This is a comfortable, welcoming and efficient care home. My mum has been a resident here for nearly 2 years and she is very happy and very well looked after 24 hours of the day. Over that time the home have taken on board feedback and improvements/changes are evident so they act on, and encourage,
feedback which is a huge positive. The management are very visible and know the residents by name.
The decor is very relaxing and tasteful compared with other homes.
Activities are very good although I think more could be done here to engage residents in with more tailored activities in smaller groups. Example one group may be watching a film and another group, in a smaller area, doing some in chair exercises or painting or discussing the daily newspaper. I love the fact the carers get residents out into the communal lounge area as much as they can as well as eating together in the dining area.
Food/Drink is of a very high standard although I believe this could offer more variety.

Absolutely top notch home. Brilliant atmosphere, always sweet smelling and the staff are friendly, warm and caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Chiltern Grange for complete peace of mind in knowing your relative is in the best hands.

Our first introduction to Chiltern Grange was with Jackie. We needed very short notice rehabilitation care for my Father post surgery. Jackie was incredibly understanding and amazingly responsive. We viewed several options and selected Chiltern Grange based on the quality of the facilities ,
including bright, practical and recently refurbished ground floor rooms. All the staff we met were very caring and welcoming. My father has decided to extend his stay at Chiltern Grange and has transitioned from rehabilitation to long term care based on his experiences over the last 3 months. Thank you to all the staff for the care and friendship you all extend to my father.

The care my wife has recieved over the past 9 months from the staff has been consistantly genuine which is very reassuring, she was previously in another care home where the staff were less interested in the residents.
The enthusiasm and direction from the management team provides a positive
envoirenment which is reflected by the staff in all parts of the home.
There are a range of facilities and and common rooms in the building providing alternative places which the residents and relatives can use, and very pleaseant gardens which means that residents can enjoy outside space and fresh air.
The residents rooms are spacious en-suite and well laid out.
It is not easy being parted from my wife but there is no difficulty seeing her whenever I want to visit., and most other visiting relatives of residents seem relaxed and comfortable to chat to which adds to a pleasant and natural atmosphere.

We really couldn't have asked for better care for our mum while she was with you. We are very grateful for the care, compassion, thoughtfulness and patience shown by the wonderful team at Chiltern Grange, and for making my mum feel as welcome and comfortable as they possibly could. The family were
also made to feel very welcome whenever we visited and staff members took the time to get to know us. To know that our mum was being cared for so well brought us great comfort at what could have been a very difficult time for us all.
We would highly recommend Chiltern Grange.

When my Dad's dementia was advanced we had to find a local care home in Buckinghamshire where he would be well looked after. Having visited Chiltern Grange it was evident that we had found exactly the right place as it stood out head and shoulders above the rest. Not only was it situated in the
Chiltern Hills close to my family home with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and set in beautiful landscaped gardens, but the building was modern and spacious with well-appointed bedrooms, excellent communal living spaces, delicious nutritional meals, fun activities and regular entertainment. However, what makes Chiltern Grange really special are the people. Both the staff and volunteers are welcoming, friendly, warm, polite, compassionate, respectful and above all else exceedingly caring. My Mum was so impressed with the home that she has decided to live there permanently as well. Although sadly my Dad has now passed I take comfort from knowing my Mum could not be in safer hands.

Fantastc in every way , staff so caring
Spotlessly clean
31 July 2025
My Father has been a resident at Chiltern Grange for a year now. He has Alzheimer's.
All the staff there are wonderful, every time we arrive we are met by happy smiling polite members of staff, who ask how we are and are willing to help us straight away.
The level of care, patience and compassion
my dad receives is incredible, the food is always delicious and the place is spotlessly clean.
When someone you love has this condition and you have to hand them over to strangers to be cared for it can be very distressing, but because of the care he is receiving we can all relax a bit. It really is so comforting for me, my dad's wife, his granddaughter, all the rest of my dad's family and his close friends, who visit on a regular basis.
I cannot thank every member of staff at Chiltern Grange enough for being the team they are.

Over the past year, whenever we have visited our friend here, he has seemed increasingly comfortable and 'at home' and as visitors we too feel very at ease and welcome in the relaxed atmosphere such that we positively look forward to our regular visits. The staff are so attentive and, most
importantly, kind and patient in their care.

