Manager and staff have been excellent all throughout the process of moving my sister into full time care. Extremely supportive and helpful. They are brilliant. Everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. Smiles on everyone, staff and residents too. My sister has physical and mental health issues
but the Beech Tree staff have been ultra supportive. Previously bedridden she is now getting up and joining in and loving every moment. I cannot praise them enough.

Moving a loved one to a care home is a very difficult time but from the very start the Manager and Head of Care were excellent in their support and Mum was made to feel so welcome. She has settled in really well and is content, safe, happy and very well cared for - all thanks to the amazing care she
receives - the staff are patient, kind and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and the home itself has multiple spacious communal areas giving residents plenty of space. Tegfield has a real family feeling and we are so grateful Mum is now living in a such a safe and happy environment.

We've been very happy with mum's care. The rooms, catering, facilities, services, events, cleanliness are all excellent, as are all the staff. We get plenty of updates, so we always know what is happening each week. The staff are lovely, very caring and patient, always attentive, they let us know how
mum is doing and whether she needs anything. The home has a friendly atmosphere, is spacious with nice inside communal spaces as well as a patio, garden and large lawned area. I'm very happy mum is there and that she calls it her home. I have no criticisms at all.

It was my mums first time at a care home and she was very anxious, it was clear from entering Harlow hall that it was a friendly and welcoming place, more like a hotel was my first impression. My mum soon settled in and the staff were amazing friendly, and tentative to all her needs. Activities and
entertainment which include a cinema beauty salon, crafts a sky bar tribute bands and dances trips out to name a few, these are encouraged but never forced and was lovely that the staff are tuned in to everybody's individual needs, my mum had a great time at Harlow hall and they even made her birthday special with other residents and a cake.I can't recommend Harlow hall enough and my mum will be returning soon with confidence, thank you guys so much.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Harlow HallThank you so much for sharing your experience. We're thrilled to hear that your mum settled in so well at Harlow Hall and felt welcomed from the very start.

My sister moved in here a month ago at fairly short notice and it is therefore quite a sudden change of circumstances for her. She has been made very welcome and I am particularly struck by how well all the staff know who she is and also the records they keep of how she is doing. And how friendly they
all are!
Her room is perfect for her, lovely and clean with decent storage space for her personal possessions and the communal rooms are also good.
There also seems to be a very wide variety of activities for the residents to join in and I am pleased to hear she has been to many of them.
My only other comment is that checking in her could possibly have been handled better but that was probably down to the time we arrived which was late on a Friday afternoon.
Reply from Jenni Laffoley, Head of Marketing at Harlow HallThank you for sharing your feedback. We're delighted to hear that your sister has settled in well and feels welcomed at Harlow Hall.

It's wonderful to know that our team's friendly, attentive care and the cleanliness and comfort of her room have made a positive difference, and that she is enjoying the variety of activities available. We also appreciate your constructive comments about the admission process and will use it to improve future arrivals.

What an amazing care home, its like entering a five star hotel...When we arrived from hospital with Mum (after A four week hospital stay for a full shoulder shoulder replacement) we were greeted by a lovely young lady with a beautiful smile for us all and an extra smile for Mum. We immediately new that
Mum would be happy here and a week in we were not wrong. All the staff are highly trained and attend to Mums every needs. Its so refreshing to meet so many people that are still smiling and offering support to residents and visitors at the end of a long day. The Home is fully kitted out for all the support that anyone might need plus extras, there is an extensive menu for the residents that is prepared in-house by an amazing Chef...his cakes are the best we have ever eaten....yes Visitors can have a cuppa and cake too... Gurmeet the Home Manage and Lucy make the home complete these two Ladies are as dedicated as they come. When I leave Mum after a visit I know she is Safe and Happy.

My Mum lived at Bethel House for almost 3 years. It became her home. She was lovingly cared for by the team at Bethel House. Her food was always wonderful and, even though she was confined to her room by illness, the entertainment team regularly visited her. You can tell when you walk into Bethel
that the team are friends with each other which gives a warm ambiance and this naturally passes on to the residents, giving a feeling of comfort and a happy atmosphere. During Mum's final days, the team also cared for me and my husband. I can wholeheartedly recommend this team at Bethel House.

Harlow Hall has become a second family to my husband who had to go into care a year ago due to his increasing health needs. From the time he arrived at Harlow Hall was welcomed by all the kind, caring & friendly staff. He has settled into the home well & enjoys the wide range of activities on
offer, especially the summer BBQs & football at the local club which is organised by the home for residents! Harlow Hall has a positive culture & a wonderful community spirit which is a testament to their core values! The home continues to be responsive & supportive to my husband's health & social care needs! My husband is safe & I cannot recommend the home more! Thank you so much Harlow Hall for the excellent service.

