My husband and I are very impressed how the Care Home is run and the thoughtful way our friend is looked after in all aspects of the care provided. She is kept safe 24 hours a day, has lovely meals, is given help when needed, has access to a Podiatrist and a Hairdresser and is treated with dignity at all times.

Could not have had better care . My husband was looked after very well and lived longer because of this. I would recommend it to anyone and would like to thank the staff and everyone for their care. Thank you

I started in the care home as a volunteer recently and all the staff were very kind and welcoming, introducing me to all the residents. All the residents here are very nice and the activities coordinator tries his best to keep everyone happy and entertained - having weekly karaoke sessions which all the residents love (they love singing and dancing). The care home has a schedule for weekly activities and organise activities such as arts and crafts, going to the garden and performances on certain days. Residents also have personalised pictures of family and friends and decorations in their rooms to help them feel comfortable.

I cannot thank all the staff at Morel Court enough for the ongoing excellent care. I have been so impressed by the consistent high quality of care - personalised for Mum. It has been a real pleasure to see how happy and safe Mum feels.

Communication can be an issue, for example, arrive to find mum with injection marks on arm, staff unaware why, Phlebotomist coming to take blood & not liaising with staff, also never given the results. Lack of feedback, a 6 mth review isn't enough, mum can't inform us of what she has been doing, aware of how busy staff are but talk to us. Huge positives, music therapy, house keeping staff, activities, care team, confident mum is in the correct place. Just to add cafe (Donna) is a great addition & asset.

I find Stratton House a friendly and welcoming place to visit. Residents are treated with patience and attention to their individual needs and preferences. There is a general atmosphere of calm, even though staff are busy. Also a good sense of team-working by staff. For residents there is a detailed programme of varied activities and frequent consultation on what they would like. The gardens are large and beautiful, and residents are encouraged to spend time outdoors and to participate in group events. Family members and friends are made welcome and encouraged to join in with activities and be part of the Stratton family

Easy parking. Warm, genuine and enthusiastic welcome. Each staff member smiled said hello and took an interest in my journey and day. I am very happy my family member is happy and cared for.

My mum moved to Horfield Lodge in January. Our family experience has been exceptional. From the food to the entertainment to the carers and to the nurses - all have been brilliant. My mum has been cared for with warmth, compassion and empathy. The location of the care home was also good. Lots of the rooms have a view of Horfield Common and it is very close to the cafe and gardens at the Ardagh. We enjoyed taking my mum to the cafe which was easy to do in her wheelchair. Highly recommended.

MHA Heather Grange is our home from home! A bevy of friendly faces, helping hands, keen, active staff, and a sincere and caring environment.

My mum was treated with respect, and dignity, and looked after by all the staff. It's warm and welcoming, they cannot do enough for you and your family. They go over and above.

For a city centre care home, there was a good outlook from the room onto a beautiful garden.

My father moved into Bradbury Grange from living independently just over three months ago and describes it as a'wonderful and remarkable retreat'. The staff are extraordinary; professional, efficient, caring, patient, respectful and cheerful. The home is clearly well managed and staff at this level are approachable and open. There is a genuine homely feel and staff are attentive to residents, showing real care and knowledge of each individual. Any medical attention for my father has been immediate and liaison with any NHS care, seamless. His spiritual welfare is very well looked after by the chaplain. We thought Bradbury Grange was amazing when we visited but could not have expected my father's move to be such a wholehearted success, he is safe, well looked after in every way and content.

All team work well together - pass messages on to appropriate team member. All our family are very happy with Mums continued care.

It is easy for head offices to only hear from families when something goes wrong, which is why I felt it vital to write to you when things have gone so right. You have a remarkable team at Torrwood and they are a true credit to MHA.

Very supportive & attentive staff.

I have found that the care of residents is good. There are many activities arranged for residents during the week. The home is kept clean and tidy and I am told the food is of good quality. I have always found that the staff try to do their level best to accommodate the residents' needs.

Can't praise this home enough, the whole team are amazing! The manager is lovely, she always makes time to speak to me and mum no matter how busy she is! The food is lovely and everyone is just so caring.
