Bridgedale have been wonderful in helping my mother in law settle in. The staff are amazingly kind, patient and cheerful. They have a fantastic range of activities and the facilities make it feel like a real home.

Our lovely mum has been a resident at Bridgedale for six months.
Bridgedale is a very special place.
The building and interiors are stunning. The amazing staff are exceptional, showing unbelievable levels of kindness and dedication to the residents ensuring all aspects of their individual needs are
met at a exceptionally high standard.
All of the above has proven that choosing Bridgedale as the care provider for our lovely mum was absolutely the right decision. Lets be honest, deciding to put a loved one in residential care is such a heart wrenching thing to do. But this is the best thing we could have done for her at this point in her Dementia journey.
She is so unbelievably happy at Bridgedale which makes our hearts smile and we are so grateful.

As a family we continue to be so grateful for everything that Bridgedale does for Mum. She has been a resident now for over 12 months and has thrived on the care, support and activities that are provided for her.

Feels like a family home. Staff smiling and engaged. Food excellent. Lots of extra activities including taking them out locally- bar/ pottery paining/walk etc. treated with respect. Visitors often offered a cup of tea.

Mum is very happy in the home and is looked after very well by a great team of carers. There are activities organised for her every day which she enjoys participating in. The food is of a high quality. Her room Is very comfortable and is kept clean.

Superb in every way! Not only are my mother's physical needs well cared for, there is also a great emphasis on social and mental wellbeing. The daily activities are varied and stimulating and the carers, domestic and administrative staff all engage very frequently and genuinely with the residents.
My mum is so much happier than when she was in her own home and that is a credit to the dedication, warmth and professionalism of all the staff at Bridgedale. We unreservedly recommend this wonderful home!

The staff at Bridgedale were amazing throughout Mum's stay and in particular during her last few days.
They all went above and beyond and treated Mum with such love, dignity and care, we will be forever grateful for their kindness and compassion. Bridgedale House is a very special place and all
the residents are treated as individuals by the staff knowing all their likes, dislikes and personalities. We felt so lucky that Mum saw her last year out there and as difficult as things got with her dementia it was always reassuring that she was in safe and loving hands.

My dad has now been there 10 months. After my mum passed away we didn't expect him to have any love left for his life (61 years married). Bridgedale has provided the love and care that he needed. Despite his dementia diagnosis he says, on a daily basis, how happy he is. The staff now feel like our
family, we are so pleased we brought him to Sheffield and to Bridgedale. It's a wonderful home from home.

All the staff at Bridgedale including the manager show such commitment and dedication every day to giving the residents the best quality of life possible. They provide fantastic daily activities including life music and visits from local children to ensure the residents live a full life as possible.
The lovely dining room and quality of the food and menus is enjoyed by my mum and the other residents and I am also very grateful for that.
I have nothing but good things to say about Bridgedale and would hope, if I have to enter a care home in the future, that it is as lovely as this one.

Bridgedale House is a very special place. Each resident is treated as a unique person, loved, respected and cared for by every member of staff. The home is full of smiles and happy laughter and Mum settled in well. Friends and relatives are welcomed and supported 24/7 and are treated as part of the
wider Bridgedale family. Standards are exceptionally high and the ethos of kindness and care, which is immediately obvious on entering the home, comes directly from the managers, who are friendly, approachable and responsive. Rooms are nicely decorated and furnished; the food is excellent and the programme of activities, which changes monthly, is amazing, providing fun, stimulation, exercise and lots of treats. There is a lovely garden which the residents can enjoy on nice days; visits to local parks and museums are also arranged. Communication with families is also first-class and there is a private social media page where we can see photographs of Mum having the time of her life.

A lovely place which, on first entering to look for my mum, ticked all the boxes for her dementia care. My mum has settled in and as a family, we are all so pleased with her care and support from all of the staff at Bridgedale House.

My mum has been at Bridgedale House since February 2024. She was visited in hospital before being offered a place to make sure she could be supported and cared for. She was welcomed from day one, with kindness and professional care, with a smile. The staff demonstrate experience and knowledge,
genuinely wanting to make sure my mum is comfortable. Management communicates in a timely and confidential manner. They are professional, positive and approach any conversation with a friendly and reassuring tone.
Bridgedale House is clean and bright as is my mum's room. The conservatory, patio and gardens are well-kept and attractive. My mum enjoys sitting outside with the beautiful and safe surroundings. There are stimulating and engaging activities for each morning and afternoon. It is comforting to know that my mum is doing well, she feels safe and content with people who genuinely care for her.

Mum has been at Bridgedale for four months now and I couldn't be more pleased with all aspects of her care. The staff are genuinely caring and have taken time to get to know her well. They are always friendly and welcoming when I visit and mum has built good relationships with them all. I also find
the management extremely approachable and happy to chat.
The building is always spotless, as is Mum's room, and the garden is beautiful. When the weather has allowed, residents have also been able to sit out on the patio. Mum also enjoys sitting in the conservatory and enjoying the view of the garden.
The food always looks amazing and Mum loves her meals! Themed meals also take place and the tables are always beautifully decorated with great attention to detail.
Since moving into Bridgedale, I feel that Mum has gained an extra family; one who cares for her and wants the best for her. It is reassuring for me to have peace of mind that she is so well looked after.

Bridgedale is Managed by an exemplary lady. All the staff are caring and helpful. My father-in-law has received exceptional care and attention. I would recommend Bridgedale to anyone looking for a caring, safe, positive environment for their relative.

Everything about Bridgedale House is amazing. The facilities are great but what makes it fantastic are the staff. They are all so compassionate, caring, and skilled but more than that treat residents as the important individuals they are. They take time to learn about the resident's lives so that
their care and communication is tailored to them. I have such respect for the staff here. I couldn't wish for a better place for my mum.

My wife who suffers from dementia spent two weeks respite care in Bridgedale House.
Everything about Bridgedale in this period was excellent.
My wife was afforded great care and attention.
She remained happy and joined in the activities.
This is directly linked to the close, kind, care and help
she was given by all the staff members.
Our family all spoke well of Bridgedale, the care given to my wife and us her family.
We are very grateful to Bridgedale.

Very helpful and flexible management. A genuinely caring setting provided by motivated staff. The relaxed environment has allayed any concerns about 'putting her in a home' and she has settled well and seems happy.
