and thoughtful. From the administrators, carers, activities and housekeeping and maintenance staff you can see how much they know and care for the residents. My mum is happy and seen. We as a family, enjoy visiting and spending time with her here.

My father has lived here for four years. The staff are fantastic, very adaptable to his needs, polite and always wiling to listen or help family also.

My husband moved into Montpellier Manor 8 months ago and his care has been so reassuring for me. Everyone involved with the running of the home, management, housekeeping, activities, catering and the carers have been lovely, treating my husband with respect and involving me in any decisions that have been needed.

Special mention to the activity coordinators who ensure that all residents are included and made to feel welcome.

However the biggest factor by a mile is the team who work there - I have had nothing but warm, caring and helpful exchanges with everyone including carers, seniors, the housekeeping team, maintenance, reception, catering, activities, and managers - everyone has been amazing and very responsive to any question or request.

Having visited a dear friend for the first time yesterday with my partner, I was impressed on first impressions. The ambience was conducive to calm and tranquillity. Her room was spacious and all facilities were present. When her tablet needed charging, the receptionist was all too ready to accommodate my requests. We only stayed an hour, but intend to visit weekly when I can be more constructive if necessary.
