From the time my aunt and uncle moved in they felt at home - their room is beautifully decorated and with ample place for clothes etc. Staff are absolutely wonderful and always cheerful and helpful. Lots of opportunity for mixing ie painting etc. Lots of entertainment too! I am so relieved that when
I leave to go home I know they will be okay. Everyone seems happy to be here and when I have to leave to go home I know they are in good hands.

I visited Ivy Grove to check it out before the possibility of my aunt going there for respite. As soon as I walked through the door, I knew it was the right place for my aunt. All the staff were friendly, and the residents, and I was shown the rooms and facilities, and was very impressed, and
decided that this is the place for my aunt. In the respite period, my aunt settled in really well. She enjoys the activities and chatting to the other residents and the staff, and was very happy, so much so that she is going to be a permanent resident, which makes me and the rest of her family very happy too, knowing she is being well looked after and safe.

My friend has lived at Ivy Grove for 5 months. Staff have very supportive, welcoming and worked hard to help her feel "at home". It was lovely that she was able to bring her own furniture, pictures & keepsakes to personalize her room. There is an impressive range of activities available to take
part in at Ivy Grove (at least 2 per day). My friend particularly enjoys the keep fit classes, Toddler music group, Bingo & live entertainment. A very high level of personalized care is given at Ivy Grove and the quality, and attention to detail of the staff and management is outstanding. Ivy Grove staff also contact me regularly to update me on her wellbeing & appointments. I love that I can make hot drinks at any time, stay for the occasional meal (which is always tasty) and that I am made to feel very welcome. I also like having the small lounge available to use when I visit for longer.
I have no regrets about choosing Ivy Grove for my friend, and highly recommend it.

My Mother has been a resident in Ivy Grove for over two years and we can't praise the home and the staff high enough. We are so grateful for the wonderful way my mother is looked after and it's a great relief knowing she is safe and happy.
The whole team including carers, cleaners, entertainment
staff, kitchen staff and management are dedicated to the residents and do everything they can to ensure the residents are well cared for and happy.

The staff and residents are outstanding. The staff are always here to help you. Living here I feel very safe and comfortable. I love the closeness of my friends that I have made in the home. I especially enjoyed going horse riding. I would love to go again. I would recommend Ivy Grove to those who
are looking.

My Dad was a resident at Ivy Grove for just under three years before he sadly died in May this year. Our decision for him to move there was one of the best decisions we've ever made - he had been growing increasingly frail and lonely after my stepmother died in 2020 but absolutely thrived once he
moved into Ivy Grove because he was so well looked after.
Although he was a quiet man, he loved being around company and I could see how happy he was every time I visited him (which was often). The staff put on lots of entertainment and worked really hard to make their residents' wishes come true. Dad got to do lots of fun things and was always smiling whenever I arrived. Staff not only arranged for him to go on a private tour of a football ground while he was there but he even went up in a small plane over London at the age of 98 - which he loved!
The staff there are so kind, caring and thoughtful. Ivy Grove is a very special place.

My late mother was a resident at Ivy Grove Care home up to April 2025 when she sadly passed away. All the staff are very supportive and professional. Especially her carer, who was very caring. I would truly recommend Ivy Grove home to anyone wishing to use their care home. Every member of staff made
me feel part of a family; they always had time to talk to me and a shoulder to lean on. Keep up your good work and your professionalism.

My dad was a resident at Ivy Grove Care Home for six months until his death in November 2024. All the staff there are so kind and helpful: carers, reception, catering and management staff alike. The home itself is bright and cheerful with spacious rooms and a lovely garden and there is a broad
programme of activities. Individual outings can be arranged too which I particularly appreciated. As a non-resident I haven't given a full review of the food as I didn't have any main meals but I enjoyed the sandwiches and cakes on special occasions such as Father's Day. After dad died, I missed my daily visits to Ivy Grove so I still pop in from time to time and I am always made to feel most welcome.

We would like to thank the team for a lovely afternoon. The entertainment was excellent, my mum had a few teary moments. And everyone joined in the sing-along. The chefs put on a lovely selection of sandwiches, cake, fruits, and chips. Thank you all from the lovely receptionist, and
the other young ladies always have time for a chat, and all the carers for the amazing work for our loved one. Thank you to the manager. We had a wonderful afternoon

The care home is lovely, lots of entertainment, always something going on, from painting to flower arranging, staff are very caring, nothing too big for them, chefs serve up delicious food, always accommodating to dietary needs, ladies on reception are friendly, and housekeeping do a good job.

