From the short respite I booked in September 2025 to my present permanent stay, I have been made to feel safe and happy at Meadowbank Care Home. As my mobility decreases, staff are willing and able to meet my needs, always with a smile and energy, making my stay a happy one. The food is good with
an imaginative menu offering nutrition as well as variety. The application of medication is excellent, giving me reassurance. I was very reluctant at the thought of needing residential care, but Meadowbank has dispelled any reservations I had, and I am happy to be cared for here. Management and carers really do care at Meadowbank.

My father went in for a 4 week respite stay after 6 weeks in hospital where he had weakened from too long in bed.
The staff were fantastic with him, gave him some time to settle, bringing food to his room, encouraging time in the chair and in the bed and then as he got stronger and relaxed a little
encouraged him to go to the dining room and take part in activities.
All staff were very friendly and caring and had time to speak to us when we visited to update us on his progress.

I can't speak highly enough of the exceptional care my mum receives at this home. From the moment she arrived, the team have shown nothing but kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. They take the time to understand her needs, her routines, and the little things that make her feel comfortable
and valued.
What stands out most is the consistency of the care. Every member of staff treats her with dignity and respect, and it's clear they truly care about her wellbeing. They keep me updated, involve me in decisions, and always make me feel welcome when I visit. The atmosphere is warm, calm, and reassuring - exactly what you hope for when entrusting someone you love to others.
Knowing my mum is safe, supported, and surrounded by people who look after her as if she were their own family gives me enormous peace of mind. I'm incredibly grateful for everything they do. This home is a credit to the care profession.
