We were hesitant about her going into a care home but you have restored our faith in care homes, when it was noticed my Nan wasn't well it was dealt with quickly and she had only been there less than 24 hours but staff knew she wasn't right this swift action gave us an extra few weeks with her . Every single person greeted you with a smile the home was always clean. During my Nans final few days everyone's kindness made it easier for us as a family. The management were extremely warm, caring and welcoming, and the room available had a view over a magnificent garden. Upon moving in we found that all the staff were so helpful and made Mom as comfortable as she could be after leaving her home of nearly 50 years. As with all organisations, a few really bright stars shone out but all staff and management go about their days with a smile on their faces and are a credit to any caring organisation. Your room will be nicely decorated with wooden flooring, and underfloor heating, an ensuite toilet and a TV. The garden is well maintained with neat lawns, patios, tables and chairs. Apart from having your own private room, there is a communal room on each floor if you want to mix and chat with other residents so if you're looking for a care home, I would look no further than the Delves.
