With a bustling movement of residence the engagement within the surroundings is reasonable. Attempts are made to engage the residents with various levels of success, considering the variety of issues present it's reasonable for the people/resources available.

The garden needs attention, this is known. Plants/flowers are very good for people of any age.

I put 4 for facilities/safety, as in the lounge area wandering residents without their frames is sometimes/often noticed eventually/late.

More sensors are needed to alert the nearby career whom is probably distracted.

We chose Malden as mum had previously been in respite care there and we were very happy with them at that time. It was also lovely to see so many familiar staff who clearly remembered mum from her last stay.

We've been made so welcome by the kind and friendly staff, the manager and the management team, it's been an immense relief to know he's safe and well looked after. I've enjoyed quality time taking him on outings and visits to the home, we've both enjoyed taking part in activities and feeling part of the Malden community. For personal reasons we're reverting to care at home, but we're pleased to maintain the day care visits and valuable link to Malden, which from the start has made such a positive difference and continues.

over the past year with a doubling of size and of course a number of new care staff. In general this has gone well and the managers have coped well with the difficulties this can bring. I had a few issues with clothing not being sorted properly but when this was brought to the attention of the managers this was quickly addressed.
In general I am very happy that my wife is being looked after carefully and she views the care home as her actual 'Home' now.
