My mum has been resident at Pennystone Court for over 12 months. The care she has received has been outstanding. The staff are all professional, kind, supportive, and so engaging with mun. They keep her occupied, and she looks healthy, and any changes that occur in her presentation are reported to me immediately. This gives me confidence in their capabilities, and I am now able to be 'daughter again', a complete change from being an 'exhausted carer' when she was at home.

My mum was a resident at Pennystone Court for 3 yrs up to her passing away in March 2026 and, during her time there, I was extremely happy with all aspects of her care. Indeed, in hindsight, asking them to care for my mum was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff are simply marvellous, nothing is too much trouble which was reflected in the care and compassion they showed when looking after my mum during her final days. Nothing but praise

What a difference a year makes! This time last year I was desperate to find a loving care home for my sister. After many searches within the local area we found Pennystone Court. In this last year my sister has been given the best care possible, delivered by the most loving people you could ever meet. My sister is now very settled in a loving home from home. All her needs are delivered in comfortable, safe and secure conditions. She is able to enjoy a range of activities, or if so desired, spend quiet moments to reflect. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

What a lovely time for my Mum to be at Pennystone Court. Staff go above and beyond to make all residents feel included and special, especially over the Christmas period. The care and love all staff show the residents, including my Mum, are second to none. Real home from home. Thank you to all the staff and management. Wonderful place.

My father has been here for 18 months and has thrived at Pennystone. His physical and mental health have improved due to the fantastic care, the stimulation and the love that he receives here every day. We feel so fortunate that he is here and that he is so happy here. We have recommended Pennystone to friends for their parents, and they too have been impressed.

I couldn't have asked for more. There was a very warm welcome on admission from all the staff, including: management, hairdresser, Activities Coordinator, kitchen staff, chaplain, senior carers, carers, domestics, laundry lady, maintenance man, everyone introduced themselves. They were aware my mum was blind, so they got close, told her where things are placed. All staff have continued to help with the settling-in process. There is a real sense of family/community and working together for the residents. Support has been offered and appreciated for myself. Thank you.

My mum sadly had to leave Pennystone Court to move to a nursing home. What sets a home aside is the support and care that it provides not just at the beginning of care but also at the end. Mum had an acute event - the amazing staff managed it extremely quickly and attentively which made a big difference. Residents at Pennystone and their family members are truly viewed and treated as family. It's not just that all the staff genuinely care but also that they are dedicated to the work they do. It's not just a job for the folks at Pennystone - it's clearly something they are passionate about. Mum was heartbroken to leave and I have to say, so were we. We will miss the wonderful team and can only thank them for everything.

I knew from within 5 minutes of walking through the front door on a site tour that I had found the right place for my mum. High standards of care and caring rather than the lip service I observed at a couple of other homes while doing my due diligence. A highly recommended 5 stars.

I have been very happy with every aspect of Mum's care at Pennystone Court. Mum has mixed dementia and was a resident with Pennystone for three years until her health required nursing care. The building is modern, recently refurbished, and secure. The caring team are professional, respectful, and patient. The accommodation and public areas are kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. Mum's personal hygiene was well catered for with freshly laundered bedding and clothes. There was an excellent choice of fresh food from the kitchen, a food hygiene rating of 5. The in-house hair and nails salon is excellent. The entertainment and activities are varied inclusive and numerous. A lovely sunny and secure outdoor area is available. I would recommend PSC to any person in need of residential care.

My Mum has now been a resident at Pennystone Court for six years. Overall that time she has been extremely well cared for and looked after by the wonderful carers who have become like my extended family and to whom I am very grateful. They work very hard over long shifts to keep the residents clean, tidy, and well-dressed. Medication is strictly monitored and if there is a health problem a doctor or district nurse is called in immediately. All rooms have recently been refurbished and are kept lovely and clean. The home is managed extremely well and excellent meals are served. Activities, church services, and events are arranged. It is a first-class care home run by people who care very much for the residents.

From our initial visit to Pennystone, it was a very easy decision that this was to be our choice of care home. The staff was immediately welcoming, answered all our questions, and professionally assisted the needs of my Father-in-law. The premises are immaculate and the highest standards of cleanliness and care are maintained with regular checking of all residents, addressing any requests immediately in a friendly professional manner. Activities are in abundance providing stimulus and entertainment with occasional visit 'stars' and even off-site visits when staff give willingly of their days off to help out and ensure the highest level of enjoyment and safety. Pennystone Court is a happy home with a wonderful sense of connectivity. Above all, my Father-in-law is happy here.
