My sister and my brother-in-law are in a lovely place here, and such a happy place. They are very well looked after indeed and couldn't be in a better place. I enjoyed the singer who was performing all the pop songs from yesteryear.
Most of the time, she is happy and content. Mostly sits in the lounge but then wants to go in room until we leave, then she goes back into the lounge.
Staff very caring and helpful, always kept informed re my mum and her care.
I find the staff friendly and they look after every resident at the home. Home-cooked food very tasty. Lovely activities are booked for entertainment. The new activity room opened by the Lord Mayoress is a great idea. Also any problem or concern, I go and see the management, and it all gets sorted straight away.

Lovely care home with friendly staff. Came for a party for a resident and her husband. Lovely food and great entertainment.
A lovely afternoon celebrating a 60th Wedding Anniversary, from what I saw care and dignity were fine. Cost unknown.
It is such a lovely place to line in. Very homely. They go above and beyond.
I thought the care home went above and beyond to make my friend's 60th wedding anniversary very memorable. I was made to feel very welcome.
Very friendly and welcoming - made you want to explore more. On a short visit, would recommend it to others.
Very welcoming and friendly.
Wonderful!
Mum to came to The Cedars in July 2023 after a long stay in hospital. The transfer was excellent. Mum has been treated beautifully over the last 12 months, we can not fault the care she is given. All the carers have helped her settle in. She quickly made friends with a few of the residents. She enjoys the entertainment that is put on and joins in with most of the activities. It has all made what was a difficult decision for us a lot easier, and we can relax knowing that she has the care she now needs.
Staff are wonderful and make an effort to settle people - and give them the care they need. I've always felt welcome, and Mum is being looked after better than we could manage as a family.
My mum has just passed her year at Cedars and has just about settled. Like everyone with dementia, she still thinks she's going home, but the family just brush it off now. I know it is a care home and have to keep costs down but it could be a bit less clinical with curtains and bedding. Instead of having all the same colour, what about different colours or some pattern. Do more activities, with residents in some rooms. My mum says she gets bored just sitting.