Having to place a loved one into care is an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking decision that no family makes lightly. I had been dreading moving my uncle into a care home, but choosing Bethel House has been one of the best things to happen to him in years.
The level of care is outstanding, and
the home is always clean, welcoming, and full of warmth. Staff treat residents with genuine kindness, dignity, and respect. There is a real sense of community, with a wide range of activities tailored to individual tastes and abilities.
Communication with families is excellent, and there is a true family feel throughout. It is clear that every effort is made to ensure residents feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. We are incredibly grateful for the care and compassion shown every day.

My mum lives at home with me and my family, but I was in need of respite. Mum stayed at Moorhill Care Home for the month of January, and I felt 100% assured that she was in the best hands. The managers and staff were all extremely kind and caring. The vibe at the home is cheerful and relaxing. The interior
of the home is spacious, pristine, fresh and calming. The building is new and well thought out, and the grounds are beautiful. The Care Home is in a beautiful location. We live in Portsmouth, but this home is so conveniently situated just off the M27, that the 20 minute drive was not a problem. Mum had 9 night stay in a reputable Care Home in Emsworth last May, but Moorhill exceeded the Emsworth Home by a long stretch. I won't hesitate should I need respite again - I wouldn't mind booking myself into there!!

Mum initially went into Woodlands House for 2 weeks respite, but settled so well that we decided she would be best served remaining there. This was the best decision we made in terms of her care. The staff were so attentive to her needs; always encouraged feeding (despite her reluctance); and provided
exceptional care to her. Sadly her time at the home was limited, as she passed away after only a few weeks. Nevertheless we couldn't have been more impressed by what was provided to Mum, and the compassion that was shown to us following her passing.

My mum moved into the care January 2026 after her health declined a hospital admission and increased memory loss. I live in Spain and came to see her. I visited her for 5 of the 7 days in UK. I was very impressed with the care mum is receiving. The staff are lovely and treat mum kindly and with respect.
She has told my brother she feels safe there which puts my mind at rest. I just wanted to say thank you to all who look after my mum. I will be back in UK the end of April and look forward to seeing my mum again.

I truly did not know care homes could be this good! Mum wasn't keen on going into care until we showed her her fabulous room at Woodlands and the smile on her face said it all. All the staff were amazing, they had time to help everyone or to just have a chat when passing. Great food choices for each
meal and plenty of it! The activities & outings schedule was amazing with something for everyone. Mum particularly liked the regular quizzes that took place indoors or in the beautiful garden, as well as listening to the visiting singers and speakers.

Mum has been at Beech Tree for almost a year. In that time, she has thrived. The care, compassion and professionalism of every single member of staff is second to none. Activities are regular, varied and inclusive and Mum enjoys participating. Staff always welcome me by name and have taken time, despite
being busy to help and support me when I have found Mum's illness difficult to deal with, it's like being part of an incredibly supporting family. Thank you.
I hope the new management company make no changes to a very happy, caring and winning formula. Beech Tree is a beacon of how a care home should be. Thank you

My mother was resident at Harlow Hall from August to October 2025. The facilities are 5*. The staff were efficient and very experienced, the management team dealt with our concerns seriously, effectively with good communication, keeping us updated on my mother's health issues and general mental state.
Many of the staff were great fun and really tried to make her stay a 'home from home' experience, which isn't easy for a lady of 94 who had lived independently at her home for the past 46 years. The staff listened to our concerns and put various strategies in place to help her with the transition. My mother was very reticent to take part in the daily activities but they tried to encourage her to socialise in the afternoon, if she wouldn't they'd pop onto see her regularly. The food menu was varied and delicious with alternatives offered if she didn't like today's choices. To sum up; if I needed residential care I would book myself into Harlow Hall to be cared for by all the lovely staff!

My father has been staying here for a year. We chose the home because on 1st visit , we noted the environment was homely , staff were friendly and kind to the residents. We noted even the catering staff were . In the last 12 months , my father has been well cared for .
Today on one of our visits,
we were delightfully surprise , the manager even welcome the residents calling in at her office for a chat.
A number of the carers have been at Belford House for a long time so the residents get to know the carers and they value the continuity.
My father has a very nice room but he spends almost all his time in the residents lounge because he enjoys being with the other residents which I am very pleased to see.

I have experienced the care of my husband at Beech Tree for two years. The happy caring atmosphere is wonderful. I could never imagined my husband would be able to cope and settle in care but top marks to the wonderful staff he is so happy.
