The day I came to visit and my husband's bed had been moved to a different position (he was apparently, always trying to get out of be). He wasn't too pleased and neither was I. I went to speak to the manageress, who listened sympathetically, considered my request that the bed be returned to its
original position; and then immediately called the maintainance man and then herself supervised the removal of my husbands bed to its original position.

Staff always considerate and kind. However, they do seem to have been under pressure recently and Mum has been worried on occasion that they are working so hard to deliver such excellent care. She continues to be happy and well cared for.

It was a pleasure to visit my step mother this week at Barchester Ashchurch View. This was the first time I have been there, and I was singularly impressed by the staff and the quality of the care. The staff were very helpful and even gave us a cup of tea whilst we waited for my step mums personal
care to be completed.
The room my step mother was is, was spacious and clean. My step mother was happy and content in her world despite suffering from dementia. I compare this to the care home (in Liverpool) that my father spent the last few years of his life, where the space was small and dark and the staff clearly overstretched. In comparison, Barchester Ashchurch view scores way, way higher. I'm very glad that my lovely step mum can spend what is left of her time so well looked after.

Really positive experience. The staff are very caring and helpful, the food is fantastic and the residents are very well cared for. The property is very well maintained and is currently being renovated to a very high standard.

Dad needed high quality nursing care following a stay in hospital, so we chose Ashchurch View. The care he has received so far has been first class- everyone is so friendly and professional, and the home is very well equipped to cater for dad's needs. Thank you so much for easing our worries as we

I was so pleased I put dad into this care home. At first he wasn't too happy but eventually he settled in and for most enjoyed the peace. The company of carers looking after him. The nurses keeping an eye on him. He enjoyed watching the TV in his room. The food and drink was excellent He always
looked so clean shaven and tidy, right up till the end.

Ashchurch View is simply amazing
My father recieves the best care that we could ask for.
The staff are so kind and gentle.
The best thing is the garden he loves sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying the birds and plants. We are so grateful.

My husband has been in the Red Rose Suite for dementia care since 4/1/25 and I chose Ashchurch View care homebecause my dad had been a resident there 7 years ago and I was so impressed with the level of care and ambience of the home. I am of the same opinion now with the care my husband has received
this year. All my impressions have convinced me that the carers are second to none are always cheerful, supportive and they provide the best quality of life possible - plenty of lively activities catering for all tastes. The food is excellent and very tasty and everyone works as a team to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and they are supportive to residents and relatives alike in what can be a traumatic time when decisions have to be made to leave your own home. I feel very reassured that my husband is receiving the best possible care.

The care/support Mum received when she was sick the out of hours Doctor contacted me with his support Mum was better in no time also carer called next day to put my mind at rest. The food is excellent Mum really enjoys her food, cakes in the cafe my Husband enjoys them!!

I was shown around by the receptionist, without haste and plenty of time to ask questions. The home was clean & tidy, everyone staff and residents spoke to us, residents appear happy and content. The home has a good layout, a nice courtyard, garden in the centre. Everyone was welcoming. We spoke
with the manager again, no haste and our questions answered. We were very happy with what we saw and Dad has moved in.

My Aunt has been a resident for approx 2 years. She has recieved a great level of care from the staff. She is well cared for and very comfortable here. Family very much appreciate the care that the staff give to her.

I found the care home to be very accomodating and helpful. With my daughter we were shown round the home prior to my husbands admission. We found all staff extremely pleasant and willing to explain and answer our questions and concerns.

My experience of Ashchurch has been amazing. The care given to my mum is first class. I have never has any reason to complain. I know that she is well looked after and was the best care for which I am truly grateful. Standards in the home, care, cleanliness, food are all first class.

I have been visiting Ashchurch View for over 5 years with my Pets as Therapy dog. That says a lot about the home and the quality of care I've personally seen over that time
We always receive a very warm welcome from staff and residents alike.
The rooms are lovely and spacious and clean and well
maintained.
There is always an excellent display of flowers and plants as you approach the home. You can tell that a lot of work and pride goes into the gardens
Ashchurch View are very fortunate to have their activities coordinator as their activities coordinator. The range of events and outings she has introduced is brilliant. She is very caring and tries to make a difference to every resident.
I've also been told by a number of the residents that the food is delicious too.

Ashchurch View is a clean and pleasant space. The staff are very professional in what they do. My wife is cared for 24/7 and treated with dignity and respect.

My friend has treated with great care, dignity and respect. Any assistance needed was quickly at hand. Staff were always ready to help respond to questions and give time to listen to questions or requests for assistance. The compassionate care when my friend died was a great comfort to me.

A very good care home, well looked after and beautifully decorated. Dad has been looked after with very high standard of care. Staff are very happy, smiling and always very helpful, would recommend Barchester Ashchurch View.
