Tricia's role as Bursar at Langford View means that she is often at the centre of activity within the home.
Tricia is passionate about the high levels of care we provide at Langford View and she decided to take the step into her current role as Bursar after having been a care leader and achieving qualifications in Care Leading, Dementia and Management and then being the home's Admin Assistant.
Tricia is an expert in managing a busy workload and, among her many responsibilities, she supervises ancillary staff, arranges training, is responsible for ordering for the home in-line with budgets and ensures the smooth-running of day-to-day activities such as gardening, residents’ shopping and serving meals.
This expertise and willingness to help was recognised with two years’ nominations and one win for Oxfordshire Office Support of the Year within the Trust.
On special occasions and during fundraising activities you will often be able to see Tricia in full fancy dress, wearing a wig or even joining a conga around our car park! In her spare time, Tricia enjoys walking her dog and spending time with her family.
Emma is Langford View’s Admin Assistant and will be the first to offer a very warm welcome to all visitors.
Emma enjoys the varied nature of the role, whether she is organising staff rotas, reviewing residents’ financial accounts or showing round a new resident and their family.
Emma holds NVQ levels 2 and 3 in Care and brings nearly three decades of experience working in the care industry. Emma always knew she wanted to work in care and has held a number of different roles within the Trust.
