Due to necessity I desparatley needed respite care for my husband and was reluctant to leave him in the care of others. After visiting several care homes I knew that Bridge House was the place - how lucky I was to find such a place. He was made so welcome I immediately felt love and care from all. Time has past with my husband having regular respite and daycare at Bridge House it has become our second family. Everyone knows each other and the love and expertise from all staff and a excellant, caring management. The support by all in Bridge House has been amazing for which I am most grateful.
October has been a month of lots of different and interesting things that Rosemary has been able to join in with. This is the point that there is always during the day something that residents can join in with. However my mum loves motorbikes and we do take her to Oxford Speedway. Bridge House did a residents wish to go to the motorbike café. The trip was full but the lovely Chantelle found a way that my mum and I could be included. We all had the best time and the cake was yummy. This is what makes The Bridge House Care Home special - they will always try to go above and beyond for their residents and families. Thank you x
My mother has lived here with worsening dementia for over 3 years now. It is a wonderful humane place where they treat residents with respect, care, love and a sense of joy. Nothing is too much trouble. Kindness is in everything each staff member does. There is a real sense of energy and fun. Food is wonderful, family and friends are welcomed and celebrated, premises and grounds wonderfully clean and well maintained, there is a fantastic programme of events and activities, care is considered, appropriate and respectful, nothing is hidden. I could not be more grateful for the staff's tireless smiling efforts every single day.
My aunt found being in a care home quite traumatic at first but with time and the care and gentle persuasion of the staff she has now settled in. The entertainment programme is varied and well thought out from quizzes, exercise classes and day trips. It also helps to have the same carers most of the time as residents get used to them. As a visitor I find it very welcoming
No complaints What a wonderful place to recover and get your strength back, I would have no hesitation in going back if needed. The staff are amazing, I loved every minute.
Extremely kind and caring staff for Mum and us. Nursing care was exemplary. Highly recommend.
A wonderful place to have a holiday before my wife joins me in recuperating from pneumonia from hospital.
Visiting brother. The staff all seem very helpful + competant. My brother, much deteriorated since our last visit. Seems happy, clean + well cared for. The home is lovely + well equipped.
So caring and respectful to the residents and to us visitors. An extremely well kept and well appointed home - very impressive!
My room was ready when I arrived. The meals were all generous portions and nicely served. The lunchtime meals in the bistro were shared with my visiting husband daily, with a granddaughter twice and with my daughter and her husband. All were made to feel welcome. It was useful to have the week's programme and I attended most 11:30 programmes, the afternoon concert and quiz. The keep-fit class was positive and worth attending. The afternoon concert was very entertaining and a high standard. Safety and security, anyone could come in any time.
Wow! This place blows me away. Since my lovely dad arrived in November, he has only received five-star treatment. I cannot thank each and every staff member enough. Their positive and 'will do' attitude is outstanding. Seeing my dad with a huge smile on his face is priceless and I will be forever grateful. Thank you Bridge House Care Home from the bottom of my heart.
I have come back for three weeks respite into Bridge House Care Home as I know I will be well looked after and cared for. The nurses and staff look after my every need and get me back to eating properly and ready to go home again. This is my second time at Bridge House. The home is spotless and well-run. My room is lovely. The staff are all helpful and friendly. Activities every day and plenty of tea and coffee and food. There is a cinema, gym, beauty and hair salon. You could wish for nothing else, it's a happy place.
Bridge House Care Home provides excellent care and service to the residents. My father was happy and well cared for in the ten weeks he was here. His family were always treated with care and respect as was my father.
My friend lives in Bridge House Care Home and loves the place. The carers are helpful, friendly. Housekeeper helpful. Such a lovely place. Clean, tidy and relaxing home. Enjoying coming in to see everyone.
I recently spent a day at Bridge House Care Home and the experience was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Staff's warmth and professionalism made me feel welcome and at ease. The facility was spotless and the comfortable atmosphere contributed to a sense of peace and wellbeing. Overall, Bridge House is providing outstanding care to my dad with a welcoming, clean and supportive environment. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking high quality nursing home care.
I visited bridge care home to see my uncle. It was a great experience. The atmosphere of the home was very pleasant. I loved the place and staff are very cooperative and trained. My uncle shared his experience with me. He was very happy.
The home is beautiful, like being in a stately home. There are carers ready to take account of your smallest need and to do it with a warm, friendly smile. I stayed at the home for a short time as I have a lot of pain and have no one to care for me at home. However, I did find the lack of personal autonomy difficult so will try to find additional support in my home.
My wife has been at Bridge House Care Home for two and a half years suffering from advanced dementia. She is generally happy in Bridge House and as I see her once a week, I have seen the high standard of care and life she has been encouraged to take part in activities, the home is good value for money and hopefully, despite ing=flamitory costs, the increase next year will be less than 8%.
We are looked after very well.
