Harlow Hall

from Liz M (Daughter of Resident) published on 25 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

Mum moved into Harlow Hall in March 2025. She has a lovely room - much like you'd find in a hotel. Very new and large en-suite wet room. Mum loves the shower! She has taken a little while to settle in - which was to be expected - and initially kept asking when she was going home. However, she does
now seem happy and it's lovely to see the photos that Harlow Hall post on social media with her smiling! I was particularly pleased that last week mum and another lady walked to the shops with a carer and did a bit of personal shopping. It was nice that she could do something '' normal' and feel independent. The staff are all lovely and mum is now making friends. It is a great weight off my shoulders as I feel she is being well cared for and is happy. Thank you everyone at Harlow Hall!

We are so pleased to have found Harlow Hall for

West Cliff Hall Care Home

from J C (Friend of Resident) published on 9 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

West Cliff Hall is a truly beautiful home. The building maybe be big but it's a home away from home straight away. From the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed and treated so well (a staff member in particular is fab!) The staff are friendly, the food is tasty and the activities on offer are
so much fun! The home is always so beautifully maintained and clean as well, which is obviously so important!

Manager and all carer personal, polite, caring and professional. They are helpful and understanding. They are reassuring and have made my husband very welcome and comfortable. Burnham Lodge

from P D (Respite Resident) published on 4 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

This present stay at Burnham Lodge is my fourth one. That surely is enough proof of my faith in the place!
In 2003 we were looking for a residential home for my 94 year old stepfather & finally found Burnham Lodge. My mother & I instantly fell in love with the place, the setting & the friendly atmosphere.
My stepfather spent his last six months here, & had excellent care. My mother spent her last two weeks here & I was with her as she slept her last sleep. If I cannot care for myself I have vowed that I will come to Burnham Lodge, where I will get the best care & be returned to health.

Highfield Nursing Home

from Kerrie H (Daughter of Resident) published on 4 April 2025
Overall Experience  Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5

My dad had dementia. He was in hospital with an infection and it became clear he wouldn't be able to return home. He didn't want to go into a care home so we described it to him as a posh hotel. From the very beginning everyone at Highfield welcomed not only dad but all of the family. He was only there
for a short time but they looked after us all and it was lovely to be able to visit at any time and bring the dog with us. Tea and cake was always plentiful and the various lounges meant we could get him out of his room. During a very difficult time for us as a family the team of staff helped make it so much easier. We could relax knowing he was in safe hands.

We will pass on your kind words to the team at Highfield.

My mother who I've been caring for two years went into respite at short notice. The care home were so accommodating and gave her a lovely room with en-suite. All the staff were so cheerful and kind and looked after my mother very well. The team are all very respectful and the residents all seemed content
and happy. A big thank you to all the staff for their professionalism and kindness.

The soon to be completed building work has meant a full car park and some extra noise but everyone has been helpful and worked hard in making the best of it. Staff are always very attentive when we visit and there is a nice feeling in the building. Visiting hours are fully flexible and we always feel
welcome when we visit.
