General satisfaction, Christmas just passed there was a general faint smell of urine. Fees always seem to increase by the maximum allowable, and the unforeseen caveat seems to have been used more than once in the past 3 years.

Have been visiting for over 2 months and feel a welcoming homely atmosphere. All staff Ive met in corridors give a cheerful greeting.
I like the daily activities sheet showing what activities and outings are planned.
My only advice observation is the lack of offers of afternoon cuppas which I
know would be adopted by the resident I visit. It concerns me that fluid intake could be inadequate and could result in urinal infections.
I could not comment on the value for money question as have no knowledge of fees but feel sure they should be sufficient to cover the cost of a smiling face. Greeting my friend with a cup of tea in their hand.

We have had some experience of other care homes in the past but Maids Moreton Hall exceeds these by far.
The staff are always very helpful, caring and knowledgeable whenever we visit my mother-in-law.
There is a great varied range of activities on offer as well as trips out to cafes, coffee shops
etc which makes a nice treat each week.
The room is of a good size, is clean and well maintained.
Being located in the countryside, there is a lovely garden to enjoy in the warmer months and residents being able walk around it to enjoy the flowers etc.
The food on offer is of a very high standard with a great selection of choice each week.
The communication from the home regarding my mother's health, wellbeing and 'Resident of the day' is excellent as it is good to be kept up to date with what is going on with her.
We are really grateful to all the wonderful staff who combined, give us peace of mind that mum is in the best possible place where she is looked after 24hours a day. Thank you all.

4 years ago, after much online research followed by visiting 3 different homes, we came away from our visit to Maids Moreton Hall (MMH)with a feeling that this one was right for my mother. It was the warm welcome, the friendliness of all the staff we saw, and the openness and sincerity that
instilled trust and reassurance when we left. Now, after 3.5 years of residency, which included both residential and reminiscence, our initial impressions have been more than justified and exceeded. There have been challenges and difficult decision but the caring staff in every role created such a homely atmosphere for the residents and the relatives. A family environment prevails and is nurtured, which makes the difference and is very comforting. Ensuring new staff "tune in" to these standards, maintain, and further improve them, could be challenging but essential if the caring family ethos is to continue. Having been closely involved in this "community" whilst sad at our own loss, we can honestly say that we made the right decision 4 years ago. MMH is different, unique, so thank you.

In general, we are very happy with the care. Few minor issues, I wish there was more staff retention as we have noticed staff changing more recently in the past year.
My dad is happy which is most important.

My father moved to the residential unit of the home in September 2023 which enabled him to continue to enjoy a good quality of life still following his dementia diagnosis. He really enjoyed it there and always had a cheeky smile and a joke with the lovely care staff who catered to his needs very
well.
Sadly his health deteriorated even more and he was moved onto the nursing unit in June 25 for his end of life care.
The amazing nurse's and care staff made sure that Dads end of life care was with the utmost compassion, care and dignity. I could not have asked for anymore and they also made sure Dads family were kept informed and well supported at such a difficult time.
I will never forget this wonderful team of people that looked after my Dad over the 2 Years he was there. Truly outstanding care

Visited a friend who has been a resident for 5 months. Physical ability is very limited - bed/wheelchair bound. Mental ability excellent, highly intelligent, academic, and excellent recall. Some very slight confusion. I was very impressed with the efficient, helpful staff. Airy, bright,
exceptionally tidy and clean. The resident is very comfortable, accepting of the situation and warmly appreciative of the staff. Seems an appropriate exceptional placement for them.

My mother was at MMH for 4 years and my father in law has been here for 3 years. I have always found the staff to be friendly, approachable and professional in their dealings with everyone. There is a good range of activities and a lovely garden. Overall I am very satisfied with the care provided by
MMH.

We chose MMH because it seemed friendly and had a buzz about it that we thought mum would like. We had also asked local people about its reputation and received very positive responses. We have not be disappointed. The home is warm, welcoming and friendly. All staff go out of their way the care,
help and support both the residents and their families. We honestly were doubtful whether this move would work, but I have to say that it is an outstanding success. I cannot thank the staff at MMH enough.

My father had a last-minute admission for respite care following a hospital stay after a stroke. Maids Moreton Hall was most welcoming at a time of high stress levels and family worries. They provided that vital transition between acute hospital care and getting home. I was really impressed with the
staff who were so kind to my dad, thank you from all of the family.

My dad moved into the home during Covid, which was a scary time for the world. Maids Moreton Hall made the transition painless and with the pod, we were still able to visit. Three years later, my dad is a happy, settled resident, who participates in all sorts of activities. The care staff are all
amazing with his complex needs, and it now feels like I have a huge extended family.

I chose Maids Moreton Hall for my mother who had been living on her own in Devon and had a stroke so she knew she could no longer cope at home. I was impressed when I visited the Hall. She has settled in well - the staff are so friendly and everyone has a smile for residents. The home has a very
happy atmosphere and is very comfortable like a hotel. They have plenty of activities and trips out to keep residents busy and now the weather is warming up they can all enjoy the lovely gardens. The food is excellent and there is always plenty of choice for whatever residents would like. The home is also very hot on communication with regular residents and family meetings. Overall we are very impressed and Mum is now settling in well and making friends. I would recommend it to anybody.
