My husband passed away end of September. He was given wonderful care and nursing.

He was treated with dignity and love. The support I also received was second to none. I have much respect for these people, carers, staff, kitchen and above all, management. Thank you for making this difficult time bearable. This is a very special care home.

All my 'aunt's' needs are provided for.
Two years ago, before she came here, she was suffering and trying to cope at home, to the frustration of all her family and friends who could see her deteriorating by the day.
Here, she is well cared for and it is consoling to now that all her needs are taken care of.

Thank you.

I have been visiting my friend, ex-neighbour for about a year. The care I see her receiving is indeed excellent and the care workers I've met there are so pleasant and helpful. She is very well cared for when she has been unwell they spoke to me and explained her care. When I visit once a week staff are very friendly towards me.

I have said to my son if I should get dementia I would be happy to go there instead of another home which was my first choice. I could find no fault with it.

My wife was a resident at Langford View for three years. For that period of time, my wife and I were given nothing but help and courtesy. Nothing ever seemed too much for the staff whether it concerned, care, medical or clerical, for that I can't thank each and every one of them. My thanks unconditionally. Lastly, Langford View was always spotlessly clean and inviting.

With regard to my score for the food and drink, I have scored it satisfactory, even though the meals themselves are hot and tasty. My main issue is that the menu is repetitive and lacks imagination. The menu is frequently changed at the last moment for no apparent reason. Being the youngest here at 67, I have not participated in the activities so cannot in all honesty comment.

As a family we have been very pleased with the care Mum has received whilst in Langford View. She was very happy living in Langford. The staff are the most amazing group. I will continue to visit the home with my dog even though Mum's time has come to leave this world. Thank you to all the staff, you are truly wonderful.

From the time we looked around the home to the time my father passed away, it felt like home. At all times I was kept informed of my father's welfare. Everyone was kind, considerate and respectful. All the staff were amazing, talking to my father and myself. When he went into hospital everyone kept me informed and he was welcomed back for his final few days.
The manager, the staff who looked after him before all came to see him. Every kindness was shown to my daughter and myself as we stayed with him for his final 4 days. Thank you.

I would recommend highly, Langford View.

My sister and I cannot believe the change in our elderly father since moving into Langford View. He has his twinkly eyes back and is enjoying life again. He settled in quickly thanks to the amazing staff and happily joins in with a wide range of activities. He told us the staff have done wonders and appears happier than he has been for years. Thank you so much.

We have visited the home twice, bringing child/children. Staff have been very welcoming and warm.
Residents were very happy to see the children and seem content in their surroundings and with activities offered to them.

We enjoy visiting and will be coming regularly.

My mother has been at Langford for around a year now and I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We moved my Mum as we felt she was declining at the previous facility. There has been a marked improvement in her general health since that time. My Mum is not always easy and I find the staff deal with this exceptionally well.

Last year it was decided that my 94-year-old mum required full-time nursing care. When I first stepped into Langford View I was impressed with the warmth and friendliness that surrounds the building. Mum has been in another care home on a temporary basis so we have somewhere to compare with. Mum has settled in at Langford View and is very happy there. She has recently said, "The carers are now her friends". That is all I could wish for. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and always done with a smile.

My mother first came to stay in March 2017. Langford View became her home until her death on 14th April 2018. Mum got to know here carers very well in the past 12/13 months. As a family, we have been very happy with the support from the Langford View staff.

This is a very happy home and we have all enjoyed being associated with the people we have met.
