The staff are very understanding and responsive to the residents needs and changing moods. Our aunt is very well cared for. She feels safe and secure and most importantly is happy at Ashley Court. She can be difficult but is always treated with respect.

The staff at Ashley Care Home seem very caring and organized. The lounge areas and rooms are bright, and clean. The meals are of good quality and served either in the room or in the dining hall. We saw a small group of residents participating in a workshop while others were enjoying music videos on the lounge tv. There seems to be a good effort to engage those residents who are capable of participating in something organized while others are allowed to relax. The residents have varying degrees of dementia which must be difficult for the staff at times but our aunt appears well cared for and safe. There doesn't appear to be any interaction between the residents but when I said hello to a couple of people they did say hello back. Ashley Court provides a necessary home for many elderly people who need full time care and from what I have seen they do it with care and safety in mind. Family members are encouraged to come and visit and this makes us feel welcome when we are there. The staff are most accommodating to make our visits as positive as possible.

My brother has not been there very long but have been impressed with everything I have seen. My brother was impressed as soon as he moved in. He loves the food (it always smells lovely).

My brother has not been in the home very long. But he says the food and staff are excellent. I have nothing but high praises for the staff and feel happy knowing he is getting good treatment.

I am very happy with all the support I am receiving at Ashley Court. Food amazing, fresh and plenty of it. Staying here is amazing, polite staff. Manager lovely but I don't answer phone but please put on that I'm 89 I am happy with Ashley Court.

I came to visit my sister in law. We sat in the garden which is very pleasant. I found all the staff very helpful and nice. My sister in law seems very happy which is the main thing.

The staff are always friendly and approachable. The room and all areas are kept clean and tidy. Support is provided to my brother to wash, dress and when needed during the day. Any medical issues are addressed promptly and dealt with. The staff always speak to my brother and acknowledge him. I take my brother out so do not spend much time in the care home.

As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted with such warmth & friendliness. The staff are always so cheerful & helpful. I would certainly recommend Ashley Court Care Home.

Every staff member, from nurse to cleaner are polite and friendly. All of the staff care and that gives you a sense of security and support for of your relative.

Father has only been in the home since November and it is his and our both experience of a care home, so have nothing to compare too. He seems settled and happy and has his needs met. Room seems basic but functional and clean. Staff all are nice and helpful.

My aunt is happy and settled. Her health has greatly improved since she arrived in March 2024. The home is always warm, clean and welcoming and every member of staff has a smile on their face. Nothing is too much trouble. A real home-from-home atmosphere. Well done to all the staff for your kindness and care!

I am extremely satisfied with the excellent care provided to my father. The food is of superb quality and the activities provided are interesting and varied. My father is extremely happy with the care worker and has formed close friendships, especially with 'nurse nicey'!

I am blown away by all the staff at Ashley Court Care Home in Poole. My mum has been a resident for 18 months and I have never found all the staff from reception, the amazing cleaner who in my mind leaves it absolutely spotless, carers and nurses anything other than really professional and give their best every day! Christmas Day they kindly allowed me to join my mum for Christmas lunch and what an amazing team they are! The 3 courses, with choices, was fantastic quality and they made such a big effort to make it very special and for this, I am truly grateful! I was also so impressed how all the staff were celebrated by the home manager who clearly values all her staff. I honestly couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome and want to thank all the staff from all my family for making it so special for us.

My husband has been at Ashley Court for 9 months. His needs are quite complex but the staff have been excellent at providing him with the care he needs and are always friendly and cheerful. The home itself is clean, welcoming and homely.

Excellent care home. My father is well looked after. I have peace of mind knowing he is in a safe, warm home with staff who care.

All staff are friendly, welcoming and interact with service users in a kind confident caring manner. Staff appear to listen to service users' wants and wishes and interpret their needs if unable to communicate.

We visit regularly and we are always very welcome. The resident had been very poorly but had started to recover. Mainly because of the wonderful care they get. Nothing is too much trouble. It is a pleasure to visit.
