My father was admitted to the care home straight from hospital for palliative care. Although he was only there for three weeks he was happy to be there. All the staff were so friendly and made him feel welcome and they were the same with myself too. They were all so caring and attentive in all his personal care. Nothing was too much trouble for them at all. When my father passed away and I went to see him all the staff were so thoughtful and spoke highly of him and treated him with so much dignity. I'm so grateful for such a caring residential home with excellent staff and carers for being there for making my father so comfortable in his final days.

My grandad went into this care home very ill and on end of life care. The staff, the team and everyone there was very friendly. They took care of him and were exceptional in ensuring that we were kept up to date. It's a lovely welcoming atmosphere and a clean building. Each room seems catered for the individual aswell. The service was amazing and it kept me at ease knowing my grandad was so well looked after at the end of his life. He always seemed happy when I or family visited most days.

My grandad came from hospital for palliative care to Barton Lodge and I couldn't be happier. The staff are attentive to my grandads needs and always ensure he is comfortable and happy. The activity team go into his room every day for a one to one chat due to his mobility issues and he loves this. The management are always there in case there is any troubles- in which i have had no concerns! The management team helped me get my grandad placed in the home and always keep me updated to his condition. I cannot fault the care home or any of the staff. My grandad is happy there and he is supported my people who care! The food and drink they meet to my grandads needs and they always offer choices throughout the day! If there is something he asks for that is not on the menu they ensure they provide this for him so he is eating something. The room has a lovely view of there big garden and has its own ensuite too. The rooms are a lovely size.

Barton Lodge provide excellent care for my mother. The management have created a friendly, relaxing environment with beautiful surroundings. The care staff are exceptional and do all they can to provide friendly and professional 'round-the-clock' care for my mother. The staff provide my mother with all the help she needs so she can continue to live a happy and content life. The family are happy that mum is at Barton Lodge and is receiving the best possible care.

Mum has been in Barton Lodge for the last 4 weeks. From the start, she settled in well and the staff have been lovely and supportive to her and us as her family. They have made the whole situation very pleasant. Mum has also appeared to thrive whilst being in here from the stimulation and interaction and the care received.

The home itself is very clean and spacious, the room are well-equipped and are spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the quality of care my mother is receiving, puts my mind at rest that she is well cared for.

My gran was a resident at Barton Lodge, an amazing care home with excellent facilities and staff. Regular tea trolleys a day and a range of activities by the activities coordinator. Staff are amazing with the care and love they give to each and every resident.

I don't know where to start. Amazing nursing home. The home manager and team are just outstanding; caring, thoughtful and friendly. When we viewed within seconds we knew this was the place to put my auntie, it's like a hotel; spacious, spotless, clean. The Rooms are massive, they even have a cinema room, the food is wonderful, the decor is out of this world. Even seeing the staff so caring and interacting with other residents is so heartwarming. The day my auntie was moving in we were allowed to have her room all sorted and cosy before she arrived. From the front door my auntie hasn't stopped smiling. We had problems with washing and changing clothes before and within twenty-four hours my auntie had full washes as in baths, changed clothes, hair cut, nails done and is smiling even more. This was for sure a golden find, I personally couldn't be happier that this is where my auntie is. I haven't seen that smile in years. She talks to everyone and just settled so well in a few days. Thank you Home Manager and team.

The staff at Barton Lodge are amazing, really caring and always willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are lovely and large and the food is of amazing quality. My mother is really happy here, I cannot thank Barton Lodge enough, keep up the amazing work.

I cannot fault the team at Barton Lodge. My grandad is really happy there. The staff cannot do enough. All his needs are always met with such compassion. I've heard lots of terrible things about various care homes so I was naturally nervous, but there was no need to be, the team here are fab. Thanks to all for providing such a brilliant service.

Much appreciation for the hard work the staff put in to care for my nan and other residents. They always go above and beyond and it makes me so pleased my nan is so happy being there. Thank you again Barton Lodge for all your help and kindness. Such a fantastic care home.

My mother went in for 2 weeks respite and the care and service she got while being in there was outstanding. Everyone is so pleasant from the front desk to carers and management. Nothing was too much for any of them. Would highly recommend.

My dad has been at Barton Lodge for 6 weeks and I have nothing but praise for the staff and facilities. From the initial visit to moving in and visiting. I’ve felt Dad’s needs have been met with empathy and compassion. The home is comfortable and beautifully furnished throughout and the staff are all friendly and helpful.

My dad stayed here for 3 weeks respite. He had a wonderful stay and was well cared for. The home has had a beautiful refurbishment, it’s lovely and clean, the rooms are well laid out and it has a warm friendly and homely atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my dad’s dietary requirements were met and he was well catered for. There was as plenty of activities, stimulation and socialisation for my dad which he thoroughly enjoyed. The staff and management were brilliant at such short notice and I would highly recommend Barton Lodge.

This is a beautifully refurbished, recently, care home with lovely facilities and rooms but most importantly, amazing, caring staff who do actually care and provide a service that any relatives would be grateful for and pleased with. 10/10 to staff and management, thank you for all you do.

This is a fantastic care home. Residents are cared for by a diligent team of carers, led by an experienced, hands-on management team. My mum is in a good-sized, ensuite room which we were able to personalise and is kept very clean. Personal care is administered thoughtfully. Food is good. Even though it has 70 rooms, it still feels homely due to the friendly staff and the way it is organised. A lovely dining room and relaxing lounge. Peace of mind and safety of a loved one. 100% recommend.

Spent 2 weeks being well cared for. Staff were particularly attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Room was spacious and well appointed. Meals were regular, food was varied, very tasty with ample portions - regular tea, biscuits or cake served throughout the day. Cleanliness throughout was well endorsed, rooms cleaned daily - I felt well looked after. Only downside was a lack of activities, this was due to the home being let down by an outside contractor, hopefully this is addressed going forward. This was my first stay at this home, a lovely experience with no regrets. I would not hesitate to recommend and return.

My mum was previously in a care home in December 2022 and she slipped over and spent 7 weeks in hospital. The care home then said they couldn’t meet her needs so after visiting other care homes, which we were not happy with, we found out that a new care home had just opened called Barton Lodge. Wow, what a brilliant home this is, I say this not just because of the facilities the home has, but the kindness, care and commitment the staff have shown to my mum.

My mother is currently staying at Barton Lodge Care Home and is one of the first residents. We have had a very warm welcoming from the staff and management team at Barton Lodge. The team are very friendly and supportive, always smiling and happy to help. The home’s refurbishments are beautiful and it’s lovely and clean. The food looks and smells amazing. We wish the team every success with their future of building up the home.

I find Trefoil to be such a heartwarming environment where all staff are genuinely kind and supportive to residents and family members. I get comfort knowing my dad is very well cared for here at Trefoil in every possible way. When family members are away we are appreciative that Dad has the best possible care with authenticity.
