Review of Tegfield House from Michael T (Husband of Resident) published on 21 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
I was overwhelmed by the support the Manager gave me as I had to accept that I could no longer care safely for my wife with Alzheimers at home. They have been so patient, understanding, care-full treating her with dignity and respect at all times eventhough her illness has made it difficult sometimes. The whole environment, facilities, welcome, reassurance, couldn't be bettered with visitors welcome at any time which is an excellent sign. I am so glad she has a place there. Thank you to all the team there who do a magnificent job in sometimes trying circumstances. If further reassurance or comment from me is needed to affirm their truly well deserved 'outstanding' label please do not hesitate to ask.

Review of Stokeleigh from Sarah G (Daughter of Resident) published on 20 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
My father has been a resident at Stokeleigh since January 2026, and I can't thank the staff enough for the care they have given him. Moving him into a care home was tricky as his Alzheimer's had made him quite argumentative and resistant to help. However, within a month, he was calm, settled and content. I realised I hadn't seen him looking that happy in years. The staff are kind, patient and genuinely caring, and have taken the time to get to know him as an individual. As a regular visitor, I've also got to know many of the team, who are always so friendly and welcoming. I can visit my dad whenever I want and always feel welcome. The home is bright, clean and fresh, with activities twice a day that my dad enjoys, plus a beautiful garden. Knowing he is safe, happy and well cared for has given our whole family enormous peace of mind.

Review of Beech Tree from Brian D (Son of Resident) published on 20 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
June was particularly warm, but the staff all went above and beyond to ensure that the safety and comfort of the residents was not compromised. Safe hydration was promoted with increased checks on residents was incredibly reassuring because I knew that any heat related problems would be identified long before they became a problem. The activity team did an amazing job. Adjusting the timetable to take into account the heat, without reducing any of the enjoyment to residents. Thank you to the whole team at Beech Tree for the professional way that you managed this recent bout of extreme weather. I wish there was a grade of 'outstanding'

My Mum was here from March to the beginning of July after breaking her ankle and had received a first class service from start to finish, they helped me find my way and her care and support was superb and the staff and management are so helpful, they've even helped with the transition to getting her home with the help she needs whilst at home! Review of West Cliff Hall Care Home from Steve G (Son of Resident) published on 15 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
West Cliff - Outstanding!
Our family cannot speak highly enough of West Cliff. From the moment we first walked through the doors, the staff treated Mum with dignity, kindness, and real compassion. The team takes time to get to know each resident personally and always make sure the little things happen.
What stands out:
Staff: Always professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. They kept us updated without us having to chase.
Environment: West Cliff is spotless, bright, and feels like home. Mum loved being outside in the garden when the weather was nice.
Activities & Food: Great choice of activities and the food was excellent. Dietary needs are catered for without fuss.
Peace of mind: We knew Mum was safe, respected, and was truely happy there.
Management is approachable and truly listens.
Choosing a care home is hard, but West Cliff gave us complete peace of mind.
Highly recommended.

Overall Experience
I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all of the staff for the outstanding care they provide to my mum. From the very beginning, they have treated her with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion, making her feel safe, valued, and at home. The staff are always friendly, caring, and professional. They go above and beyond to ensure every resident is comfortable and well looked after, and nothing is ever too much trouble. It is clear they genuinely care about the people they support, and that shines through in everything they do. The home is always clean, welcoming, and has a lovely atmosphere.
As a family, knowing that my mum is receiving such excellent care gives us complete peace of mind. We are truly grateful for the dedication, patience, and kindness shown by every member of the team. Review of Tegfield House from Margaret W (Resident / Service User) published on 13 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
I am 95 years old and moved to Tegfield House in Winchester on 20th January 2026, where I have a lovely room looking down on a courtyard garden where we can sit when the weather is suitable. My elder daughter lives fairly close. She comes to take me out once a week, so I have become familiar with my surroundings in Hampshire.
Re-food: It is not possible to put a cross in the Food+Drink box, because since I arrived there has been a search for a new chef. It can vary between poor to reasonable, to good depending which chef is on duty.

Review of Victoria Lodge Care Home from L P (Grandson of Resident) published on 10 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
From the moment my Nan arrived here at Victoria Lodge, the staff have been extremely helpful towards me when arranging her arrangements and reassured me throughout on everything as it was a worrying and unfamiliar time for me and my Nan especially. But Leanne, Shirley, Ellie, Mia and the staff who I have met have been nothing but kind, compassionate and patient with me (and all my questions) and most importantly my Nan who has settled well and appears happy. They have helped take a huge weight off and given me peace of mind that she is in good hands here. Quote from Nan herself: I think this place is very good, I'm quite pleased with it. Thank you again so much

Review of Delves Court from M W (Daughter of Resident) published on 8 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
During my father's two year stay at Delves he was treated with the utmost Dignity and respect. We made the decision for Dad to go to Delves as when we visited, it immediately felt like home and we knew he would be happy there. With the encouragement of the team, he settled in immediately. The team at Delves are outstanding and go above and beyond, as a matter of routine. Dad always told us he was happy and well looked after and he would absolutely have told us if he wasn't. The team build a relationship with him a got know his family. It was easy for us to leave Dad after a visit. Trusting and knowing he was happy and cared for gave us the peace of mind we needed. Concerns were dealt with immediately and we were kept informed of any changes relating to his health.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Delves to anyone seeking nursing care for their loved ones, no matter their need.

Review of Malden House from H R (Daughter of Resident) published on 7 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
Wonderful new manager and family meetings are next level. We feel listened to; the staff knew the residents so well; morale seems high and there is always a buzz in the conversatory of an activity going on. Some residents seem to enjoy sitting quietly with a newspaper or listening to music but the atmosphere is very good. Nice breeze on a hot day and outdoor space to sit. I visit regularly, I review regularly and say what I see.
