I have visited this home for over a year every week I find the home excellent and the staff very helpful and kind
My husband had 4 weeks respite care in Bowbridge Court where he was extremely well looked after. He went in as an emergency due to recovering from double pneumonia and struggling to walk. The staff encouraged him (with patience) to walk and join in the activities, which he came to enjoy. The cleanliness and the food were extremely good, also the laundry dept kept his clothes clean. He always looked nice when I visited. He was treated with kindness and nothing was too much trouble from the staff.
I visited my brother who has been at Bowbridge Court for 3 weeks on a trail months period. He was clean, well dressed, sitting in the lounge where he likes chatting with other residents. We went out to the YMCA for lunch and had a good afternoon. It was good to see him in good spirits, and the staff were most helpful, both to him and to me.
Dad was discharged from hospital to Bowbridge Court after two weeks of being unwell. He was frail, tired and completely overwhelmed. On arrival at the home, we were greeted by the friendly staff, who immediately got to work setting dad in to his room. I now able to have lunch with dad and I left him with a real sense of relief, knowing that he was in safe hands. I am so grateful for the care and attention to detail from the amazing team. Thank you!
My friend is very happy Says the staff is very helpful and have got time for you, and he will be back.
It has been very interesting. Got to know some wonderful people whom I shall miss when I leave. I was looked after a LOT. Wonderful, if I was on medication + need care. I just limp on a rollater. As I am on a veggie easy-to-eat diet I get special wonderful food, esp. The curry It was a bit intrusive. Ones door being opened at 2. AM letting in the light + waking me up. As a poor sleeper I often did not get back to sleep. Also they might knock
Home is so welcoming by all staff, they all go above and beyond their duties, friendly caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. I couldn't have put my mother-in-law in better hands, what a wonderful home. I am so pleased and happy that my mother-in-law's years at Bowbridge Court was a comfortable, pleasant, enjoyable time until her passing and was there until the end which meant alot to all her family. Thankyou all for your hard work.
I am always bowled over by the cleanliness and warm feeling in Bowbridge Court. The staff are caring, friendly and kind. They have the patience and thought to take each resident and their individual needs to heart. My mum has been at Bowbridge Court now for 6 months and she and her family couldn't be happier. To the manager and all the team - thank you for all that you do.
This was a difficult time, of illness, anxiety and unwanted change. All of the staff, but particularly those in senior roles, were exemplary. Not only did they treat you as an individual, they treated you with such professionalism, sensitivity and with humour, it felt like home from home - yet you felt safe and in the knowledge medical needs were met. Great communication with friends and relatives. Heartfelt thanks.
My mum has been a resident for over seven years and, in all that time, we have never had any concerns relative to her well-being and the care she has been given. The staff are wonderfully attentive and have, obviously, learned her likes and dislikes and the best way to treat her and try to put a smile on her face.
My Mother ages 90 had a recent fall and could no longer look after herself. We visited 5 care homes in the local area and this was by far the best. The staff were amazing from start to finish - it was faultless. My Mother is now settled and is very happy. The food, care, and friendliness have made a difficult transition so much easier. Thank you.
My friend lives alone in a small village. She underwent a replacement knee operation. Therefore, chose to recuperate a little before going home. She was well supported by staff and the room had everything she needed.
Helpful two-week stay made me appreciate that whilst supportive and lovely staff, I'm not quite ready for a care home yet! Enjoyed the activities.
Bowbridge Court has provided excellent care not just for my wife but also for the rest of her family at a time which might otherwise have proved daunting and very upsetting for us all. All of our questions and special requests have been addressed in such a way that my wife's unease has been minimised.
My mother-in-law has blossomed since being here at Bowbridge Court, and we are now looking to get her health problems back on track.
We have total confidence in the staff at Bowbridge Court to care for Mum in the best, most compassionate and professional way that's possible. Her needs and wants are always addressed as far as possible and with consideration and concern for her personal dignity. It seems as though the staff here are both dedicated and happy in their work, and this shows in the way they interact with Mum - exactly as we would wish.
Picked the right care home - didn't need to shop around.
A very friendly caring home. Welcoming staff, my friend is well looked after in a very nice environment. Food is very good. She always seems happy.
Excellent service and care of my mum. Responding well to change in Mum's needs. Lovely, friendly staff. Only slight issues with cleanliness around Muim's chair and the often messy state of her wardrobe.
