Always a pleasure to visit our Mum who has altziemers but has a smile on her face almost continuously as she is so happy in Doledd. She has regained her mobility as the staff have encouraged her to participate in the many activities provided. The care staff are always very friendly and welcoming and really do take care of all the residents, no matter what their requirements. Fabulous care home, management and staff.

Waiting time to be seen by Staff once bell has been rung is very long. Mainly for toilet visits. Appears that home is short on staff at times. My mum can not visit the toilet without assistance. More often than not She has to wet herself before staff arrive. We are buying her incontinence pants due to the lengthy waiting times.

The quality of the food has deteriorated in the last 6 months.

We have been visiting my brother for the last five years and we have always found All the staff very polite, friendly, informative and helpful. They are always pleased to see relatives
and give information that is relevant to my brothers care. We enjoy the visits and so does

my brother, he tells us regularly how much he likes living in Rhosyn Melvyn, we can't ask for more.

Jodie arranged a day trip to Chester for some residents and my mum Dot was very lucky to go and I was able to join her, we had a fantastic day, so well organised by the Team at Broughton Hall. A lovely picnic to end the day and so much care taken to tend to everyones food needs.

Broughton Hall is my Grandma's home. She feels happy, safe and secure. The staff make the whole family welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The garden is lovely and Grandma's room really feels like home.

My husband has been a resident at Ashgrove Residential care home for four years where he has always been treated with the utmost care and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the family is always made welcome. Everywhere is always kept clean and bright. Food is really good and the activity staffs are always thinking up ways of keeping residents entertained. They have regular visits from singers local school children and are taken out on trips.

I couldn't fault the care given to my friend, the staff were absolutely wonderful with her, she was treated with dignity and kindness, almost like family. She was always clean, well-dressed and little things like staff had painted her nails, not a big thing but important to a lady who earlier in her life valued such things. Every time we visited she was happy and relaxed. The staff were extremely helpful to us as well. I can't praise them high enough to be honest. They're all a credit to your company.

My mother spent the last three years of her life at Rhosyn Melyn, and the care she received was truly outstanding. The staff treated her with kindness, dignity, and genuine affection every single day. It was always clear that this wasn't just a job to them - it was a vocation.
They knew her well, understood her needs, and made her feel safe and valued. As a family, we were always welcomed, supported, and kept fully informed, which gave us enormous peace of mind.
In her final days, the compassion shown to her was exceptional, and the fact that so many staff members chose to attend her funeral meant the world to us.

We will always be grateful to Rhosyn Melyn for giving our mother comfort, dignity, and warmth in her last years. They made an immeasurable difference to her life and to ours.

I found the home to be warm and welcoming to residents and families. My grandmother was a resident for 3 years until she died recently. The staff always appeared to be genuinely caring and helpful. They displayed warmth and empathy to her and were always interested how they could improve her well being. I feel that they genuinely cared that made such a difference to her and to me. I have been in quite a few care homes with my work and not found any of their staff to be as caring as the ones in Ashgrove.

This review covers 2yrs and C's time with you and all our very regular visits to her in your care.
The outstanding care given to my very dear friend as been brilliant, I cannot find fault ANYWHERE with it. ALL care staff are so friendly and welcoming, each and everyone of them is a credit to the care industry, and Rhosyn Melyn are incredibly lucky to have them, they truely are worth their weight in gold.
I cannot thank you enough especially for the long visits we have had over the last difficult week, your friendliness and hospitality with us as been phenominal.
An extra big thanks must especially go to the 2 night nurses who have worked this week upto 26.03.2026, they have been so compassionate and caring with our friend and us, it warms the heart.
Thank you all for helping to make the world a better place.

Our mum has been at Ashgrove for 4years. She settled in well with staff who welcomed her and made her feel safe and comfortable.
The manager is always available and hands on. He clearly shows strong leadership skills and supports all staff very well.
Mums needs are met in comfortable and homely surroundings.
The home is very clean and well maintained. It has a warm and comfortable feel when you arrive and everywhere is beautifully decorated.
All of the staff are friendly and approachable, they are always on hand to assist and support.
Mum enjoys her meals and routines. There is a huge variety of entertainment to suit everyone's wants and needs.

We are thankful that our mum is well cared for by friendly and efficient staff and the management for their hard work ensuring the smooth running of Ashgrove.

My mum has been at Ashgrove nearly 7 years. Myself and the family are very happy with the service. Management, carers, cleaners, kitchen staff, activities and laundry they are all very friendly. Its always spotlessly clean, and my mum says the food is very good too, and its lovely to see all the residents singing, dancing when they have entertainment they really enjoy themselves. Thank you to each and everyone at Ashgrove for all their hard work and dedication.

Mum moving to Ash Grove has been a life changing experience for her and for us as her family. I can't speak highly enough of the care mum receives, every member of staff, regardless of their role go out of their way to look after my mum with care and compassion, all her needs are met. The care staff are amazing; the Senior staff work extremely hard to ensure health care needs are met, they are professional and do a great job of liaising with other health care professionals. The care staff are friendly, warm and so hard working and respectful. Caretakers, kitchen staff, admin and laundry staff are friendly and professional. Ash Grove is very well run by excellent managers who listen to residents and families. The activity coordinators are amazing and organise high quality activities every day . The home is beautifully decorated and is a real 'home from home' . I thank my lucky stars every day that my mum is fortunate enough to be a resident of Ash Grove
