View Full Details of The Chestnut LodgeMy now late mother lived at Chestnut Lodge for over 5 years; as a family we were delighted to find such a lovely place for her to stay. The staff were always so kind and caring to her, treating her very much like their own granny. They also extended their support to us as family members which we have always appreciated - nothing was ever too much trouble. The home itself has always been extremely well maintained and is constantly being updated and improved and the facilities afforded to the residents are spot-on. Extending our thanks to the manager and all of her staff doesn't seem enough, but the peace of mind that we enjoyed and the loving care given to our mother was appreciated so much.
I would like to thank all the staff at Chestnut Lodge for looking after my Mum these past few years. You provided her with all the support and care she needed and more - it was a comfort to know that she was safe and in the hands of such caring and sympathetic staff - I am so grateful.

A beautiful and welcoming care home. All staff go beyond expectations. Happy residents who speak highly of this care home.
My partner has been at The Chestnut Lodge for a while. I must say that with every visit all the staff have been wonderful, so friendly and helpful.
My dad has been a resident at The Chestnut Lodge, Tonbridge for over 4 years. During that time I visit often at irregular intervals and have always found Dad to be well looked after and the staff to be kind and friendly. Today, my mother and I attended a Christmas meal put on for us by the staff for the residents and their families. The room was beautifully decorated, down to tiny details, the meal was well prepared and the attention paid to us by the staff was exemplary. Overall, the Christmas meal was, in my experience, totally consistent with how Chestnut Lodge functions, the work and attitude of the staff and the level of care and communication I have witnessed. I would recommend Chestnut Lodge to anyone needing care for a loved one.

There is a warm welcome to new residents at Chestnut Lodge and my mum settled in quickly. The management staff are exceptional, so friendly and helpful, and make things so much easier for relatives at a difficult time. The care staff are friendly, supportive and genuine in the care they provide to the residents. The home is a well adapted building providing good access on all levels, and the bedrooms are clean, fresh and airy with en-suites. Above all, the care provided here is excellent, delivered in a compassionate and authentic way. There are lots of smiles that greet you from the manager and receptionist, to all the care staff on duty. I have no hesitation in recommending this care home.
My wife passed away recently, have been at Chestnut for 2.5 years. I can never thank the staff enough for all their patience and dedication. No matter their job. They all carried it out with a smile and compassion and a few tears as well, especially in the last couple of days. Thank you so much for helping me as well.
My husband was very happy there. The carers were lovely so caring and they kept him so clean. He had quite a long beard and they managed to shave it off. He would never let me shave him so I was so pleased as he looked 10 years young. It was a pleasure going to visit him as he always had a smile on his face. If I ever wanted another respite I would certainly send him to this lovely care home.
