View Full Details of Langford ViewMum has been in Langford View for nearly a year. The staff have looked after her really well. Her communication is minimal, but the carers take time with her and anticipate her needs. When going to visit, it is like going into a family, from the staff at reception to carers and domestics. All of them welcome us. Dad visits daily and is treated like family, everyone knows him, and he is able to have his meals with mum every day. I would highly recommend Langford View for the great care and lovely, homely atmosphere. It has been lovely to see the manager spending quality time with the residents.
I found the St Johns care home very welcoming and your staff were very friendly and helpful. In the last few weeks of my brothers life your staff were exceptional and not only caring to him, but also, myself and my sister whilst we were there,
My sister is very happy here, all staff are brilliant.
All that one would hope for in the care for a loved one. Found staff and care excellent and facilities. Would highly recommend.
My husband is very happy here, he joins in activities, has good meals. He is always clean and well looked after. Lovely people always on hand.
My friends and I come here lots of time and really enjoy it. It's a happy day! I love being here and it's a happy place. It;s a lovely place to express yourself.
I live here and am enjoying my life here. The staff are very friendly!
I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and warmth you have shown my nan since her arrival at Langford. Her new home, in every sense of the word from the very first moment we stepped through the door, the staff were incredibly welcoming to both my nan and me. We were guided to her room, beautifully furnished and clean, then offered a cup of tea and biscuits, this truly meant a lot. Nan has said the meals are great. Nan has made friends already, she is so happy which is just what I needed and her. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, your care and dedication make such a difference.
During my fathers time in Langford View he received fantastic care and respect from all the care team. During his final weeks the staff went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable at all times, I cannot praise the care team more highly. They are all a credit to Langford View.
I visited Langford View to see my friend and it fell on the same day as their Christmas Fayre. It was such a lovely afternoon, a great festive atmosphere. It really did make our visit special with my friend. We sat and enjoyed a coffee with mince pies in the beautifully decorated lounge room and also had a look at the lovely stalls in the reception area. The staff were amazing, helpful and attentive. They all worked so hard to deliver a wonderful day. Thank you for the warm welcome.
My sister, 84, moved into Langford View in July. From day 1, staff were so welcoming and my sister settled so quickly. My sister hasn't complained to me as she used to, sometimes ringing me 5-10 times a day. Suffering from Alzheimer's she didn't understand, being my older sister my wife and I have cared and looked after for the last 6-8 years. All I can say is thank you so much to all the staff. It means so much that she has made friends and is safe and happy.
The care home is very well-managed with strong leadership, and an excellent team who are friendly, helpful and positive. My mum is very happy and comfortable, and the staff do all they can to make her feel included and part of the community. The food is excellent and always served on hot plates. Recently when my mum had a series of falls, the team supported her superbly during a stressful and challenging time. When she returned from hospital, the welcome was warm and reassuring with every detail thoughtfully considered. "It's so good to be back with my chums," she said, as she was welcomed back to her room.
My parents are here, my mum has dementia and can be challenging. The staff have all been patient and compassionate with her. I notice that the staff know all the names of all the residents. I have witnessed staff dealing well with situations that I would personally find challenging.
A particular member of staff is very good in the room and excellent in care work. She would do anything for me.
Very good.
I am happy and dinner is good.
Thank you for everything that you did for Mum. The care and kindness you showed to her was exemplary.
I would not recommend Langford View Care Home. They failed to look after and care for my mother. Questioned management and staff about my unwell mother but didn't result in a responsible welfare outcome. Was hospitalised and unfortunately never came out of hospital.
A very well-maintained home. The care workers and nurses were kind, caring, attentive and compassionate. I thank them. Security and cleanliness were good and it felt like a safe environment. The night my partner died seemed to be filled with confusion from the staff on duty. I found this difficult.
On looking for a home for Dad, I was particularly impressed with our initial meeting at the home and how time was taken to answer my many questions. Since being at the home, Dad has been treated with dignity and respect by a very warm and friendly staff group. Thank you for looking after Dad now I'm no longer able to do so.