My brother sufferers from Alzheimer's and mercifully my sister in law found Chiltern Grange .
The staff are exceptional people ! Nothing is too much trouble.
The building is tastefully furnished and you truly feel like you are in a hotel rather than a care home !
The meals are outstanding and
the attention to detail in the restaurant is so uplifting for the clients but their families too - flowers on the tables to name a few extra things that make it special .
I can sleep at night knowing my beloved brother is being well cared for and no harm will come to him in their care .
I only wish I was closer in distance to visit him more often .
A million thank you's to all the staff !

offering lovely views of the grounds and surrounding fields. There's a welcoming bistro area for family and friends to enjoy refreshments with their loved ones. The chef is fantastic and the food is always freshly cooked and varied. There are always lots of fun, creative activities for residents, with regular entertainment and themed events like summer and Christmas parties with live music and family involvement. My grandma is treated with dignity and compassion every day. The management team are exceptional - kind, caring, and care deeply about the residents. Having experienced other care homes in the past, I can confidently say Chiltern Grange outshines them all.

comfortable, calm, and surrounded by warmth. From the way they speak to her, to the small comforts they remember - every gesture is filled with genuine care. We needed a care home, emphasis on care, for my Dad, he was on palliative/end of life care and was welcomed, as was all his family, (and family dogs) with open arms and the care and consideration that you would hope and pray for, is exactly what is provided at Chiltern Grange, in abundance.
My
Dad was only with Chiltern Grange for around 17 days and yet in that short space of time, Chiltern Grange became our new normal, and a new home. To be able to spend every minute with Dad was priceless, as one member of the family left another couple arrived and so it went on. From the minute you step through the first set of doors you're made to feel like family and welcomed with open arms.
The food was lovely, help yourself to drinks and snacks at the Bistro in the reception area.

My grandmother has been at Chiltern Grange Care Home for just over a year and I cannot praise the staff enough. Due to the severity of her dementia, no other facilities were able to support her needs but the exemplary staff at Chiltern have taken amazing care of her. From the variety of activities,
great food, welcoming environment, clean facilities and professional staff. My entire family are happy to visit. It turns what was previously an upsetting situation of visiting a care facility, into a pleasant one. Knowing my nan is being cared for with dignity and respect allows us to focus on creating special moments with her, instead of worrying about her when we leave.
Thank you everyone.

We visit my brother-in-law at least once a week. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The food looks very appetising and well presented. My brother-in-law's room is always clean and comfortable. He seems to enjoy the outdoor activities though enjoys his own company whilst in the home. Overall I
would recommend Chiltern Grange Care Home.

My mother, who has dementia, has now been at Chiltern Grange for just over two years. The staff are without exception caring, compassionate and professional. I can visit any time that suits me and am met by familiar faces each time. I'm always kept fully informed of any issues arising and have the
opportunity to discuss things with the managers of the floor she's on. Initially my mother was quite agitated by having to move from her flat to the care home, but over time, with the wonderful care she receives, she has become very settled and I would not want her to be anywhere else.
The care home itself has the feel of an upmarket hotel about it and is set in beautiful grounds. It has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, including individual rooms and public spaces. There's now even a bistro/coffee room on the ground floor for residents and their guests.
I highly recommend Chiltern Grange and would happily give it more that the five stars allowed.

Chiltern Grange is an amazing residential care home with the look and feel of a five star hotel.
I suddenly had to move a relative from a hospital ward 100 miles away to be closer to the family. From my first visit to a week later when my mother in law moved in, everything went smoothly and I was
so pleased to have found the perfect place. Her room was large and beautifully furnished and she was able to bring small pieces of furniture and her numerous family photographs from her own home which helped her settle in quickly.
All the staff are wonderful.
They are all so friendly, kind, and compassionate from the cleaners, laundry staff and reception staff to the carers and nursing staff and it was so reassuring to see the same familiar staff every day when we visited.
My mother in law was nearing the end of her life when she came to stay at Chiltern Grange but with the fantastic professional care of all the staff she had a dignified, comfortable and peaceful passing.
