I lived here for 2 years and I enjoy the food. The staff are friendly they are very helpful - the home is clean.

I have lived here for one year. I enjoy the view, the food is tasty and I have plenty to eat.The staff are very friendly and helpful. My room has got a good view and the home is clean and tidy. I enjoy the activities.

My mum has been in West Cliff for I think nearly 4 years, and I dont have any complaints at all, Repeka is always available for any concerns I might have, she is always helpful and always very nice. I also like Chelsey again never too busy to help if I need to talk about anything. In fact all the
staff are nice. I think most of them like my mum. I hope so, and for me its just knowing she is warm, safe, getting fed, and her meds at right times cos then she dosent get any seizures anymore, which was aworry years ago. Her memory is going downhill now and she is up and down so she is in the best place now. Thank you.

My mother has blossomed since she has been at West Cliff hall, she has been at the home for nearly a year... she is always saying how lovely the home is.... and how nice the food is!... All the staff are so friendly to mum and myself nothing us too much trouble for any of them. Mums room has a view
over the water and she loves seeing the ships come in and out of the docks. When ever we visit there are always activities going on... mum always joins in!!! Her favourite activity is when Louise reads a story ... mum loves being read to!!!
I often book in to have a meal with mum and her two friends she has met there, oh my goodness there meals are delicious. I cannot recommend West Cliffe highly enough...I looked at a few and I'm so happy I chose West Cliffe...... mum is so very very happy there !!!

I visited my friend and was happy to see them relaxed and comfortable in a pleasant environment. The staff was attentive and supportive, and the home had a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It is lovely to know my friend is being looked after so well.

We've been very happy with mum's care. The rooms, catering, facilities, services, events, cleanliness are all excellent, as are all the staff. We get plenty of updates, so we always know what is happening each week. The staff are lovely, very caring and patient, always attentive, they let us know
how mum is doing and whether she needs anything. The home has a friendly atmosphere, is spacious with nice inside communal spaces as well as a patio, garden and large lawned area. I'm very happy mum is there and that she calls it her home. I have no criticisms at all.

My mum moved into the care January 2026 after her health declined a hospital admission and increased memory loss. I live in Spain and came to see her. I visited her for 5 of the 7 days in UK. I was very impressed with the care mum is receiving. The staff are lovely and treat mum kindly and with
respect. She has told my brother she feels safe there which puts my mind at rest. I just wanted to say thank you to all who look after my mum. I will be back in UK the end of April and look forward to seeing my mum again.

We have been delighted with his care. He is happy and safe and the carers are supportive of him and us. He loves his room and all the activities and entertainment arranged. He enjoys the fun exercise sessions and says the food is excellent.

What an amazing location and team of people. All staff are very polite, caring, supportive and have a real interest in residents here.
My dad had a fall in August, following which he was unsafe to return home and live independently, we hummed and aahed several times, visited at odd moments and
never felt under pressure. Dad's room is bright and airy with lovely views over to Southampton docks, there's always something for him to watch.
Food is great, the activities on offer are varied, though to be fair dad's not tried many, but he gets encouraged to try. The home provides lots of regular information and it's comforting to see a slimmed down version of the care notes online, which gives us reassurance of how he is.
GP and other care service staff visit regularly, hair, nails, OT, eyes, hearing very comprehensive.
Dad's very happy and content there. Thank you.

I had an amazing visit with my mother on 18th September and I brought along a friend too, we stayed and had lunch with mum and what a wonderful lunch it was too, restaurant quality, service warm and friendly to all the residents I was very impressed, my thanks to all staff at West cliff... mum
enjoyed every minute of us dining with her.... thank you

The most important thing when I moved into the care home was that I felt safe. Having had several falls prior to moving in so this was important. I have a nice room which I enjoy. I am happy to call West Cliff Hall Care Home 'My home'

All of the carers are helpful, friendly and not too busy when you need help. The residents are very clean and spacious with excellent views. The staff are also helpful and friendly, always have time to listen to you. When he was in his last home he was in his room most of the times, so got very
depressed. He is very happy at West Cliff.

Having visited my grandmother in law I have found the place very clean, very friendly and when I have visited her in the dining area the food looks excellent. She looks very happy and well in her self.

I moved here last month. I did not want to come but now I am here I am enjoying it, making new friends being pampered in the salon. I love all the staff they are so caring and nice. The food is delicious and the activities are fun.

I have been here for a year and have found it excellent; The food is good, I have a big room now which I absolutely love, with 3 big windows that let the sun in.
The home is always clean and the staff are kind and efficient. The staff seem to be happy, which means the management is good. Overall, I
am happy here.

West Cliff Hall is a truly beautiful home. The building maybe be big but it's a home away from home straight away. From the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed and treated so well (a staff member in particular is fab!) The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and the activities on offer
are so much fun! The home is always so beautifully maintained and clean as well, which is obviously so important!

Building lovely, staff cheerful and good facilities. Unfortunately my Stepfather was seriously let down though. Alarm bells rang 2 days in and met manager to discuss. Lots of encouraging words but sadly had to remove Dad 2 days later. Unable to maintain medication timings, unable to manage his
safeguarding or the person who was harassing him. They were advanced in their condition and should have been supervised. On raising our complaint it seemed management disregarded the seriousness of the problem or just didn't read our email.
Hope they've improved and hired more staff but I would urge anyone to caution before placing a loved one there.

My mum was very agitated and upset when she moved in but staff have been wonderful, patient and kind to me and mum. Things have settled well and I've been impressed by the professionalism of all staff. Nothing has been too much trouble.
