My mam has just recently moved into this care home. I was really apprehensive and worried as past experiences have not been great regarding care homes.
Within a couple of weeks I felt confidant that mam was getting well looked after. The staff always do their very best to ensure that all residents
needs are met, and go above and beyond with a very warm and caring approach.
Mam has settled quickly, and us as a family can now relax knowing that mam is cared for and respected in the way that she deserves.
The communication they have with us is fantastic and we are always encouraged to share any feedback or concerns ( if any) we may have about mam.
I would recommend rushyfields to anyone who is looking for dementia care for their loved one. I wouldn't have mam anywhere else.

My mother is blind, death and constanlty in delirium. She cannot communicate or recognise anyone but can verbalise some of her needs. She is treated with respect and dignity by all of the care staff who seem to remain cheerful at all times. I am kept informed of any incidents or knocks that she has.
She always appears clean and well-kept.

I am delighted with the care and attention given to my friend. The staff from the reception and throughout the building are so kind, helpful and caring, showing great compassion and patience even in stressful situations. They interact with the residents making them feel cared for and safe. They are
happy to spend time, both face to face and on the phone, to let you know how your loved ones are doing. Thank you.

Staff are friendly, including admin.Manager and deputy are open to comments and concerns. Activities lass does her upmost to find something that residents can enjoy either on their own or in group. She also trys hard to raise funds.
Unfortunately the domestic angle is not very good, staff friendly
but standards poor.
More than once I have had to ask for bedroom to be cleaned, toilet and bin to be emptied. Often items are to be seen under furniture in the lounge ( over 48hrs).
Laundry is another sore point, items go missing, sometimes might turn up after a long wait. I frequently have to return items of clothing that doesn't belong to my husband 2/3 times a week.husbands clothes are named and tagged. Am sure residents would not wish to wear other people's clothes.
Chairs are in need of a good clean, often there are chairs without seat cushions in the lounge.
Over all staff do their hardest for residents and visitors.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Rushyfields for a year now and has settled very well into her surroundings. She is always clean and tidy and has gained weight since admission. Staff are friendly approachable, and I feel able to voice any concerns I may have knowing they will be acted upon
promptly and efficiently. We as a family are always made to feel welcome. Some of the furnishings in main sitting room look tired + worn which can give a poor first impression but the lovely staff certainly make up for that. Rooms are clean and pleasant. I would certainly recommend Rushyfields.

This is the third nursing home my wife has been in since diagnosed with dementia and by far the best. I have ticked every box excellent because that is what Rushyfields is. My wife is having the best care ever and she hasn't been happier than what she is now because of the excellent management and
fantastic caring staff.

Rushyfields is quite a good care facility, of course things can always improve. Pretty easy going staff. Management fine, I have been in several care facilities down the years and would put Rushyfields well in the higher bracket of care. Long may I continue to visit.

This care home has made our mam safe and felt loved. She is happy to offer cuddles to staff (noting she is unable to speak or write). The staff are lovely with her. Staff do ask for regular feedback and act upon our wishes and listen to us. We feel more domestic staff would be useful to help with
laundry and clothing returns and room cleaning. We pay vast amounts to Sanctuary Care - would be nice to see them re-invest the fees we pay to this local care home not the main HQ. We are full fee payers.

Our experience has been good and bad depending what staff is on duty. We just want mam to be kept clean and today. We have had a few problems but when complained everything has been sorted out quickly.

The care my mum receives at Rushyfields is second to non. The team are like an extended family, so caring and compassionate towards her and myself. Nothing is too much trouble, all tasks completed with kindness and patience.
On each visit I am informed of mum's day to day activities and general
well being along with the telephone calls of reassurance when I can't visit.
When I leave, it is in the knowledge that she is loved and cared for.
Thank you to all the team

Rushyfields has been a wonderful home for my auntie. Starting from my auntie's difficult start with aphasia, the people and environment have made a comfortable existence for her. There are carers there who have made a massive difference to let her live a life; their love have made her difficulties
so much the better.

A very well run and efficient care home. Staff and management are very efficient at what they do.

We cannot thank the staff of Rushyfields enough for the outstanding care of our auntie/great-auntie over the past couple of years. Without exception, our auntie is treated as an individual with the utmost love, care, and respect. When my auntie finds some days challenging, they are sensitive to her
needs and show patience and kindness. Thanks to the Activities Co-ordinator many fun activities are organised and residents are gently encouraged to join in. There are many staff who have a special relationship with our auntie which has undoubtedly made a great difference to her quality of life. These include 5 in particular floor managers. The manager and deputy manager know our auntie personally and have always ensured the very best care. We could not have wished for better care of our dear auntie/great auntie and will remain forever grateful to all at Rushyfields.

I am pleased with the care my sister receives at Rushyfields. The staff are all kind, sensitive, and courteous, and answer any questions or concerns promptly. They are also very quick to let the family know if any issues arise.
