View Full Details of Beeston RiseI attended a community event at the Care Home - a Chinese themed meal. It was well attended and there was a good atmosphere. The quality of food was not as good as at previous events but there was plenty of it. Staff were friendly.
We came to the community event Chinese meal. It was lovely to attend a meal that was provided. Sadly the quality hasn't been the same since the very first meal which was Italian, amazing first class cuisine. This was average, but still a friendly atmosphere and fun evening.
always a smile from staff when going in. Always there to help you if needed. Nothing too much.
My wife and I visit my sister two or three times a week. She has been in Beeston Rise fir seven months and has settled well. She has a beautiful room with ensuite facilities. She has excellent rapport with the staff who are friendly, caring and approachable. There are many in house activities to join in and entertainment on occasions. Also she enjoys weekly cinema. We are very happy that we chose Beeston Rise.
Lovely environment with great staff. Really engaged and attentive with residents.
Beeston Rise are the epitome of perfection in care. The activities they provide, the care of the residents, the decor and furniture etc are second to none. I am so grateful to everyone for the care they take of my mum. They are a superb team, who are always smiling and willing to listen.
Mum seemded happy and settled when I picked her up & had formed a bond with some of the carers. This was the first time mum had experienced residential care & was for respite while we went on holiday. Beeston Rise is new & clean & very welcoming. We were able to go on holiday knowing that mum was in safe hands. Thank you. Our only minor concerns are the cost of care & that some of her favourite clothes were missing.
My parents have now been at Beeston Rise for nearly one year and during that time I cannot fault the personalised support and care they have been give. Despite difficult medical issues to deal with. I know my parents are more settled and relaxed than they have been for years. The Beeston Rise staff operate with dignity, cheerfulness, creativity and the management style and the teamwork they inspire is impressive. Thank you!
We had a bad experience at a previous care home. I was contemplating home care instead. However, my son found Beeston Rise on line. We went to visit and found it to be the opposite end of the scale from the Other home. I was sure we wouldn't be able to afford it, but it turned out to be £350 cheaper per week then The other home My mam has been there around 6 weeks with a holiday in the middle. Room on suite brilliant Meals are better than most hotels we have been in Facilities brilliant cinema hairdressers spa and lovely bathrooms which I use regularly to give my mam a bubble bath which she loves Gardens are beautiful Always free tea and coffee along with cakes for visitors to enjoy with residents The staff are caring and friendly and always on hand. The activities are brilliant and so much fun. I feel welcome and comfortable using the facilities with my mam The home is so well run. Would 100% recommend. My mam has Alzheimer's her life is so much better here
My wife was in the care home for 4 weeks as respite for me following a knee replacement. I thought the care home provided was excellent. The cost provided was expensive but I took advantage of a deal of 4 weeks for the price of 3 weeks, despite this I would still recommend the care home to anybody who asked.
The new management team at Beeston Rise is forming a cohesive, efficient and, above all, happy atmosphere in the care home. The care staff are wonderful. They are friendly and approachable and can be seen treating the residents with dignity and respect. There are so many activities for the residents and it's lovely to see them taking part and having fun. Giving up your independence of living in your own home is hard, but the staff at Beeston Rise have welcomed Mum and helped the transition, and we are very grateful for the care she is receiving. Housekeeping and nutrition are great too.
Having spent almost a month in Beeston Rise care home I was most impressed with it. I have lived and worked in Beeston for many years and have fond memories of it. In the Care Home everyone made me so welcome which helped me a lot, and I would not hesitate to come back here again when the time comes, or please pass my Sincere Thanks to all the staff and Management With Best Regards
Staff are all caring and supportive and very approachable if we have questions or concerns. The chefs cater well for dietary requirements. Regular calendar of events and activities, coffee mornings, crafts and exercise. High turnover of staff is a concern juts from relationships that are supportive and people leave.
Very good time out, arranged very well, enjoyed myself and company.
All the staff are extremely friendly to both residents and visitors. Drinks (tea, coffee, etc.) are available to visitors at all times. The atmosphere of the premises is very homely. Rooms are very well appointed with lovely en-suites. A home I would use again for respite care or as a permanent place of residence.
The building is spacious, light and airy with plenty of natural light. The decor is cheery and the wall pictures are interesting. The furniture is comfortable and respectful, allowing groups to sit together. I noticed that the toilet doors are heavy, so it is difficult for residents to use and reach the facilities without help. My sister's bedroom on the ground floor was roomy with plenty of shelving for books and photo albums. The bed looked comfortable. There were plenty of surfaces to display family photos. The shower room was well laid out. I have 12 friends in "homes" in Ludlow, and Beeston Rise is 50% more welcoming than any here!
Visited from abroad to see my mum after recent move to this care hyome. There is absolutely nothing to fault here - everything truly excellent. A purpose-built almost new facility with every possible facility and convenience, but the most important aspect of caring is the staff and everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, friendly, caring and could not do enough to help both the residents but also their visitors. I was always worried about having to make this step in caring for my parents and indeed dreading it ever happen to me, but those concerns are greatly reduced having witnessed that my mum is in safe and caring hands in a positive environment. Big thanks to all the staff for the excellent work they are doing!
My mother has been in Beeston Rise since February 12th and has been looked after very well. She seems to be slowly settling in. Unfortunately, there has been a sickness bug and I was unable to visit but there is excellent safety. And now I can visit, it's very reassuring that my mother is being looked after. All the staff are excellent and so very helpful and kind. Thank you so much.
The overall management that I receive is excellent. I am a lifelong resident I feel comfortable here. The carers will always listen to me, my few complaints are taken seriously and appropriate action is taken, always with suitable explanation. I feel I am able to talk to the carers and so resolve any difference of opinion r.e. how i feel especially when in pain.
I could not fault Beeston Rise. All the carers are lovely and very friendly and approachable and nothing is ever too much to ask. The activities they provide are amazing and very varied. The facilities are very well looked after and it is a lovely environment to be in and visit.
