Firstly, I would like to send our condolences for the loss of your mother, I would also like to thank you for taking the time to write such a compassionate and heartfelt review. All the staff at West Cliff Hall make sure they show each resident the care, kindness and support they need daily. We also like to care and support the families and friends who visit their loved ones at the home. It is lovely to hear your mother could attend the community tea you had organised at your workplace, memories which will last forever. We always make sure our residents feel part of society and can still do all the things they are used to and more. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we are very disappointed you have experienced such a negative visit to the home to see your mother. We take all feedback very seriously; our aim is to provide the best possible care to those we support at West Cliff Hall. We do give more than the main choices on the daily menu, we would have been able to facilitate other alternatives around the lunchtime service, the chefs just need to know what the residents would enjoy eating on that day. As the team work hard daily to provide a safe, happy and calming environment for all our residents it is very unfortunate to hear your feedback about the cleanliness of the home. Please rest assured I will be passing your comments on to the senior management team so they can contact you directly. Once again I can only apologise for your experience on your visit, and we strive to move forward.

I joined the Hartford Care family in 2012. It’s been a great and rewarding journey and the team takes pride in looking after our residents, families and visitors to ensure everyone feels safe and happy at all times.

I have worked at West Cliff Hall and was very sad to leave. But I am back now and so happy to be working with Repeka. I am a very ambitious person who always wants to achieve my goals. I am 100% committed to my job and my residents.
