Overall, Mum seems happy and is well looked after. One last point, the windows need cleaning in and out.
One staff member in particular is amazing! The morning coffee session this morning is evidence of her hard work. So many residents, so many relatives. Such a buzz! Thank you for bringing an element of normality to Dad's life.
I feel all staff I have met are friendly & helpful. My sister always enjoys her respite stay as it feels homely with a relaxed atmosphere. The daily activities are very important for her and she also enjoys the meals.
Visited on 2nd May (PM) + my sister was outside with other residents listening to a gentlemen playing guitar and singing. Residents seemed to be enjoying themselves + all had ice lolly + cold drinks. Took her back to her room, with help from staff + she said she was enjoying her time there but thought we had come to take her home.
My experience throughout my sister-in-law's time has been fine. Parking can sometimes be a problem.
It's been so hard watching my mother-in-law deteriorate with such a cruel and vindictive disease over the last few years. Having Ashworth Grange there to guide us and help us all cope as a family has been unbelievable. Knowing and seeing how settled, safe and secure our loved one is whilst in their highly professional care is a god send. The entire staff always go above and beyond to provide a service that's second to none. Their highly professional approach to their work and their willingness and commitment to comfort and support both patience and families is outstanding. I genuinely can't thank everyone at Ashworth Grange enough for the peace of mind and reassurance we have as a family regarding my mother-in-law's care. You are all SUPER HEROES
Ashworth Grange is a lovely, warm, welcoming, and caring facility. All the staff are friendly and helpful and look after my mum. We class Ashworth as our mum's extended family.
A brilliant care home! From the very moment you enter, you are greeted with a smile. All the staff are attentive and take an internet in residents ensuring they are happy. My uncle is content and never asks to go home - even when we go off-site, he is always happy to come back. The staff keep us regularly updated, and we always feel informed about his care.
My mum has been at Ashworth Grange now for about 10 months. During that time she seems to have settled well, with the help of staff. They always show mum the utmost respect and care for her with respect and dignity. I am a regular visitor and we together enjoy the coffee mornings and out lovely hostess the life style coordinator. Mum loves the craft and art sessions, especially painting and drawing.
I am a resident whose lived here for 9 months, 9 happy months. Carers are all kind and look after me well. I have a lovely room. Residents can join in activities. I particularly like art classes and enjoy listening to singers when they come to sing for us - where one can live our younger days. What more could we ask for. Thank you Ashworth Grange.
Mum has been living for 5 years. She has dementia and the staff here have been excellent and looked after her very well. Mum is very happy here.
Ashworth Grange is a very welcoming and caring home. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. Problems are dealt with very efficiently. We particularly enjoy the Wednesday coffee morning where the staff are very helpful, chatty and friendly.
My mum has consistently had the most amazing care at Ashworth Grange for two years. Because her family lives 4-5 hours away, it was decided to move Mum close to us. Mum pined for Ashworth Grange and the loving caring people who looked after her and in just over a month returned to a welcome fit for a celebrity! This is an exceptional care home because it is staffed by exceptional people. Thank you.
My grandma had dementia and was at the home for approximately 2.5 years. Overall, she was well looked after and treated with respect. During the last week of her life, the staff let us stay with her and they were just brilliant. We really felt supported and cared for ourselves. They provided food for us, a room and made sure we were ok throughout. When she passed away they were all so respectful and even gave her a guard of honour when she left the home. Your kindness will always be much appreciated.
Could do with some fans in the care area on Coffee Mornings... please/thank you.
The Activities Coordinator is always cheerful and smiley whenever you see her. My mum absolutely sings her praises and says what a wonderful person she is. She is kind and caring and nothing is too much trouble for her. We both love coming to the coffee morning it's a wonderful, cheerful and friendly environment. Mum thinks the Activities Coordinator is special, as are all the lovely staff.
