She was always well looked after with staff who not only looked after her practical needs but would spend time with her. When her needs increased the staff were great at keeping her warm and clean and cared for, popping in to see her regularly. On her passing the home was very understanding. The
staff helped support me with kind words, hugs and cups of tea.Thank you.

My uncle has been residing at Wetherby Manor since May 2025. During the past months the exemplary care provided to him has made such a positive and significant impact on his physical and emotional wellbeing. During every visit he tells me that the food is well balanced and so good for his health.
The staff are always very kind to him and I am extremely grateful for the compassion, kindness, respect and wonderful high standards of professional care being provided for my uncle. My uncle feels safe and has peace of mind which means the world. Thank you.

My mother was at Wetherby Manor for 2 1/2 years. She had dementia. Her care and love from all members of staff was first class. I wish her room had better beds/mattresses and a reclining chair.
Upon her final days, all staff were fantastic, dignified and helpful. I cannot fault the staff. The
management was very separate but nonetheless efficient.

I cannot state strongly enough the high level of care provided to not only mum but towards ourselves too.
The staff are adaptable to mums changing needs. Without promoting the care and care plans are amended to meet her needs.
Always respectful, always on the ball (if not ahead of it) and always
wonderful
This goes to all members of the team. It's like a caring immunity rather than a care home. Care is teamwork and it feels great to be involved every step of the way

My mum received the very best of care throughout her 3 1/2 years at Wetherby Manor. She then received both professional and compassionate nursing care during her final days where she remained as loved and comfortable as we could possibly hope for.

As a retired nurse, I recognise good care when I see it and good care is consistently offered to both my parents at Wetherby Manor. The staff are friendly and very well trained, maintaining excellent standards and seemingly genuinely fond of mum and dad. I live some distance away, so I cannot visit
as often as I would like, so it is reassuring to know they are in such safe and kind hands. Thank you.

Unfortunately, my wife needed emergency care because I required the immediate fitting of a pacemaker. My wife was very pleased that a respite bed was available for her. She had suffered for many years from Parkinson's so her needs were many. I cannot speak more highly of the care and love she
received form all the staff during her time here until her death on 12th July 2025. Wetherby Manor is an exceptional organisation and is a credit to the Anchor Brand.

Wetherby Manor staff provide excellent care for my aunt. I live 260 miles away but I know that when I can visit my aunt she is always very happy and content. She loves the staff, the catering and appreciates all of my aunts health and wellbeing and they are always very helpful when I visit. They are

We found a very pleasant environment and a warm welcome. The staff are very friendly and the manager camera to talk to us. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and it is lovely to look out at the immaculate gardens. We enjoyed tea and cake in the lounge whilst our friend had an appointment. It is
like being in a nice hotel with the staff in smart uniforms - and the attractive decor.

I feel safe here.
The staff - management, carers, cleaners, people in the laundry/the kitchen staff and those dealing with meds are excellent.
Kindness, patience, thoughtfulness, care and friendliness are always present.
Although there is nowhere like your own home and there are niggles - I am
happy here.

I wanted to praise the hospitality staff at Wetherby Manor. The manager and his team are wonderful. I have been visiting Mum most days for over a year now. They have always offered me a drink and infact now it just arrives!! A lovely touch! The bar and dining room are always immaculate and nothing
is too much trouble. I know a lot of effort goes on behind the scenes to ensure things run so smoothly. Mum is looking forward to the new chef starting on Monday andI really hope he fits in and is an asset to the team.

The vulnerability I was beginning to feel at home was soon dissipated when I came to Wetherby Manor for respite care after a short stay in hospital. I can say, without hesitation, that every member of staff is empathetic and dedicated to caring for each and every resident to the highest of standards
and professionalism. The highest priority is given to the well being of each and every resident, from the comfort of the accommodation to well cooked and nutritious food served in sociable surroundings with care taken with individual tastes. There are various opportunities for social interaction if you should wish from concerts to quizzes to handicrafts and films to watch. Of course it goes without saying that the medical care is second to none.

My very elderly grandma is a resident at Wetherby Manor and myself and/or my family visit most days. Although she can get confused and forgetful, my grandma only ever has nice things to say about the staff. She likes seeing them when they check on her or when they take her downstairs, and they
brighten her days. We feel they know her well and always treat her with kindness and patience. The staff respond well to any queries and nothing is too much trouble. It was a difficult decision moving her into a home but we definitely feel reassured that Wetherby Manor is the best place we could have found for her.
