We are new to the care home as my mother-in-law has recently been placed here. We are so impressed by the care she is being given and how fabulous the staff are. The home is clean and welcoming.

If I could give 0 stars. I would have. Today, sadly my uncle passed away at 1am. My sister who was next of kin was contacted repeatedly by staff. Not once when they phoned they offered any condolences. The first thing they said was "is he getting buried or cremated" my sister was in shock as they
never told her my uncle had passed. Then they called again and laughed and said "well we can't just leave a body in the care home it needs to be refrigerated" myself and my sister when to a funeral directors before going to the home. I asked who spoke to my sister it was a nurse who was present. I asked her where her compassion was and she extremely snotty and again did not apologize. As we were leaving the financial admin asked my sister to sign a contract. I said no as our uncle had only just passed and today was the not the day. She turned around and said " you have an attitude problem" known fine well I had just lost my uncle. The worst compassion and empathy home I've known.

A very positive experience for me and my visits. My friend has been at Ridley Park for 10 months. Her health has improved with the attention that she has had from medics. She is very content in herself and enjoys the activities. All staff are so helpful and pleasant when I visit.

Most helpful staff in caring for Sian at no time we have nothing to complain about. Food care above our expectations the stay in care home was way beyond our hopes. Wishing all the staff good health and happiness, merry xmas and massive thanks to all.

Living here is very nice. It's a bit noisy at times especially with some neighbours who have their TV or music loud.
I feel safe here and I'm well looked after.

My step father is happy at Ridley Park. He is well cared for by very caring staff. His only concern is sometimes having to wait for personal care, as no hoist is available. He would also prefer his breakfast a little earlier, as sometimes there is only a 2 hour gap between breakfast and lunch.

First impression of Ridley Park were excellent - light, bright rooms for residents. Very good communal areas with fresh decor and quality furnishings. The staff were welcoming and helpful from day 1. Varied activities daily with the resident encouraged to participate, but equally respected private
time. For relatives, Ridley Park provides peace of mind knowing loved ones are cared for, treated with dignity and importantly, safe.

Homely and welcoming interior, well-kept communal areas, clean, lovely touches in the dining areas (tables set beautifully), friendly staff and gardens are pretty. Shout out to the carers - caring and go above and beyond. Home-cooked food looks and smells delicious.

The staff within Ridley Park are amazing. They go above and beyond.
The dementia unit staff in particular are fantastic. I feel my Mum and Dad are very well looked after and I can relax at home knowing they are safe and happy. Thank you.

The first point of contact was excellent. My dad was made to feel very welcome when he arrived which made such a difference at what was quite a difficult time. The staff have made a real effort to get to know him.

Mam recently passed away at Ridley Park Care Home after over five years of living there. When she moved to the home in 2019, we really thought that her time was limited: within a matter of months the home had de-aged her by ten years and it was staggering to see the improvement in her health.
The
level of care that mam received throughout the five years at Ridley Park has been unfailingly outstanding. The staff are always welcoming towards the family, whilst they have been compassionate, patient, thoughtful and kind towards mam. We have always been kept up to date with mam's health and progress. There have also been some lovely activities; pictures and videos of mam singing and holding animals will live long in the memory; little touches that are so important.
The celebration of mam's 100th birthday in October last year was wonderful. Her room - and indeed the whole home - was beautifully decorated, there was a fantastic cake and the whole day was very enjoyable.
The end-of-life care that mam received was just like all her care at Ridley Park - warm and loving - and we are so happy that she was able to end her days there.

I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the staff are at Ridley. The care and attention they give to residents is amazing from the kitchen staff, domestic carers, nurses, and admin - truly amazing!
The admin staff goes above and beyond to help and support me through some very difficult
family times. I honestly don't think I could have gotten through.
The personal care they have provided to my Mum and me is excellent. I can not recommend Ridley enough. My Mom is in Dunes.

My overall experience of Ridley Park Care Home is a very happy, well-run establishment. Upon entering, greeted by friendly and helpful with whatever the problem was that day (usually my mum and dad trying to pay the bill for their hotel rooms!). The cafe at the entrance is a great idea. The activity
coordinators always have residents and visitors enjoying varied and interesting activities catering for all abilities. I can go home knowing my parents are safe, secure and most of all happy.

My mum has only been here a few weeks but very happy with the care indeed. The staff and managers are amazing, was so worried about my mum in a nursing home but could not wish for a more caring and loving place. Well done Ripley Park please continue to look after my mum in this amazing 5 star care
home.

What can I say? Marvellous! My 93-year-old aunt was fortunate to obtain a place at Ridley Park in May 2024 for a two-week period of respite. As it transpired, she has made it her permanent residence. On visiting the care home, for me, the first impression I got was excellent. My first point of
contact was so professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I was immensely reassured that this was a great place for my aunt to stay. I thought the whole environment was delightful and was very happy for my aunt to take up residence. My aunt moved in within days and was pleased with her lovely room overlooking the garden. I also have to mention another staff member, who is a wonderful representative of the care home and is brilliant for advice and reassurance. The professionalism and open manner of these members of staff is a credit to the home. My aunt subsequently took up permanent residence at Ridley Park and is in her element with her new home. Well done Ridley Park!

The majority of the time care is excellent, odd occasions seems understaffed. The staff are very understanding and kind. The food is sometimes in the bed after meals but once again understandable and cleaners can't be in the room constantly.
