Excellent care home, especially for Dementia patients. Level of care and service provided is second to none. The activities they lay on for the residents is well thought out and encourages the resident to relax.

Mum came in for respite but is now a full time resident,cannot thank everyone enough for all they do for mum on daily basis,the staff are friendly and always helpful,food is amazing,and just an all round wonderful place.

Mum has settled really well into Orchid Care Home and she is enjoying socialising in the lounge, during meal times and with all the activities she has joined in with. It is great when I go to visit her as I can now spend quality time with her and she feels secure knowing that people are around if she needs them.

Very satisfied. Feel my mother is well cared for, safe, secure and entertained/occupied every day. She seems very comfortable and happy within her environment and surroundings. The staff are amazing in terms of their care and friendliness.

My mother has been at Orchid for 2.5 years now and I cannot fault the care she has received or the facilities provided to make her life comfortable and as fulfilling as possible. Her room is always spotlessly clean as is the whole building. She is always in clean clothes and well cared for. The activities team are fantastic at coming up with new and interesting activities for the residents and spending time with them in a group and individually.

The moment you step in Orchid Care home you are always greeted with a warm welcome. The receptionist are always so kind and helpful, Manager /Managers are always there for you if you have any concerns. The care given is always very good and if you need anything to help with your loved one the carers will always smile and help out, they are kind and compassionate which means so much when you leave and know your mum will be looked after

Mum is so well cared for and involved in many varied activities on a weekly basis. She is also very, very well fed! Mum has taken a while to settle but this has been due to her medical condition. The staff have been so kind in helping her feel at home.

I can't fault the care Mum has received at orchid over the years. The staff really care about their residents and go the extra mile for them continually. Most importantly, Mum is very well cared for. Compared to her previous care homes, she's much calmer and more settled which means she feels safe and comfortable. For such a busy unit, it always feels calm and relaxed. The home is always clean and well maintained. There always appear to be sufficient staff who are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Food appears good and plentiful for those with a healthy appetite. Mum needs to be fed but is never rushed, feeding is at her pace. I'm always kept up to date about Mum's care. I'm unable to visit as often as I'd like but I trust the staff completely. This is Mum's third care home and I don't have to worry about her constantly since she's been with Orchid. Thank you.

I would like to thank the excellent nurses and care staff that provided such kind and loving care to my mother before she died. The care she received was exceptional and also the care to my family during such a difficult time.

There are no words that top excellent in each and every way. Thank you all for everything you do for Mum..from top to toe the way to go with care and ensuring our full trust and peace of mind. Mum is safe in an environment she loves.

My mother has been in the care of the team at Orchid for over four years now and has always been looked after exceptionally well. The staff and management are of the highest quality and standard; I could not have chosen a better place for my mother.

The care my husband has here is amazing . Home is super clean - staff friendly & caring & are so genuine . Food variety is good & varied . The activity team bring a great variety each day to cater for all levels of residents here . Live music events & special themed days give fun to the residents & family members . The management team run a tight ship and are always open & honest with relatives - they have given me alot of support . The health & welfare of the residents is their no 1 priority . So happy my husband lives here as it's a great home & I know he is loved & cared for at all times

What a fun time, great stalls, super BBQ, lots of drinks and cakes. Lovely entertainment enjoyed by all.

I am always welcomed when I visit my friend at Orchid Care Home. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My friend feels very well cared for, and the nursing care has really helped him. We are impressed at the number of activities that Orchid run. The regular church service on a Monday, as well as all the music events, really help in making the home a community. We very much enjoyed the colourful, fun, fete run in the gardens and the very successful day trip to the local wildlife park recently. Well done, Orchid!

My father-in-law is treated very well at Orchid. ]The cleanliness is superb, staff are polite and friendly. He has complained about the food a few times. But overall excellent all round.

Father's day afternoon 'party in the pub' - many thanks to two members of staff for a lovely afternoon with dad - remembering!! The staff are so good and dad tells me he feels safe.

A very pleasant experience, came for fathers day in the cinema room. Staff were all very lovely and welcoming. The place was very clean! Had a wide variety of food, drinks and games for everyone to enjoy and play together.