We visited a friend who has recently moved into Ivy Grove and were pleased to hear from her that she is settling in well. The staff were welcoming and cheerful and there was a really lovely atmosphere. I have given an average rating for food and drink because, as visitors, we did not have any
refreshments so you can't comment.

I am very impressed with all the staff of the home from the manager down. They all seem to know the residents well and engage fully with them including my next of kin, and her needs are certainly being met and she accepts and trusts them which wasn't the case when she had daily carers at home who
she viewed with suspicion. The care, activities, decor and general ambience is great.

April and the team were really warm and welcoming to dad and I. Dad feels like Ivy Grove is now something of a second home for him. He's made great friends with the team and with other residents there. The rooms are lovely, big and have great facilities. There are always activities going on every
day to keep dad entertained. The food is of a very high standard and plenty of it too. I'd like to thank everyone there for looking after dad so well - I know he's in good hands at Ivy Grove and means that I don't have to worry.

I can't speak highly enough of this care home. They looked after my father-in-law until he passed. The whole team are the most caring people I have ever met. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. The rooms are lovely and kept spotless. The furniture they provide is excellent. The food is all
freshly prepared and the choice is amazing. They have entertainment daily and make sure all the residents are happy. Any medical issues are reported to a doctor who visits the home regularly. My father-in-law was so happy here.

As a family, we were dreading the day that mum would need to go into a care home. From the moment mum was visited by the Home Admission Team at her home, I felt that we were leaving mum in good hands. On the day of moving in, mum was a bit upset and within minutes the care team had mum settled and
smiling. And before long mum was off helping to lay the tables with staff andmeeting the other residents. Mum has been at the Ivy since March and has settled in brilliantly thanks to the fantastic staff at the Ivy. The whole team that helps to run the Ivy, make family members always welcome when you arrive at the home. The home is clean and the food menu choices are fantastic. The home has a great daily activity program, that the residence always happily participates in. We as a family are very pleased that we found the Ivy Care home for mum. And I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for long- or short-term care. Thanks again to all the team at Ivy for taking great care of our mum.

We were so worried about mum going into a care home, but from the moment she arrived she was made to feel so welcome and like she was part of the Ivy Grove family. Mum loves music and dancing and all the staff make time to put music on and have a dance with her. When we visit she is always off
chatting to other residents or staff who are always very engaging. We are always offered drinks and snacks when we visit which is lovely to have a cuppa with mum. And there is always some activity going on whether it's a singer, an exercise class or trips out. The food at Ivy Grove is superb always delicious and there is a choice, mum certainly enjoys it. The staff at Ivy Grove are amazing from the Domestics, Laundry ladies, Cooks, Carers, Entertainment, Hairdresser, Receptionists and Management they all make time for the residents, to make sure they are happy and treated with dignity. We are so blessed that mum was placed in this wonderful caring home.

My dad initially went into Ivy Grove for a four-week respite stay. At the end of that time, he had settled in and decided to become a full-time resident.
From my initial contact with the administration staff to settling Dad in, all the staff have been warm and welcoming. The home is well-managed
and organised. We are emailed regularly and kept up to date with menus and information for the coming week. Nothing seems to be too much trouble.
All areas of the home are clean and bright, the menu is varied and Dad says the food is good and there is a lot of it! Anything he asks for he seems to get.
The team of staff are exceptionally kind and thoughtful, talking to the residents as they pass by and sitting with them in the lounge.
All Dad's visitors have said the home is the best they have been in.
I would recommend Ivy Grove to anyone considering moving into a care home.

Had a pleasant 15-day visit. The food was excellent, plenty of it. Staff were friendly, and the laundry was excellent. I enjoyed the activities but would have enjoyed a more varied list of activities, as there was a lot of exercise and singing. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I would
definitely recommend Ivy Grive in all aspects of care and would enjoy visiting again.

Very friendly and clean care home. Staff are very helpful. Mum suffers from extreme anxiety and depression. Staff are very kind to Mum.

My sister has only been a resident in Ivy Grove Care Home for eight weeks but the staff have all been so welcoming and everything, so far, has been excellent as far as my sister's needs are concerned.
Unfortunately, I don't think my sister is able to show her appreciation but we are hoping, as
time passes, she will.
Thank you for the "care" on offer, we would have wished for her to stay in her own home but sadly, it wasn't possible. Many thanks once again.
