My mother has been a resident at Aldergrove for almost two years. The home is well run, and all staff are welcoming. We are very pleased with the care provided. Last week, my mom celebrated her 90th birthday. The home made her day so special, presenting her with a cake and flowers. When her family met,
the home ensured that the bar was decorated, and we received help on the day to make a truly memorable occasion. Thank you to the whole team.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Aldergrove Manor Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such a wonderful review. We are delighted to hear that your mother has enjoyed her time at Aldergrove over the past two years and that you are pleased with the care and support she receives. It was a privilege to be part of her special 90th birthday celebrations, and we are so pleased that the day created such happy memories for your mother and your family. Your kind words about our team mean a great deal and will be shared with everyone at Aldergrove. Thank you for your continued trust and support.

My mother resided at Delves Care Home for 19 months and I can say with upmost honesty, that she was her happiest that she had been in her later years.
It was with a heavy heart that my mom had to go into a carehome but she would have stated herself she was safe and looked after 24/7.
The staff were
all amazing but the night staff are the real stars and they comforted and cared for my mother, with all her night complex needs.
The home manger at the time Elaine was outstanding and enabled me to love my mother as a daughter again and stepped me away from being her carer. I'm extremely grateful to have got my mother/daughter relationship back in her final years.
The home became a new family and the memories I have I will cherish forever. Singers, fete's, day trips out, Christmas family meal etc.
Thank you Delves care staff "To the world you may be one person; but to one person you
may be the world " x

Greenleigh Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum was transfered to Greenleigh care home from hospital, following a fall resulting in a broken ankle. My first impressions were good, the environment was clean, well maintained, the staff were friendly and more to the point, the residents appeared to be happy and settled. Mum was made welcome right
from the start, the staff did everything to support her needs whilst maintaining her independence as much as possible.
She was with them for a number of weeks and over that time built a good relationship with the staff and residents. Dad was able to spend as much time with her as he wanted, he was made to feel welcome and stayed most days to eat lunch with her.
The management structure played a big part of the experience, they were approachable and understanding whilst being professional and hands on. Nothing was too much trouble and I would like to say thank you for making mum's stay such a pleasant one and for making us all feel so welcome.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Greenleigh Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that your mum's stay at Greenleigh was such a positive one and that she felt welcomed and supported from the moment she arrived.
It is wonderful to know that our team helped her maintain her independence while providing the care she needed, and that both your mum and dad felt comfortable and welcomed throughout her stay. Your kind words about our staff and management team are greatly appreciated, and we will be sure to share them with everyone involved.
Thank you for your trust and for allowing us to care for your mum. We wish her all the very best in her continued recovery.

My mom entered Island Court for two weeks' respite in March 2026 when my dad was taken into the hospital. After this, she has remained a permanent resident. She has settled well and appears content. When my dad needed step-down care from the hospital, Island Court worked hard to accommodate this and
relieve pressure on us as a family, having both parents in one place. All the staff are lovely.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Island Court Care HomeThank you for your lovely feedback. My Father was placed at Delves Care home following an end of life diagnosis. He spent 6 months at the home before he sadly passed on 7th May.
Whilst it was a difficult decision to place him in a care home, we chose Delves Court following several recommendations and it was definitely the right choice.

Dad was looked after very well in a dignified and respectful manner. all the staff from Management, Nursing, Catering and Cleaning have been amazing.
My mum often had to visit on her own as we live out of town and she has was also very well looked after during visits.
We were kept informed on dads progress and during his final weeks updated regularly on all intervention and what the team were doing to make him comfortable.
Delves Court became dads second home and I and my family cannot thank all the staff enough for the amazing work they do.

Mom has been cared for very well at Delves Court for the last few years. Staff have been very caring and understanding, especially after Dad died. I like all the activities that go on in the home. The St George's Day celebration was lots of fun. I took Mom out for lunch and staff had dressed her very
nicely for the occasion in a pretty top and even found her jewellery.

My dad moved into Greenleigh care home in January 2025.
He had previously lived at home with his wife who was his full time carer along side family & community care team.
Sadly our mom passed away suddenly after a short battle with lung cancer.
Dad then had a fall & was in hospital then got moved
to step down in Wolverhampton.
We wanted dad nearer to us but as we all work couldn't look after dad as he needed 24hr care.
After driving round Dudley I came across Greenleigh care home. The Manager was welcoming & friendly & put my mind at ease.
Dad moved into Greenleigh care it was an emotional time for us all.
We visited every day usually twice a day between us. We were made to feel welcome & encouraged to take part in the activities with dad.
Staff were caring & patient & kind to dad.
Even buying a chess set as he asked to play chess with staff which he enjoyed.
We took dad out most weeks to our home or out to his favourite coffee shop staff were supportive with this & always work hard.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Greenleigh Care HomeThank you for your kind and thoughtful feedback. We're pleased to hear your dad has settled well and that the team have been able to support both him and your family during such a difficult time. My main problem with the home. Not enough staff are visiting my wife on a daily basis. I sit and observe the situation. A big problem I have witnessed is patients falling out of their chairs, and I have personally had to raise the alarm for carers. Staff should put away clothes properly. Some just throw
into the wardrobe. (As I check every day). There are many things that can be improved, and this is down to management.

We have found Victoria Lodge Care Home to be warm, friendly, clean and welcoming. The managers and staff are very efficient, understanding & quick to ammend any issues. Despite this being a difficult change for our sister they have done everything within their power to ensure her care needs both physically
& mentally are met. The building is always very clean, the staff are always focused on residents Care, the building is quite modern, nice outside spaces, a good sized car park, the decor inside the home is more like a boutique hotel (which is fantastic for both residents & visitors) the laundry service is very efficient and we have notice the residents are regularly offered drinks food snacks ect.

My mom currently resides at Aldergrove Manor, I could not ask for better care. They have made her feel welcome from the moment she arrived as well as myself, having never had to deal with care homes before we were both very nervous. Our nerves were put at ease immediately by the Home Manager and Unit
Manager, they were friendly, kind and informative. This is then felt throughout the home, the staff are very friendly and caring, they show compassion and genuine care. The home is clean, well decorated and has a lot of space, there are a lot of rooms available for when more family visit as well as some quieter areas for more secluded visits. The home goes above and beyond to provide that extra bit of care, thank you for everything you do.
