Mum has been here for 6 months. Absolutely amazing care. Staff are so helpful and so kind.

What a fun time, great stalls, super BBQ, lots of drinks and cakes. Lovely entertainment enjoyed by all.

I am always welcomed when I visit my friend at Orchid Care Home. Staff are always friendly and helpful. My friend feels very well cared for, and the nursing care has really helped him. We are impressed at the number of activities that Orchid run. The regular church service on a Monday, as well as all the music events, really help in making the home a community. We very much enjoyed the colourful, fun, fete run in the gardens and the very successful day trip to the local wildlife park recently. Well done, Orchid!

My father-in-law is treated very well at Orchid. ]The cleanliness is superb, staff are polite and friendly. He has complained about the food a few times. But overall excellent all round.

Father's day afternoon 'party in the pub' - many thanks to two members of staff for a lovely afternoon with dad - remembering!! The staff are so good and dad tells me he feels safe.

A very pleasant experience, came for fathers day in the cinema room. Staff were all very lovely and welcoming. The place was very clean! Had a wide variety of food, drinks and games for everyone to enjoy and play together.

We enjoyed joining dad for fathers day in the pub, dad enjoyed burgers and chips and a lager shandy. Orchid activity team did a super job decorating the room and providing snacks and drinks. The staff are kind and attentive and ensured both dad and his family were well cared for. We are always so impressed with the carefully thought out activities that the team run.

Staff at Orchid Care Home are wonderful, kind, considerate and any worries you may have regarding your loved one, they will keep you informed of all if any worries you may have.

My parent is really well cared for by patient and kind professionals. There are lots of interesting and diverse activities that they can get involved in. It's a lovely place and the staff are respectful but also caring and knowledgeable regarding my parent's needs. I really enjoyed the Mother's Day afternoon tea and all the effort that went into it.

Orchid is a wonderful home, with excellent staff who really care about their residents. facilities are excellent and the activities team really do go above and beyond to facilitate the needs and wants of residents. Highly recommend.

Mother's Day afternoon tea provided by the home was excellent. It showed that a lot of thought had gone into the provision of the tea. Staff made sure we were very welcome.

We have no complaints about Orchid. It meets all our mum's needs and more. It's clean, friednly and efficient. Activities to do or quiet if she wants it. This afternoon was Mother's Day tea party, very well presented and enjoyed by all. This is a lovely place and very happy to have Mum here.

Attended after noon tea for Mother's Day and as always was greeted with a cheery smile and welcome from all staff. Always find the staff pleasant. I feel my mum is happy here, and she has a very pleasant room.

Today I have spent time with my mother-in-law at a Mother's Day Tea, sandwiches, cakes, scones, tea coffee, gifts of sweets for all mums. What a wonderful way to celebrate our mothers. I wish to say a huge thank you to all at Orchid Care. Mother-in-law will be 100 years in November and if this is the last memory we have of being with her, then it will be all we could ask for. Orchid Care is such a caring place and we thank everyone. You are all wonderful. Thank you.

My mum has been a resident for the past 7 months. I cannot say enough about the staff at Orchid Care Home. My mum had a severe stroke last May and requires 24-hour care. She is living her best life and is so happy this is thanks to the outstanding staff who are all so kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My mum was very sociable and staff make sure the activities are enjoyed, they always made sure she can take part. Fabulous and so pleased.
