Waiting time to be seen by Staff once bell has been rung is very long. Mainly for toilet visits. Appears that home is short on staff at times. My mum can not visit the toilet without assistance. More often than not She has to wet herself before staff arrive. We are buying her incontinence pants due to the lengthy waiting times.

The quality of the food has deteriorated in the last 6 months.

Broughton Hall is my Grandma's home. She feels happy, safe and secure. The staff make the whole family welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The garden is lovely and Grandma's room really feels like home.

This review is based on Broughton Hall operating as a care home within another group.
Managament have always been open to any concerns and being resolved effectively. Staff are wonderful in their care of my mother, it is reassuring to know she is well looked after.
A separate room would be benefical to go to when visiting.

Feel staffing levels are low at certain times.

Overall Experience

My mum became a resident at Broughton Hall just before Christmas 2017. Since she has been in Broughton Hall I am amazed at how happy and content she is. Mum suffers from dementia and was slowly going downhill. Since living at Broughton Hall the difference in her is amazing. All of the staff are friendly, caring and really seem to love their jobs. There is always something going on. Day trips, parties, sing-alongs, singers, BBQs etc. Mum loves the food there and is eating so much better. Always looks clean and happy. I just want to say a big THANKYOU to everybody. The manager runs a pleasant happy home. Well done to you and your staff. I really do appreciate your dedication.
